Halon sighs, looking over the bloodied and beaten grove. He solemnly walks about one last time, shaking his head in shame at the abandoned mess.
"Ridiculous... pushed from our home, our sanctum, by some crazy *****..." he mutters to himself, as he makes his way back to the entrance.
He slides his bag off from his shoulder, plopping it onto the dying grass. Fumbling around in it, he reveals a large rolled bit of white cloth. After unfurling it, he ties it snugly on to a nearby branch, which had fallen off its host.
After digging a decent hole, he jabs the branch down, kicking the dirt back, securing it. Halon takes a deep breath, letting another sigh escape his dry lips, watching the makeshift flag sway in the wind.
"And over a bloody book."

Atriana looks about the empty grove with a frown. She sighs as her gaze turns to the board, studying the pile of notes. She quickly jots down on a bit of parchment and stacks it with the others.
"I've been making my weekly trips here, though you all must understand I cannot spare as much time as I would like, I have twins to care to...

Name: Idhrenith
Truename ((MCName)): 123devmo321
Origin: Idhrenith was born to a middle class family of High Elves who resided in Laurelin. She had lived a rather peaceful life, unconcerned of the Undead. Idhrenith always had an affinity for plant life, and when she was of a decent age, had taken herbalism as a hobby, and later she dabbled in alchemy. Idhrenith had left her family to enter a small college, where she was taught for three decades of the mysteries of plant-life. Many years later, after an adventure to the Verge to examine the herbs, she had returned to a burnt and desolate Laurelin. She had sprinted to her house, the bodies of her mother and father being devoured by Undead minions. Scared and lonely, Indhrenith was pushed along back into the Verge, and caught a ride on a merchants boat to the new land.
How can you declare you are Mali'thill: Idhrenith was always proud of her pure-blood heritage, and had brought along documentation of her families existence, along with other mementos.
Why do you wish to become a citizen of Haelun'or: I wish to rejoin my brothers and sisters after an extended expedition of learning the plant-life of the new land. My skills would be put to good use with the healing of the other High Elves.
What is your personal vision for our blessed race:
When I close my eyes I see our race leading the elven nation with knowledge, as our intelligence is greater than our cousins and would lead to a stronger nation as a whole.
What does maehr'sae hiylun'ehya mean to you:
This means that we are to live our lives as true Mali'aheral, only mating with other High Elves, condemning those who partner with other races, and in a healers case as mine, not tending to those who would interfere with us.
What Elven phrase do you particularly take to heart? Please explain why: walehir Mali'aheral : Idhrenith is an herbalist, specifically a healer. The healing of her people brings great joy to her.
What is the subject of the first book you will submit to the college: It shall be of the art of healing through the various herbs that fill this strange land.
What would be your reaction if you ever saw a human, orc and unknown Mali'aheral travel the roads from Alras together: Idhrenith would study the group a bit, confused as to why a Mali'aheral would choose to travel with the bunch. She would then warn her brothers and sisters of them, at the same time trying to get an explanation.
What home would you like to receive: (if left blank you will be granted one of the free residences, if one is availible).
Are there any other details about yourself you wish to relay to the council:
As I have heard there are no healers in the city, I would wish for a sort of clinic to be set up for our people.

A Druid's Wakening.

He rubbed his eyes, the once withered ripples underneath now rejuvenated, once more smoothed over by the peaceful haze of hibernation. Slumping out of the leafy mess he called a hammock, the Oasis Druid looked over the sparkling sea, smirking as the lively fish leap to and fro. He gave a slight nod towards the ocean, turning back to the small paradise of an island he's occupied during his retreat.
After a moments notice, he knew the time had come for his return. Soon, his thoughts drifted back towards his brethren, firstly, he was worried, though with age comes wisdom, and he soon convinced himself the bustling new-comers would be kept on the right path by those elders he held so dear.
The Druid turned his gaze towards the gargantuan palm tree on his right, smirking briefly as he watched the ram-shackled vessel he had arrived on bob in the gentle waves, cracking gently onto the fined sand of the small island.
John let out a miniscule shrug alongside a hefty yawn, slowly scurrying across the island, searching for any bits and bobs to repair the boat. Hours passed, the sun shifted to the center of the immense blue above, though he had time, the island bustled with fruits and small wildlife that could sustain him for decades to come.
The sun soon traveled off on it's eternal journey, only to be followed by it's partner. The pattern repeated itself many times over before the vessel was sea worthy. John chuckled at his work, a mess of tiny bits of bark and log tied off to the base of the wrecked ship with the sturdiest of vines he could acquire. In all honesty however, he had seen it as an upgrade, the ship's condition had not actually deteriorated too much since he set off prior.
The Druid gathered what supplies he had mustered during his scavenge, packing an abundant amount of water skins alongside his stash of salted meat. The food wasn't as splendid as John had wished, though, much to his dismay, the island was completely devoid of mushrooms.
The Druid yawned once more before fastening the makeshift sail, smiling at the mass of ocean before him a moment before casting off...
