Greetings, I am Emberhard, I played from Aegis-Anthos. The whole time as one character, an elf, and almost all these screenshots are from that perspective.
Text describing the photo(s) (if any) will be place above the photo(s) it is describing.
If you are lucky to some of them I might even add some forgotten/obscure history you can't find anywhere else (Aside from Emberhard's own lips that is)
Aegis
The cloud temple (off to the right you can see the wall of the human refugee camp, displaced there due to the hordes of Iblees)
The Warden fort, I don't remember if it had a name.
Laurelin neighborhoods.
I think some important wedding was held here, I don't recall.
The streets of Laurelin
The ship Ravenhold
The mining city of Ravenhold (after being a but roughed up by the undead)
The main keep of the White Raven guild.
During the late Aegis thru early Asulon period the White Ravens were the largest guild in LoTC. Committed to ending the undead threat they were the first to commit to the doctrine of uniting all races against ultimate evil. For a time in early Asulon the guild held the highest density of magic wielders and was the place to go in order to learn the craft. However with the undead threat gone and crumbling leadership the guild faded into obscurity about 50 years after setting foot in Asulon.
Corvus Animus, the first town I governed
The town was originally the fort of a trading guild. After being abandoned for a while it was annexed by the White Ravens to house the civilian sector of the Guild and act as any other township would.
To the left is the main gates and the market district. Stone building in the back mid-left is the keep & my office. Right side is the housing district (guess which one is mine). To the very far right is the Laurelin-Ravenhold railway.
My office
The farms
Back view of the town
And idk what this is, got it from another person
The Verge
The White Raven stronghold, fort Ultimum Stabit
The Verge was known for being an incredibly unforgiving environment, with literal herds of spiders, blazes, and zombies roaming the land day and night. Prior to the Agean evacuation there, it was the only known permanent settlement.
The main entrance
In the leftmost tower you can see Barias, a dwarf, fellow Raven, and my partner in building the fort.
Dream world event
Just some screens of that dream world that occurred when the server borked, don't have much to say about these.
Asulon
The Island nation of Holm (http://wiki.lordofthecraft.net/Holm ) of which I was Lord of the farms
A square with my windmill house in the back.
Entrance to the farms
The windmill, originally not built by my, I built my house atop.
Malinor
Fresh off the fast travel boat
Oren, busting down the gates (these particular imagines thanks to Twilight aka Titania) Just outside loading range you can see the main isle of Malinor.
Coast of the elven peninsula. Here you can see a druidic monument.
Kharajyr temple steps
The Soggy Mustache brewery I built on a spring in the Sunmoth desert. Located in the duchy of Aubergne after I defected from Holm.
The basement, where the real magic happened.
Anthos
First elven capital of Luminaire/Lumalin.
Me (as a Prince), and Titania (recently appointed as foreman) went ahead as the advanced elven scouting party to Anthos, aside from the giant trees she and I built most of the city.
Front gates of the city. This particular shot thanks to Resperin.
The city by night while still in construction
upper class district in mid construction
The supports for the council chambers
The Redwood manor
Three manors were originally built in the city as my gift the the other members of the high council. The Birchwood, Oakwood, and Redwood, the last of which went to myself and Titania.
Me indulging in some ridiculous computer killing shaders
http://i1014.photobucket.com/albums/af262/emberhard/lotc/2013-11-07_142747_zps3a2b4d42.png
My favorite neighborhood of the city. Titania made the houses wrapping around the trees, and in the center I did the park with a birch willow engulfed by a stream.
Groundview shot of the willow
The high council chambers to the right, and to the left the aforementioned Birchwood manor.
The highclass district with the library located dead center
Titania(center) teaching an elven speaking class in a packed library
Random shot
A wedding
An awesome cut away shot I was able to get of the tavern thanks to a load error
House built in New Malinor
The ever important "micro" brewery in the new house
Elven river fort
Titania playing in the rafters of Embertree Brewery
Posing for a picture in my newly acquired cloud temple tavern
Ol'treehugger shooting off fireworks at a festival in Lenfarthing
Storm's Crossing before it was pumped full of dwarven roids
The High Council
This is a chronicle of events I captured thru screenshot as a Prince of the High Council of Malinor. I served from the end of Asulon, thru to mid Anthos.
Meeting with the Orcish warchief to reforge the Elven-Orcish aliance from Aegis.
From left to right: Prince I don't remember, Princess Titania, me, and Prince Oceas.
This was during a ~70yr period in which there was no high prince/princess. High prince Koylat faded into the abyss, and the High council engaged in an experiment in which there was no figurehead in the Malinor state.
A meeting with the Oren house of Ishawka (I know I butchered the spelling, going off memory here).
Left to right: Two house Nobles, Ambassador Avern, Princess Titania, I don't remember, and me.
Me (far right) giving some speech atop the fallen statue to Malin
The coronation of Titania to High Princess, located on the Malinor docks.
Idk what this was but its a cool shot of Titania and I
Titania and I interviewing Ambassador Avern to ascend to princehood.
Titania, me, and the commander of the Sentinels negotiate at the Cloud Temple with the White Rose.
The dissolvement of the Holy Oren Empire
World leaders discussing the threat of the North
The Keg
This is just cool shots of the ship I built, skip at your leisure.
(The body is based heavily off someone else's but I added onto it a ton)
In construction at Holm.

