  1. I can only applaud that the staff is stepping up their game and showing some strong character, enough about discussion and pandering to the player-base. Sometimes hard decisions have to be made. So you have my cheers for doing something good and productive with the server.

If this carries on then we might escape this thick black fog that have been shrouding the server for a while now.

  2. James enters the room with a cloth sack slung over his shoulder and his beloved pipe in his mouth, he is puffing on it furiously as he walks around the room, gathering the different pieces of papers. Slowly and tirelessly he walks around and picks up every last piece of paper in the room, finding them in all kind of places, in the gate mechanism, in the coat hanger and underneath assorted boots. After having gathered all of it he would stride into the kitchen and pour some of the sheets into the fireplace.

"What a waste of precious paper."

  3. Given name(RP name): James Holm Crownwell, fifth in line of the Crownwell family.

(Skype name if you have one): mark.dalsgaard

    True name(MC name): markdalgaard

    Race: Human, Northerner.

Are you applying as a ranger or an ACCEPTED mage ((As in you have a MA)): Well, considering that I have some experience when it comes to the usage of herbs and bandages, I was hoping to become s physician and ease the pain of the wounded.

If ACCEPTED mage what form of magic ye use?: (N/A)

    Short Answers for all Applicants;

Why do you wish to join the Delvers?

Well, the answer might sound like a cliché but the thought of  venturing into lost tombs and experiencing parts of the world that I never dreamt of being able to see is one that would ensnare all able men, that and I hold a passion for my craft. Aiding others is a noble cause and with the Delvers I can experience both. Expand on my craft outside a dusty room and see

the world as it truly is.

Have you belonged to any faction or guild before?

Back before the disappearance of the Archmage, I used to be a student at the Mage Guild. However, my apprenticeship there fell together as people abandoned the Guild and went elsewhere. Other than that, I have not been associated with any

    guilds.

List three words that a guild needs to function and survive.

    Adaptation, cunning and intelligence.

In your own words describe what you think a delve is:

A delve is to dive into a long forgotten place, do battle with its guardians (if necessary) and then begin the more serious work. Archeological work is a fine craft and without it clumsy hands might destroy the valuable items that hails from our forefathers. Which would be tragic, considering its tremendous worth to scholars.

If you found an artifact and that artifact could do anything. What would it do?
It would most likely be some sort of divination-enchanted eye, giving its users a glimpse of whatever area they would desire to see. Such an artifact could hold tremendous importance while gathering intelligence prior to a delve of one kind or another. The possibilities it could have would be endless, scouting for traps, thus saving lives or you could even use it to navigate a labyrinth by seeing it from the viewpoint of a bird. Such an artifact would be of great importance Indeed.

  4. I have only known Acornlad for a short while however his knowledge about the finer workings of role-playing is extra-ordinary. He is in core an entertainer with a flair for the subtler role-playing. I can wholeheartedly support his application with my most sincere recommendations.

    +1.

  5. *After having taken a form from the billboard, James would rummage through his bloated satchel and draw a small vial of ink and a worn-out writing quill. After dipping the quill furiously he would begin scribbling eagerly onto the form, slowly and carefully answering each question. After having made sure that the ink had dried he would fasten the paper to the billboard.*

    Your Name: James H. Crownwell

    Your Age: 37

    Your Race: Human.

Are you wishing to join the college as a Mage, or a Pilgrim?:  As a pilgrim, however
as a former aspirant of the former college, I desire to become a student. My
studies were abruptly ended by the event concerning the former Archmage.

If joining as a mage, clarify on if you are currently skilled in the magical arts, or being taught by someone who is: This is sadly not active, my studies were discarded before I had a chance to practice it.

What affinity of magic are you skilled in? Currently none, I am a blank sheet, ready for knowledge.

    (( OOC:

    MC Name: markdalgaard

When did you join the server?:  I was accepted unto the server on the 24th of august, 2011. I have been around for quite a while now.))

  6. "Perhaps, perhaps not. But it was still a story worth telling." James chuckles and lets out another sky of smoke, smirking to her. "Aha.. I would have been a story worth telling, one of its kind. But I fear he is just outside to gather more books for the library or discovering new types of magic. You can never be sure with Ambros". James gets out of his seat and pours some of the boiling water from the cauldron into his mug, he adds a few herbs from the pouch hanging on his belt and swirls it around.

  7. "Well..... I am not entirely sure but the last time I saw him, he was busy feeding the kraken. I began walking out of the toiletorium and heard a large splash. I turned back and looked around but he was nowhere to be seen. The kraken looked well-fed through." James leans back in his chair and looks up on the celling, letting out small skies of smoke once in a while.

  8. James walks down the road, hearing the news about this Dawn's Bakery. He scowls and raises his fist in anger, waving it back and forth. He steps up on the platform and yells.

"The witch has returned! Burn her before she consumes our children in the middle of the night!"

He steps down from the platform and pulls his dagger from its sheath, it is raised into the air and he looks down to the crowd again.

"Let us burn the witch once more!"

  9. James notices Yuln, he remember her from earlier and follows her to the Atrium. As he takes another sip of his tea he shifts his gaze at the sketchbook and back at her. "Are you still waiting for Arch-mage Ambros?". James takes out his pipe while he waits for the answer and begins stuffing it with tobacco from a small tin can. He rummages through his pockets and takes out his flint and tinder, striking them against each other until a small sparks starts flying. He lights a small piece of cloth with it and lowers it into the pipe, after a little puffing on the pipe the tobacco finally catches on fire and smoke starts rising from it. "Hmh?

  10. James have been rushing back and forth inside the Wyveryn Hold, there was so many reagents he needed to gather, so many books he needed to read. Once in a while he would spend a moment at the gate to beed cooled down by the freezing breeze before running back down into the library. After having read about the different magic archetypes he would go back to the gate once more. He raises his hand and waves to the people outside the gate. He stands with a steaming hot cup of tea in his other hand which he takes a sip of once in a while. "Isn't this getting a little extreme? Standing out there could get you killed.

(( You can reply to this))

  11. (( Excellent idea! Now we can finally have a place for all those poor children that lost their parents to ravaging orcs. You will have to watch them carefully through, they are all fueled by their hatred and their wish to get revenge over EVERYBODY! ))
