I would like to work as a guard. I recently joined the server and I want to be part of something. The skills are currently disabled/broken (I'm not sure) so until this point I haven't raised a single skill. ^^

Experience with other groups in Aegis: I'm very new to Aegis so I haven't worked with any groups yet.

I'm not in the application team, but I'll tell you my opinion if you don't mind. Its a good app, but you need to correctly define what roleplaying is. Also try to add more detail to your biography and make it a little longer. :wink:

-What do you know about roleplaying?: I have played NWN online as a roleplayer. I have been doing that for around a year. Roleplay is like when you were a kid, you could be anyone or anything you wanted. You could have an accent, walk on your hands, wear a cape and mask, anything. It grants you freedom. You can call me Thorn.

-What do you expect this server will be like?: A great, kindly server, who’s players are friendly to each other. Also a great RP experience.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Only yogiverse and private servers for my friends and me.I don't plan on actually leaving them either, it's just that they don't RP and I'd like to give it a try.

-Character Name: Nordak Thornbeard

-What is your Race?: A 5ft war machine! Proud to be a dwarf!

-Biography: Nordak's father worked as a woodcutter, making him more skilled and strong, though still poor. Later, when Nordak was born he worked as a guard in Kal'Urguan Guard for several years and was injured on the job by an undead attack. He eventually died from the injuries. As a child ,Nordak lived a normal life. His mother taught him right from wrong and insisted he read anytime he could. When his father died Nordak was already fifteen. Several months after his father's death Nordak began his working life as a Blacksmith apprentice. There ,he learned about the art of iron smithing but his dream was to become a guard, like his father.

Five years have passed since his father's death and Nordak grew and became strong. He started making his own weapons and ,of course his first axe, the same weapon that his father used to wield. Since his father's death ,Nordak was training every day for many hours and improved skill and technique with the sword and his battle axe. Several times Nordak tried to impress the guards, and performed his fighting skills in front of them ,but it wasn't enough for them. One day he said to himself,"I'll go through one more year like this, and then leave. I'll travel the world, and one day I'll come back to fulfill my dream. I will not be just become a plain guard of this city, but their Captain!"

The year have passed ,and Nordak was ready to start his journey! "World of Aegis, Here I come!"

-Character Age: The average age for a dwarf is 253 ,so he is still too young, only 21 years old.

-Character Appearance: At 5 feet, 5 inches, he is taller than most dwarfs. A stout and sturdy dwarf with a "thorny" black beard and dense black hair. His eyes are dark green and he is almost always in a plain iron armor and wields that old iron axe. It's not the fanciest armor, and looks quite cracked and ragged, but he manages to get by and stay alive.

-Character Personality: Tough, hard working and independent.

-Your ambitions: To become a member of the Dwarven Legion to help fight off the Undead. Therefore, he is too young to know who he is and what he want to achieve.

-Can your character read or write?: He can read but not write.

-Can your character mine?: Yes, he can, shouldn't be a big deal with those musculus arms.

-Are you a capable builder?: He doesn't quite understand the concept of building. He can only build basic shelters.

-Can you wield a sword?: He wields an axe in battle but he is also pretty decent with a sword. He uses his bow for hunting purposes only.

-Enjoy Farming?: If asked, he'd find it boring.

-Does your character have any special skills?: Good at wilderness survival.

Common reasons people are denied:

-It has bad grammar or Punctuation.

-Your biography was too short.

-Your Biography didn't link to the lore of Aegis.

-You obviously didn't read the lore.

-Fix the layout: This could be from having bolds everywhere or simply being hard to read.

-It lacked effort.

-Your skin isn't RP.

-Needed an actual picture of your skin.

-You didn't include a skin link or it didn't work.

-Your application was too short.