This add is based off Titania
This one is based off Ol'Treehugger, my partner in brewing
Based off Emberhard (duh)
This is not meant to represent anyone in particular, just an add.
This is an add made by a friend of Barias that never made it to the final cut

(( I am being told there is some confusion on how invasion wars work. You can't just have one war and claim victory over the whole nation. The first battle must be held on the closest adjacent territory to you that is owned by Malinor. After that it is a battle for the next adjacent territory and so forth on to each individual territory in that nation. A war of invasion was not meant to be easy because realistically it isn't. Its many bloody battles over small areas of land one after another until they are all taken or one side goes kaput ))

*Fresh, new posters appear in place of the old ones which have most definitely been ripped down, covered up, or succumb to the elements. These new posters would list the coming of a new ale! Roseglow Wine!*

Emberhard strokes his mustache reading it over. Speaking the last part out loud
"The White Ravens!?"
Grunts slightly in disgust, making his way towards the dubbed 'Ravenhold'.

I'd say tie, even with all the hacking and rumors and butt-hurt etc. the way I heard it was the rebels put up a jolly good fight, and even though Oren had the last men standing, it was not by much.

All sides are more or less at fault here, including us.
- The elves need to man the heck up, half their reasoning for trolling them, is because they -know- it will make a scene. They -know- they will get a reaction out of them, and that's how they get their cheep kicks.
- The humans need to be slapped. They are allowing their OOC dislike of elven RPs and their want to get a reaction out of them bleed into their RP. Their attitude OOCly, ICly and on the forums towards the elves (and sorta towards us) is absolutely deplorable.
- We (that's right) need to stop holding the elves to a higher standard than the humans as players. We've been letting the humans get away with so much stupid sh!t just because its come to be expected of them its shameful.
So, we allow them their camp (not calling it death camp) but we tell them, that they need to get their wretched act together. Remind them this is a cooperative RP experience. If they treat it as a trolly just to piss off the elves death camp. We pull the plug. They step out of line and make another "lol elves suck" status update or flame post, we pull the plug. Basically yes we give it to them, but when we do we put the fear of god into them that the moment they screw up, its gone, and maybe some of their players as well.

Emberhard pokes his head curiously out from below deck of his ship. He eyes move from left right scanning what lay before him as flakes fall just before his nose.
“Oh ho ho…”a soft hearty chuckle escapes his lips with the several puffs of his breath visible in the air before him. An amused smirk meets the chuckle with a mischievous glint in his eye as he walks across the deck, gangplank and onto shore. The snow crunches below his boots, as Emberhard moves to descend upon the whitewashed new Malinor….

