"Drikk sits there at his study room located in Kal'Azgoth, as his lit candle begins to flare he picks up his quill and peers over his shops paperwork, Drikk bends down under the table pulling out a draw where he selects a bundle of new paper roughly A4 sized, Drikk shuts the draw placing the bundles of paper on top of the shops paper work and begins to write out posters/flyers, momentarily dipping his quill in an ink pot." 

"Drikk then orders a courier to post the posters/flyer in Asulon, Malinor, Kal'Azgoth and other smaller settlements, he hands the courier a small pouch of minas before waving him off."

Tell us about yourself (1-2 paragraphs):

Drikk_Frostbeard is a fifty six year old dwarf with allot of experiences and skill from what life has thrown at him, he has a bushy brown beard and a scar running down the left hand side of his face from a battle in the past, Drikk has gone from master miner to a man at arms in the white roses military ranks, but he still searches for a role in the economy which suits him best, Drikk hard working and reliable, if you ask him to do a job he will get it done.

Drikk grew up at the Frostbeards clan hall, here he learnt the right skills to go out and brave the world, he can be very understanding but maybe too understanding at times, Drikk now roams about helping out here and there, doing his bit for society, but deep down Drikk knows his life must have more meaning then this.

What job do you want?:

Drikk wishes to be a head miner as well as a sergeant for the Watch.

Experience:

Drikk_Frostbeard has been a Man at arms for the White Rose, he was once a high ranked dedicant for the druids, he is a master miner as well as a lumberjack in training, Drikk has been Housecarl for many people too, and at one point he was joint in leadership of a town known as Norodrun.

"Drikk strides up to the notice board and notices the miners note, before taking an old note from the board and turning it around he presses is against a stone wall, Drikk then pulls out a quiver and begins to write."

"Hail there fellow Dwarf, I see t'ere be more dwarfs on this island then I expected. I will gladly help ye down in them tunnels if only I had access to the closed mines myself, I be a skill full miner and blacksmithy, so jus' send me a bird when ye get the chance."

"Drikk places the reused piece of paper against the message board before carefully pinning up, he then turns from the board and heads up to tier two."

* a novice barely makes it to Lock's study. Panting and breathing hard he hands Lock'eed a notice of entry.

"Stay for a moment novice, take a seat and rest"

*Lock then opens the letter and goes over it. He then pulls another paper out from his desk and begins to write a return letter. Handing it to the novice he then begins his long trek back down the towers staircase. Lock then turns and walks out onto the balcony overlooking the land and surveys all the new buildings that have recently gone up. The grounds are alot more active thinks Lock. Looking over the builds he counts off on his list what remains to be built and done.

With the issue of bad role-play, why not have specific times when you can use the travel mechanism? Like a train time system?

Hmm interesting, I like the idea of having an Orc training with us to become "smart" as they are considered to be the less intellect species, this will be fun.
