Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Epiphytes are descendants that had contact with a fae plant (three kinds :fae trees,fae plants and fae mushrooms ).They became a part of the plant itself,thesouls of the descendants are intact but their body’s were destroyed by the plant and got a new one out of the plantmaterial itself ,this new body looks similar to the old one but has special characteristics of the plant their body was replaced by , because of that there are three types:the Dryophytes (Epiphytes that became epiphytes by contact with a fae tree),the Bryophytes(they are bound to a herbaceous) and the saprophytes (epiphytes bound to a fungal organism).These three types might possess minor differences depending on the  type of plant they are bound to ,so a Bryophytes bound to a bush looks a little different than a Bryophytes bound to a flower.

it may look like the bond of a decendant and a fae plant is coincidentally the fae plant their correlation suggests the plant choose the decendant purposely.

strenghts:

can go in areas with a high fae influence.

can grow things out of plant materials occasionaly.

they have the environmental tollerance of their plant.

weaknesses:

they are weak against corruptet magic

holy macic has no effekt on them 

thanium poison brings them in a frenzy until they know that their plant is save .

they are easier to burn .

when they touch aurum(gold) they feel  a strong pain
