To commemorate the one-hundredth year anniversary of the Restoration of the Holy Orenian Empire, the conclusion of the Nordling War and, the 10th year anniversary of his reign, His Imperial Majesty, Emperor John VIII has decided to throw a year of festivities! Banners will be raised, cheering will be heard from Elysium, the Church bells will toll louder than ever! Peace and Prosperity is on the horizon! Citizens of Oren, enjoy our series of events bound to put you in the jovial, celebratory mood!
To start off our year of celebrations, on The 20th of Haren's Folly (8 pm EST, Monday):
A celebratory banquet serving some of Oren’s finest dishes will be hosted by His Imperial Majesty, Emperor John VIII in the Augustine’s Banquet Hall. Whilst eating, guests will be entertained by volunteer comedians! Tomatoes will be provided
The 14th of Sigismund's End (4 pm EST, Tuesday):
The raising of John the VIII’s, Veterans MemorialColumn in the city square. In honor of the Imperial Soldiers who fought valiantly throughout the Nordling War. Please take a moment of silence whilst reading to pay respects to all the men who have lost or risked their lives to preserve our great Nation. Oren aut Mortem
The 20th of Horen's Calling (8 pm EST, Wednesday):
Looking for Love? The Mayors Charity Ball, held in the Augustine Ballroom will charge each guest an admission fee of 5 mina. Each guest will be entered into a lottery and get the chance to win over 100 mina!! Guests will be urged to chat with friends, find love, indulge in our finest flutes of Champagne and a variety of cocktail appetizers. The the winner of the lottery will be announced at the end of the Gala, guaranteeing you love with this new found mina.
The 20th of Owyn's Light (8pm EST, Thursday):
A march held by the ISA will take place throughout our Imperial City of Providence. Vendors will sell food, drinks, flags, among other goods to civilians cheering the ISA onwards. The event will be followed by a speech and Q&A session from His Imperial Excellency, The Archchancellor Ledicort d’Azor, and His Excellency, Lord Mayor Otis de Rosius in front of Helvets One.
The 20th of Godfrey's Triumph (8 pm EST, Friday):
A festival will be held outside the Augustine with plenty of amusements to enjoy such as a rollercoaster, bumper carts, an archery contest, a tourney, a food eating competition, and more! To finish off this week of celebrations, an extravagant firework display!