Emberhard wanders up to the poster, scowling at it as he scans it. He proceeds to rip it down a swell as any others he finds as he wanders through the city.

Posters and fliers are posted all about public locations in Anthos, the paper its printed on smelling of liquor.
Two brewers, who rival only each other in age and experience, have combined minds to produce ale so good even the Anguels demand their share. Utilizing techniques from Petyr (along with eons of experience and testing), ranks them and their brews as legends amongst all Brewers!
♤ Embertree Lager ♤
The most hardy of drinks for anyone new or old to the game. Nothing beats the ageless classic of this smooth, bitter ale.
- 15 ₥ for one bottle (3)
- 320 ₥ for one large keg (64)
-960 ₥ for three large kegs (192)
♕Absinthe♕
One of the best sinful creations of the age old brewers, Absinthe is elven gold. The green natural-liquorice like nectar will quell anyone’s sweet tooth, with the strength and effect to calm the nerves of the hardiest gentlemen. We do warn you though, this may be slightly addictive, causing you to feel at peace with the world, and those around you may become increasingly attractive.
Absinthe is bottled at almost perfect purity so it is highly suggest that it is watered down prior to serving. It is also traditionally served with a lump of sugar, though its the drinker’s choice.
- 24 ₥ for one bottle of elven day’s age (3)
- 512 ₥ for one large keg of elven week’s age (64)
-1536 ₥ for three large kegs of varying ages (192)✥Embertree Whiskey✥
The brew that made drinking dangerous.
This true gentleman's drink is best complimented with high grade smokes and facial hair, bar fights and female escorts optional.
- 18 ₥ for one bottle (3)
- 420 ₥ for one large keg (64)
-1100 ₥ for three large kegs (192)◈ Desert Rose Bourbon ◈
This dry liquor stings the throat as it goes down. Providing quite the kick this invigorating brew would almost leave you wide eyed and stunned if not for its electrifying effect.
- 18 ₥ for one bottle (3)
- 420 ₥ for one large keg (64)
-1100 ₥ for three large kegs (192)♔ Embertree Roseglow Wine ♔
This sweet wine’s main ingredient, honey, causes it to run rather thicker than most other drinks. While still runny enough to quench your thirst and your sweet tooth, it will leave in its wake the traditional tang of a perfectly aged wine. Traditionally complimented with a rose, or rose petals.
- 18 ₥ for one bottle (3)
- 420 ₥ for one large keg (64)
-1100 ₥ for three large kegs (192)
To order any of these fine beverages contact Master Brewer Emberhard (emberhard). ((you may send a bird ingame, or send one via posting below))
More brews will be coming in the future as we are always hard at work to usher forth the best in quality ales, liquors, wines, and spirits.
*all bottles of Embertree ale will have the Embertree logo (see top) imprinted in the glass*7 -
By filling
out this application I fully understand that it is an application for the
purpose of applying for the role of Game Master and nothing else. I understand
that this application does not and will not count as a Forum Moderator
Application or a Whitelisting Application of any sort for the Lord of the Craft
server. You also understand that you must resign from any 'high-ranking'
in-game leadership positions e.g. Kingship, Military Commanders upon
acceptance.Real Name: -snip-
Roleplaying Name: Emberhard
MineCraft Name: emberhard
Joined Server: October 2011
Age: 18Time Zone: EST
Hours Available:
~2-6 depending on the
day.Do you assume any leadership roles in
game?I was a mayor twice, military commander, prince of Malinor, and
captain of a ship. All roles of which save for being captain I no longer hold.Experience:
I have been an admin on two public servers, one of which I owned and was
just a free build sort of thing, the other which was a PVP faction sort of
server (both no longer existing). I will also frequently boot up my own
personal server when I want to play with a few friends so I am quite
experienced with buckkit plugins, commands, regions, world edit, etc. I was
also dev builder for 3.0, myself being one of the primary builders for Malinor,
and that along with being a prince for a very long time I had the pleasure of
working very closely with a lot of server staff.Reasons to be a Game Moderator:
So, to put it simply I would like to help the server and Rpers within. Those who know me will know that I do not go out and actively strive for positions of power, yet I will gladly assume one if it
is wished of me or I if see myself capable and a need to be filled. I would like to think myself as a patient person with the ability to control myself and be unbiased. A happy disposition
is something I think very important among the staff and that is something I
think I hold.As I said before, I see myself as capable, with the knowledge of
server dynamics and the healthy distance of patient unbiased aspects a GM
should hold.As a GM, what area's would you like to focus on?
I personally think I would be best suited for taking care of modreqs.
Specifically ones concerning server mechanics such as LWC, regioning,
falsebook/craftbook, and anything else of that nature that I can offer my
expertise on. Though I would be open to all the server I would like to
specifically offer myself to Malinor, not to be a biased, pet GM, but since the
loss of Oceas it has suffered greatly in getting small, trivial GM-y things
done such as regioning homes.Players which you conflict with:
I did once have a bit of a falling out with Decolamb and others whom no longer
play, but I believe we have moved passed that and its all water under the
bridge now. A sever experience I would like to say I learned a valuable lesson
from.I was a dreadful newb when I first joined and I
did rub some of the Dark Brotherhood the wrong way, though just as above all
water under the bridge, lesson learned.Any other information you would like to share:
I know you fine folk like to see something long
and well thought out for applications, it shows responsibility, dedication,
professionalism, but I am not a man of many words. Though with that I can
assure you that I take care with the thoughts I do bother to publish and that a
finite sentence holds just as much meaning as a big fluffy paragraph would.I’m also fairly handsome.
(I was told that all apps were denied to clean out this forum. So I just copy-pastad this since seemingly no real verdict was given. If it is otherwise PM me and I will handle it accordingly)0 -
Emberhard stands on the deck of his ship moored at the Malinor docks. He holds several lines within his hand twirling them about as he explains a multitude knots to the cabin boy, Hour. The two make preparations for a several day voyage in which Emberhard will teach the young lad the basics of sailing on his new found home of The Keg. The vessel almost seams to ache with anticipation as the two idly waist time, not knowing of the coming storm.

