  1. Hero Application:

    Minecraft User Name: Transphat

    Hero’s Name: Thimble

Background Of Hero : Thimble was a young elf, raised by his elven foster parents. He Doesn't know what happened to his real parents, but he doesn't care much, for his foster parents are nice, wealthy and strong. At an extremely young age of 15, Thimble took up archery lessons to better prepare for attacks. Fortunately, Thimble had a peaceful childhood, and never had to use said skills, but little did he know that they would come in handy for his life ahead.

At the age of 25 Thimble moved to Laurelin Into his own, first, real home of Aegis. He lived there for some time, living among trees and elves of his kind. One day, at the age of 75, He went on a mining expedition to Kal'Urguan. Minding his own business he took to the road and swung his pick back and forth, whistling a tune as he went. As he was entering Kal'Urguan he saw a towering bridge peering over the walls of the dwarven capitol. He thought little of it, and continued his business. As he was mining he wondered about the bridge, even thought of crossing it! He was not an elf of adventure though, and went back to his house.

A year later still, at his current age of 76, He went yet again to Kal'urguan for his weekly mining expedition. He looked again at the bridge, and saw figures moving about it, they appeared to be up to no good. Thimble stealthily slid up the bridge to look for the people. Not a single elf, orc, dwarf, of human could be seen though! He was curious now, very curious. He decided it was a message from Aeriel, a sign to be more adventurous!

Thimble took to the road like a dwarf to gold. He followed it intently, imagining what could be at the other side. After much walking and doubting if it ever ended, He came upon the walls to a magnificent city, unopened to the public. He looked around and saw a smaller, more quaint camp, embracing the feeling of adventure, Thimble went to the gates.

The people inside were kind and fun, but they had an issue. Their best friend and leaders, the ascended, did not feel their design of a tower, was sufficient, they asked Thimble if he had an idea. Thimble, having an eye for architecture gave his best idea, and even took to building upon their tower. The UAC leader, Martin Benedict , allowed Thimble to join. His life is now full of adventure, courage, and friendship.

Good Deeds : I aided a coalition I had not yet heard of, I have given food to strangers many a time, I once helped a young lad who had fallen in a hole who had no means of escape, and have settled disputes of strangers.

Character Flaws: Thimble sometimes over-thinks situations where lightning speed and reaction are needed. He has a habit of using less common materials in his buildings.

Hero’s Specialty : Thimble is a builder, he is sufficient in many themes and designs. In his spare time, he often takes to building, and refining older designs. He loves gazing at great buildings for any amount of time, examining what makes them so magnificent.

Rationale (what is your characters mindset, why does he go out of his way to help others): Thimble has strong emotions that allow him to put himself into others shoes. He is also patient and tries to be level headed at all times. He does not like war, or skirmishes, but will go to war when he feels necessary, or ordered to.

How do you determine right from wrong: I determine right from wrong by carefully taking in details and imagining myself in both sides shoes. I try to be unbiased, fair, and true to my word. in example, if a man harasses a group for days on end, and gets killed by the group for his words, I would take side of the group because you can not yell insults and expect nothing to happen.

Reaction to the following situations (At least 1 Paragraph):

    1. Cephalus defines ‘justice’ as speaking the truth and paying one's debts. Socrates quickly refutes this account by suggesting that it would be wrong to repay certain debts—for example, to return a borrowed weapon to a friend who is not in his right mind.

In my opinion, both are correct to a certain degree, truth and paying debts is the only way a society can work, an economy of trust and fairness would be a good place indeed. Through sharing weapons to a person who has lost his way, is not wise and should be avoided, perhaps, repaying him in other items, or services would be best.

    2. 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous misfortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them?

One must take the bull by the horns, if the bull will not leave in peace. I say, taking on the army of troubles and ending them would be worth it, for a peaceful life and the ones around you. I believe suffering from an enemy you can not touch, and trying to live through the arrows is a sad existence indeed.
