What magic(s) will you be teaching?

         Alchemy

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Alchemy is the study and understanding of the material world, using said knowledge to use that which forms the realm to manipulate and use for creations of their own, such as potions. Each material is formed by signs and symbols, such as ores or herbs, even blood. Alchemists are capable to read and identify these within materials, then using specific methods of extraction (depending on the recipe) are capable of separating these basic raw forms of the material and mix alongside other base objects to create something new. The work of an Alchemist begins by identifying the components of the materials they wish to use, this process taking hours and proper research on part of the alchemist, then extracting the symbols (sometimes with an elemental sign prefix) to work, depending on the recipe it might require a particulard method of extraction, this being defined by the element of the material, and then mixing all with a base material within their lab through the proper tools and means. It takes a total of 8 years (8 IRL weeks) for an alchemist to reach their full potential. There is common knowledge recipes, such as oils and healing concoctions, yet there is also more rare forms of alchemy which require to be taught by someone with said knowledge, such as infernal, alteration or black alchemy.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

There is extra pieces of Alchemy that require yet another application and a teacher with the knowledge and ability to teach such things, under the name of Further Alchemy, each piece with a different section, focus and application. There is such as the work of automatons, this one being Animii crafting, and more rare knowledge such as Tawkins, allowing for modifications to the user and the creation of organic life.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

The creation of Eye Alteration Potion.

The Alchemist arrives to his lab and gets ready to prepare his concoction, gathering his tools and his materials over the work table. Then, he pours some pre-made distilled water into a small cooking pot before focusing on the rest. 

With not a single second to waste, the Alchemist grabs the first herb, placing it on a cutting table while reaching with his free hand to grab a knife, swiftly cutting the herb into many pieces and then sliding the knife to push and drop the pieces on a mortar, which soon uses to ground down the materials with a pestle. Once it had been done, the Alchemist takes the result to then saturate with aqua vitae.

The Alchemist takes the concoction and boils it- filtering afterwards to remain just with a fine powder. It takes a few hours before the Alchemist manages to identify all which was required and extract the right signs.

He repeats the same process with the other herbs and then pours all of the signs into the pot of distilled water, adding aproximately 25ml of dye into the mix. After this, he just stirrs and boils the mixture until the concoction was ready. Once done, he pours the result into a vial and seals it close with a cork, leaving it in storage for later use.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

Whylde prepares the lab and gathers the tools as he waits for his student to arrive. Soon enough it happens and he gestures the soon-to-be alchemist to come closer. "Did you do as I asked?" the man inquired while finishing the initial setting up of the tools.

"Good, good... Keep using the notes I gave you and research more materials, note down everything you discover as well." Then the man then brings a herb to the table and continued on talking "Now, I will teach you one the method to extract signs with the fire symbol, keep attention." and after saying this, he brings the herb near to a torch, not to burn but to dry it. 

After the herb had been dried completely, he brings the herb to a cutting table and uses a knife to cut and shred it into a fine dust. "Memorize these steps, none is to be skipped..." he tells his student before setting the dust in fire with the previously mentioned torch. The fire then goes out and only ashes remain. With this done, he gestured his student to come closer and began extracting the signs, showing the result for the student to remember.

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

I correct my student's mistake, expressing what was done wrong and ask to send me rp screenshots to check on the progress and avoid the mistake being repeated, as well as to ask for staff to help if required.

Mine was the sort of thing that would happen in the Final Destination movies. Lil fella was running on his wheel, fast and furious, then for some reason just stopped and went rolling with the wheel before being sent flying into a fan. I was 7 at the time and I was both traumatized and impressed. My mom? She was horrified. RIP Cheesecake.

How did you become so damn based?

A pirate Captain laughs as he reads the missive, then just throws it to the chimney fire without a care. “Fool. Bold of you to assume my citizens are such. Even more bold to think the Rex would stand idle and let his territory be taken just like that!” and then he laughed some more, moving on to more important matters.