Emberhard, also now an ex-prince sits peacefully upon a bench in Malinor, ale flask in hand. His eyes are locked in a glassy 1000 yard stare into oblivion.
A look of simple content upon his face...
As slowly,
darknes fades in...as his story and the inner working of his mind begins to manifest....
But then he snaps out of it.
Remembering that his story is so long that even he has stopped bothering to count the years past.
That the inner working of his mind, which some call brilliance, and others madness....'tis on second thought....a rather silly place.

* Though no longer Prince, Emberhard strolls about still quite content to see to posters about Malinor...

*Emberhard tracks down the tavern, he strolls in looking quite curiously about the place. Reaching into this coat he pulls out a rolled up parchment which he slides to the opposite side of the bar, for the proprietor or anyone of significance to find. *

*The outside of the letter is sealed with green wax, and written upon the outside it reads: "To those whom encroach upon the land of Malin's children, and quarrel their druidic brothers and sisters."
Should you open it, you would find it reads:"I am supprised.
Not long ago it was you who came to us in a meeting with the expressed purpose of trying to re-establish good relations with us. The core purpose of course which was to get on our good side so that we may be more willing to see to your land needs. Your recent actions however have been steering you in quite the opposite direction. I am disappointed. It was you who came to us preaching how we as kin should not banter in such a manor. I was looking forward to seeing cooperation as I listened to the High Princess agree to be more cooperative between our, now unfortunately two peoples. Remember it was you who separated yourselves and wished to be sovereign. We will not turn a blind eye to further antics. This one is on the house, in the name of our kinship and hopes for a better future. I implore you not to turn this into something we will both regret. "
*The letter is not signed, though it is implied that its origin would be rather obvious.2
