What circumstances led to this ban?

When I was active on LOTC I made a close circle of friends and played with them almost every day. I enjoyed their company and, as friends do, we relied on each other at times. One day, and to be frank, I forget how it came about a friend (Staff DM me if his identity is that important) told me he needed a skin, and I took it to heart to find him one. I scoured the innerwebs until i found one matching his desires. I showed him a picture of that skin, and in the moment became a bad friend as well as community member. I took credit for the work and gave him a price id be willing to give him the skin for. I did intend to to use the money to pay the original skinner his dues, but I also planned to keep a share for myself, like somehow I had 'earned' it by brokering the deal. I let my greediness blind me and betray the trust of the skinner and my own friend.

Are there aspects of the ban you agree and/or disagree with?

I disagree with the allegation that I charging back commissions. While this wasn't mentioned in my ban note, I was informed that this was another factor in my removal from the server via discord. I have never spent real life money nor have i bartered any real world objects for skins. While I may have taken credit for a skin, I have never charged back or conned my way into getting a skin. What makes me more uneasy is that when asking a multitude of staff members for any information regarding this I kept getting redirected to different people, before finally being assigned an Admin. With this staff member, I was left waiting sometimes weeks for a response, and each time I could never receive the evidence of me charging back, with the question being ignored or being refused access to it. This is by no means a hit piece, and I apologize to the admin handling my appeal if it was perceived that way, I really just want to show the thought process behind my initial disagreement.

What motivates you to return to LOTC?

wish to join again to experience roleplaying and having fun with those i made friends with and explore new possibilities, LOTC has an amazing pvp system and an amazing lore and the people who work on it and immerse us in this world are the very best, and i would like to experience that once again after having left for awhile.

I committed a serious transgression in the server and have harmed not only my reputation but the reputation of skinners as a whole. I am here to appeal my ban and apologize to those i hurt in the process. I really shouldn't of valued mina over the price of real people, I should've reconsidered what I was doing and came clean There are several things I should have done differently but did not. I have taken these months away from the server in stride and truly reflected on my actions and why I did such things. I hope you consider unbanning me.

What circumstances led to this ban?

I was banned for plagiarizing a skin I found off the internet. When initally attempting to appeal ItDontMatta informed me that i had also charged back skin comissions. If i were to be allowed back into LoTC I would never steal a skin again, instead I will ask to use it or create my own.

Are there aspects of the ban you agree and/or disagree with?

I disagree with matta's allegation of charging back commissions. I've never used any IRL currency or any other payment besides mina for skins. When I asked some staff members for any 'proof' of this occurring I was shutdown and told to: "Enjoy my ban" and that I was lying. I can say with 100% certainty I never bought skins for IRL money nor charged back for any. If you fail to believe me, which I understand, you are more than able to cross-reference the banking info that I've used on this server. If any questions arise feel free to shoot me a dm.

What motivates you to return to LOTC?

I was initially banned for 1 month for plagiarizing a skin I found on pmc (planet minecraft) though recently people have been saying that the real reason was for charging back on skin commissions. Motivation to return: Before I was banned I was an active player in the human/orkish communities, especially in savoy and my own guild that I was co-leading. Bucelt’s bay was just starting to pick up, we had members and contracts being brought up and our build had just been pasted into the server. Lore was being drafted and revised and before my untimely ban our first official event was scheduled to take place. If I were to return I would love to revisit that community and revive it once more as many players in that community have stated they would unshelf this characters if I were to make a return. I love playing on LoTC and the connections to people that the server afforded me. I have only found my self in this situation because of my own behavior and no one else’s. If I were able to return the sever it’d allow me to finish my characters stories as well as the groups they were in.

From ashes and to ashes; conception until demise; everything must come to an end.

St. Terrell may have not been around for too long, but his impact showed up differently. Known as Terry by friends, or father Shipp, the zealot made it his goal to rejuvenate the dim in spirit and better those who didn't deserve redemption. On the day of his demise, the man started it as he did any other, with a prayer: "Oh GOD, please instill me with the power to accept those who I cannot change; I request you burden me with their suffering and show them the light, the joy of life, rather than condemning them to live a life of sin and torment." This is how the man started every day. He went above, and beyond in his community, abstaining from food so as to 'face others' qualms.' by enduring the punishment of his creation. Continuing with his day, Terrell stopped by his slice-of-life spot: the Garden of Serenity. Quickly shuffling across the riverbed, the idol hobbled over towards a stone slab juxtaposed to a tree - it lay perfectly with the sunlight beaming down towards it; resting in the middle of the rays was the bread that the man seemingly had been cooking. Taking the bread, the zealot soon rifled it into his satchel as he ventured off towards that day's mass, planning to distribute the loaves there. After mass had concluded, the shoeless priest made his way towards the back of the Armenian church he frequented - starting to distribute his meal to the needy. It was only there that the true test of virtue happened, as a peasant put a blade to him, requesting all coinage or anything of value. Not being a materialistic man, St. Terrell opted out of conflict as he gave the man all that he asked for, as the thief needed it more than him. But alas, not caring about capital only goes so far when you are being robbed as his would-be murderer became enraged with the lack of wealth is shown as he plunged his knife into the man. Terry crumpled towards the ground, a smile dawned on his face as he muttered: "I forgive you."
