Varis Nailo

Varis read over the account of the battle. "Serves those cowards right for attacking Ephesius."

Today was supposed to be the day of a tournament at Ephesius, a day of joy and rest. However, the king of Urguan is relentless. His troops invaded our city, and took many of us captive. I was set free to spread the word that the dwarves shall win. However, the dwarves shall not win, because they are cowards. They attack while we are unprepared because they know that they cannot win if we are prepared. They are evil, ruining a day of joy. But none of these are why we shall win. We shall win because we are strong! Every one of us has the power to kill a thousand dwarves! We can and will fight! For our friends, and for Oren itself!

Varis smirks. "It takes 100 dwarves to kill one human, an army won't do anything. They can ask for our surrender now, but soon..." Varis chuckles. "They'll be begging us to accept theirs."

"Army? Army?! Idiots." The traveler shook his head at the poster. "This is going to be a bunch of sniveling teens, not soldiers. You don't fight an enemy with a blunt axe, all you need is a sharp dagger!"

"Damn. Whish i'd been in town when that went down." Varis looked away from the note. He started laughing. "What a joke. Assassin? Maybe if he'd actually killed someone. At this stage he's just a common burgular!"

The traveler looked at the writing, giving it a second read. He'd been away from other Elves for too long. He couldn't help thinking that the writer had a way with words, but then, that is the job of politicians is it not?

He scrunched up the parchment, and tossed it into a nearby fire place. 

"I suppose it's a good thing I take care of myself."

"Looks like I really stopped by at the wrong time" A traveler says, sighing.
