  1. Hey there! Very few of you may know me, but I am yoku651! I currently play a Wood Elf, but have been looking to branch off into a new character. I want to perhaps try out a high elf, or Mali'aheral, if you will, but I do not have a skin or the skills to make one, so here I am, requesting someone take an interest and draw me some skins :D

Now, I have literally no base skin, so your window of creativity is open! However, I do want a certain clothing style to go with it (which I think makes it easier on you skin makers than just making a skin out of no where). I want my high elf to be dressed in robes. Below you can see a reference that I would like the skin to be based around.

I would prefer there to be no helmet, but if you want draw one in, I'm sure I'll have no trouble making an alternate without it. Thank you very much in advance to anyone who steps up and completes my request.

Now you may be thinking, "What, for free? Hell no, I ain't doin' that!" Wait, wait! If you would do it for free, great! However, for those who want to be paid for their service, I don't have much. 100 minas is quite literally all of the money I have. If you wanted more, I'm sorry. If 100 minas is okay with you, great!

I'm very excited to see what you all can come up with, and I'm excited to see who can use the new Alex player model to the full usage :)

EDIT: Well, basically, I know it hasn't been long, but I grew impatient and decided that

    1. Nobody would do this for 100 minas and
    2. Just to do it myself

    So, I did!

It looks a lot better in-game, trust me (and it's not too bad for someone's first skin, right?. However, as you can see, it's not shaded... at all. NOW, all I'm asking is for someone who actually knows how to shade to shade my skin for me. I can attach the skin file to this post. Again, I only have 100 minas, but I think this is far less of a task than creating the skin from scratch.

EDIT 2: Hey, if you still want to take a crack at creating the skin from scratch, be my guest. But, again, only 100 minas.

  3. Hello! A quick little intro into who I am before I go and ask the questions I need answered (Also i would like to apologize if this is on the wrong board,, I wasn't sure where else to put it). I'm yoku651, or Yoku. I used to play LOTC a long time ago. Like 4 years ago. I'm not sure why but something has sparked my curiosity of this place I once called home. After thinking about it, I might want to come back and enjoy roleplaying again, but I just have a few questions.

    1. Is there somewhere I can read up all the patch changes and lore changes?
    2. Am I free to play my old characters, or did something happen in the lore required everyone to restart?
    3. If yes, are their villain applications still intact, or do you need to re-apply.
    4. Actually, are there even still villain/magic applications?
    5. If no, how do those things work now?
    6. Are there race applications (For example, when I played, you had to apply for Mori, Kharajyr...)?
    7. PVP and war changes?
    8. Faction changes?
    9. Race changes, additions, or removals?
    10. Basically, can anyone guide me around this new place that was once as familiar as the back of my hand?
    11. EDIT: What mods (including texture packs), if any, should I download to be more immersed?

*There is a note at the bottom of the paper*

"Greetings, new Mamerache'sair! I am Yoku Rolith. I was in the Sentinels back in Asulon. If it weren't for my demotions, I might have your place by now! But that aside, after the ship docked on the island, I took another boat to explore and search for old family. I was gone for a long time. I've finally returned, and might I say a lot has changed! I'll be interested on how this are run now! I heard there were uniforms as well. I'll be sure to get one as soon as I can. Good luck on your position, and may the Sentinels serve you well. -Yoku"

  5. MC Name: yoku651

Mori Name: Isteth'Nar (Isteth for short)

Age (In Mori and Human): 50 (250 Human years)

    Mother's Name: Zauviir

Appreance: Isteth is 5 feet tall and weighs about 80 pounds. He was often called ugly by women throughout the cave, and rarely called handsome, as females took no interest in him. He has silver hair, but not completely grey. More like a slightly darkened white. His skin is a dark grey, and his eyes are a slightly dark purple. His clothes are brown themed and unlike most Mori, it covers quite some amount of skin, as he doesn't feel comfortable showing his body. Because of this, he was thought of as weak throughout the cave.

    Brief History:

Isteth'Nar, born into the Commoners, lived a fairly easy early life with his older and younger brothers. He was educated normally and did any work that was assigned. He learned to bow to females, though he bowed to pretty much every older Mori he saw, just in case. Isteth always thought of exploring the parts of the cave that nobody had been to, or even the surface, but one day, something changed his mind. During Isteth late childhood, he witnessed another Mori child being beaten by an adult. Isteth had no idea what is was for, but he knew for sure he would do everything the older Mori told him to do, and never disrespect them, or do anything that would make them angry so he himself would not have to endure a beating.

