What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:Roleplaying is becoming an entirely different person in an entirely different place in an entirely different situation. It means transforming yourself into something new, something different, something fantastical.
In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is in any way acknowledging that you are in a game. This includes the in character use of out of character knowledge, the use of minecraft specific phrases such as "10/10 hearts" and "a stack of..." Powergaming is going out of realistic rp for the sake of progressing your character.
What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server to have rp on a much larger scale than that with which I have experience.
What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I am currently head admin of gemini server(creative/survival server) and I am a part of Overture(rp server). I have not as of yet left any of them, but I am in the process of stepping down from gemini server due to its lack of serious rp. I have had a few issues with the way Overture is run.

Character Name: Namerion Delgoth
What is your Race?: Dark Elf
Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Namerion was born the son of a low ranking member of The Wardens. He learned to fight at a young age, and at the age of 36(elf years), left Laurelin to seek his fortune. He spent 30 years wandering the lands of Aegis, learning all he could in the arts of combat, diplomacy, and strategy. He has had many run-ins with the undead, and he remains both wary of them, and respectful of their power. He is gray-skinned with dark hair. He has dark purple eyes, one of which has a scar running around it. He carries a sword and a bow wherever he goes, although he prefers to use the sword, he finds the bow useful at excessive range. He is a risk-taker, and has been known to make rash decisions on the spur of the moment. He tries to remain friendly with everyone, but if aggravated he will not hesitate to attack. Under stress, he shifts nervously from foot to foot, but otherwise shows no sign of being anything but calm.
Your characters ambitions: While Namerion is motivated by a desire for both wealth and power, he nurtures an overwhelming thirst for adventure. Combined with a strong sense of curiosity, and a perhaps unhealthy belief in his own abilities, he often finds himself in difficult situations. He labels himself an adventurer.
Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? He first tries to break up the fight. Failing that, he viciously attacks whichever side he views as being in the wrong, whether or not they actually are.
Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? "Hail Shopkeep!" he says. "Show me your wares." After seeing the shopkeeper's wares, he would conversationally ask "How have you managed to evade the mass of undead present in this place?"
