I am a 15 year old boy who loves playing Video games, American Football, and just having a good time. I attend High school in the United States of America.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

I could be on the server a good 15 hours a week at the least.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying is setting aside all of the outside world and focusing on a character(Mortimus for LotC) which is a new person that has a personality of their own, As well as a new background they are coming from, new job, etc. Basically Roleplaying is playing a specified role in which you interact and play with a community in.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I have had no experience Roleplaying sadly. I am learning though and I am getting pretty excellent at it.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

To me Meta-Gaming is taking advantages of other things and using it when your character shouldn't even know it. A great example of this is if on Teamspeak you figured out someone's account name and used it in-game.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

In a Roleplaying term, Power-Gaming is when you give an unrealistic option in Roleplaying. I will give an example. Sally and Jill are getting very angry at each other. Sally decides to cut off Jill's head with her feet, without giving Jill the option to do anything. It is like giving the character god-like powers. Now that sounds very silly but that is an example of it.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

From the videos I have seen on Youtube, This server looks like no other server I have laid my eyes upon. It is truly remarkable at all the creations you have in this server and the thriving community I have seen.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have played on the Windoom SMP Server, Survival Multiplayer got boring too me. It is a bit repetitive. That's why I want to join this server so I can start a experience like no other.

I step in from the hard rain into a unique, little tavern I found just outside of Arethor. I wipe off my drenched, thick brown hair as I walk to the bar to sit down and take a rest from the long day of traveling I have had. I see alot of faces looking to see who I was. The bartender asks me,"Ah a new traveler I see? My name is Bartimus, How may I help ye?" I reply," Yes nice to meet you Bartimus, I have been searching for fresh land to settle down at to start my house. Today has been very tiring. May you get me a cup of the best ale you got?" "Sure mate coming right up." Bartimus replies. I look in the mirror to see my face, a Long, stern looking face with blue eyes and very thin cheeks. I notice I have thick, grey bags under my eyes,"This will be my only drink, I need to get to bed soon, I am very tired from the day I have had."" Ok well, you need to tell me about yourself, Will ye do that?".I reply,"Sure I will, I will be more then happy to."

"Mortimer Montague, That's what they call me. I am around the age of 23 about now." I say to Bartimus."Nice name, Go on please." "You can see, I am very tall and strong since I have been plowing the fields ever since I was 14." I say in confidence."Well that's very nice please keep going sir." "Ok I will tell you a good bit of my story, How about that?" I reply."Sure mate, I got all night."

I was born in a wealthy household. I grew up living a great life, getting to travel to various places in Asulon. Most people can say I was a very lucky boy, and others are very jealous of me because of my lifestyle. I was born in a halfing town called Branborough. My parents were stopping through and my mom suddenly had to stop and had me on the street corner. I was raised in a very wealthy household. My dad was a wheat farmer and my mom stayed at home. My whole life I have been a short and stout little boy, but as I started working in the farms more when I grew older, That changed. 1 day though changed my whole life as I know it.

I awoke one morning when I was the age of 9. Something seemed out of place when I went into the din and the fire wood in the fireplace wasn't burning. My parents Edwin and Alvina were nowhere to be seen. I started to call my father and mother's name, "Edwin my father where are you!" Their was no answer. I frantically start running around the estate shouting for my parents, but still no answer. I am running through the wood when I see the barn door cracked open with a handprint of blood on the

door. I am very hesitant not knowing what will happen I start to go towards the door.

I get enough courage to run in the barn even if those thieves are in their. I burst the doors open and to my surprise I see a infestation of giant 4 foot spiders surrounding Edwin. I scream to my astonishment and run out of the barn, slamming the big, red doors behind me. I start running to my family members house who are my neighbors. I approach this castle like house and see my mother, Alvina sitting by the front door crying.I walk up to her and ask,"What has happened mother? Have you seen what has happened to father?" She replies back,"Yes I was with you father when we went out to the barn. We had to clean out the stables and We started cleaning them out when we hit a spider nest below the barn. The spiders came out and grabbed Edwin's leg. He couldn't move and I tryed pulling him to me, but it didn't work. The spiders were too strong for me. So I ran over here for help and our family wasn't over here so I just sat here and weeped."

"That's the last I remember of what my mother said." I say. I start to tear up in my eyes and have to rush out of the tavern to stop myself from crying. Bartimus runs out with me and says,"I'm hear for ye If you need any help." Bartimus hands me a rusty old key."Here, this is your room for you to stay in tonight. Go get yourself some rest, You will need it tomorrow morning." I reply back,"Thanks Bartimus, See you tomorrow morning." I rush to my room and get into bed to fall asleep like a baby.

What is your Character's ambitions?:

First, I would like to make my beautiful and magnicificent farms.Growing up with a dad as a farmer, I have the farmer's blood running through my veins. After I have made my farms and I start reaping all my crops I would like to work alot of my estate. Having an estate has been my dream ever since I was the age of 6 when I would go see my aunt Muriel's estate and gaze at the stupendous house she had sitting on top of the mountain she owned. Last off, Once my farming career was through with, I would like to move close to the heartland of Asulon. I would love seeing all the great views that the cities have to offer, as well as the plentiful amount of shops and taverns I could visit.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

My favorite tool is the sturdy Hoe. I say this because I use this tool every day of my life and it helps me get through alot such as making me those much needed minas.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

Farming is my most skilled talent, the Farmer's experience has been passed on to me from my father.

Other Information about your Character: I have a fear of spiders because of what happened when I was a young boy.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

I decide, I don't need to get my self in trouble and get robbed as well. The thieves approach me with glaring eyes, I start to panic and scream ,"Get away from me you dirty thieves!". They grin at each other and charge towards me! With the best of my ability, Swiftly take off and go through a nearby forest. I swing onto one of the branches and sit calmly until they pass under me.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

I view his various wares, Seeing his wonderful crops he has for sale I barter with him with my crops I grow at home. He agrees and we start to talk with each other. While he is explaining his life story I think to myself," What an incredible life Bartimus has had". I stay overnight at a nearby hotel and leave the next morning.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

As I approach the chest, I look to my left and right, Viewing any suspicious activity I see. I open the rugged, old chest and see a great amount of loot inside it. I start to hear whispering right as I shut the chest. This startles me so I take off on foot without the items and get back to a nearby village I had stayed in the night before.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

After many tired days of wandering around in Aegis looking for a village to settle into, I approach a small trading outpost. I hesitantly run to it and suprisingly walk in to a camp full of nasty orcs. They don't like my presence and start to chase me out of the woods. "The Orcs massive size can never beat my quickness", I think to myself as I run into a small cave on the side of a mountain.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

I, knowing what is for the good of the people, help my fellow town members slay the bandits. We gather in front of the town square and start heading up the road to them. We approach outnumbering every bandit 2 to 1. The bandits appearing very frightened start to attack us.We slay every one of them to the best of our ability. We run back to the town to bring the good news and celebrate all night long.

Mortimer Montague, That's what they call me. I am around the age of 23 about now. "What an adventure I have had", I tell to Bartimus, my newly met friend. We are sitting in a tavern, waiting for the rain to stop pouring down." Aw I didn't get to hear ye'. May ye tell it again to me?" The local blacksmith,Anselm says. I plan to start my trading empire and open up various farming shops throughout the land of Aegis. I intend to do no harm to any of the various faces I may come across in my time.

The sturdy Hoe. This tool will be my backbone, My new life will await me when I use it. I will do much good with it, I carry it with me everywhere I go.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

The skill I have mastered is Herbalism. We Humans know how to plow the land and plant crops on to it.