Isteth's late childhood is when he started taking it a bit easier, but he still did not even think about doing anything that would result in a beating. While he was working, he would take 1, very, very, short break, before continueing his work, making sure to speed up a bit, and not to fall behind, as he knew it would result in beatings. Isteth was later relieved of some of his work, though he still worked everyday. Isteth now wants to visit the surface, but he won't do so unless he is given permission, which he still hasn't gotten.

~The height of a fully grown Mori’Quessir is on average 5'6" - 6'2", a child entering adolescence would not be this tall or weigh as much as an adult.

~The only reason he would be called handsome by a female would be to seduce him, compliments don’t exactly get paid out without ulterior motives. Rather they would be more likely to call him ugly if they did not care to waste their time with him.

~He would almost certainly be known to be weak by all who know of him if his usual raiment covered the majority of his body.

~His rebellion would swiftly be quelled, the first beating might be painful though the message would be clear. The second would be much more brutal, possibly even leaving him with open wounds across his entire back and other parts of his body. Were it to occur again I have little doubt the skin would be torn brutally across his back and the rest of his body and he would be left bleeding in an alley. Every beating after would get exponentially worse culminating with sacrifice if he would not conform and be a ‘proper’ Mori.

~Mori take many years to even become slightly more resilient against sunlight. In a period of two human years the more light that he could handle is not going to be noticeable. Not only is it painful, but it also causes blindness for many days and possibly even a week or more depending on how severely the eyes were damaged. Extended exposure or repeated severe exposure could even leave permanent damage to the eyes. Slowly over a space of two, possibly even three or more decades (Mori Year Decades) would a Mori become even noticeably more able to withstand light. It would take many years, easily surpassing a decade in Mori years before you would be as fully accustomed to light as possible.

If you believe my judgement of this application was unfair, or that any of my points of denial were invalid you can PM me about them. You may reapply after 12 hours have passed and any necessary changes have been made to the application.

Thank you for your input. I shall soak this all in and re-apply once I fully understand this lore

  7. EDIT: Sorry for the double post. My reason for the -1 on this is the same reason as on the GM app. I feel that you can over-react and take it out not on the people that caused the issue, but, again, the people that were involved. I am sorry I had to do this, but my opinion stays the same.

  8. MC Name: yoku651

Mori Name: Isteth'Nar (Isteth for short)

Age (In Mori and Human): 50 (250 Human years)

    Mother's Name: Zauviir

Appreance: Isteth is 5'8" tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He was often called handsome throughout the cave, though there were times when he was called ugly. He has silver hair, but not completely grey. More like a slightly darkened white. His skin is a dark grey, and his eyes are a slightly dark purple. His clothes are brown themed and unlike most Mori, it covers quite some amount of skin, as he doesn't feel comfortable showing his body. Because of this, he was often thought of as weak.

    Brief History:

Isteth'Nar, born into the Commoners, lived a fairly easy early life with his older and younger brothers. He didn't do anything out of the normal for his infant-hood and most of his childhood. He was educated normally and did any work that was assigned. Late childhood is really when he started doing things ... different. He became very adventurous. He often ran off from work and explored parts of the cave that no other Mori really went to or was abandoned, though he wished he could explore the surface. The only problem with that of course is the wretched outsiders and sunlight, so Isteth stayed in the cave. Isteth was caught from time to time, but on unlucky occasions. Isteth was whipped for his actions, though he persevered through the pain.

Getting older, and a bit more mature, by the time he became almost a teenager, he didn't venture AS much, but he still did from time to time when he didn't feel like doing work or when he had nothing to do. But, these explorations went far beyond the cave. He sneaked out on very rare occasions to the surface, being sure to shield his eyes as much as possible. It took him two human years to get as used to the sunlight as a Mori could get. Now that he could see just enough, he decided to adventure, but still staying in the cave most of the time.

  9. *Yoku, taking a stroll around the Cloud Temple, notices the paper hanging on a wall. He walks up to it, rips it off the wall and reads it. He sighs and mumbles "Mutiny." as he comes across the word. A small tear falls from Yoku's face, and in a second his expression changes from sadness to anger. He rips up the paper and throws the shreds off the temple into the water below. He runs off towards the docks and disappears over the hill*
