Your Name ((RP and MC)): Moruk Frostbeard (Payed_Legend)

    Race: Mountain Dwarf

  2. Moruk lowers his head in silence after hearing the news of his brothers death. He slowly crosses out another name from a stone wall, making him one of the last of the children of Karl. A tear makes its way down his wrinkled face. " Ah will see ye soon in Khaz'a'dentrumm me brother, per'aps we can properleh meet. "

  3. The old Dwarf slowly pins a notice on the Goldhand's board, barely managing to hammer the nail due to his extremely old age.

" Be wary young Goldhand leader... this Toran Goldhand you are unbanishing is me nephew, never have I met a more deceitful young lad! He tricked the nation into believing the Goldhand clan were traitors long ago! Be very careful around him, although he was me brother Gorum Frostbeard's son, you should still be very cautious if you choose to unbanish him. I recommend tossing him out like the trash he is and allowing the frostbeards to deal with him, but the choice is yours young lad. " - Signed Moruk Frostbeard, Former Goldhand, Elder of the Frostbeards

  4. "Gorum was never a real Gold'and. 'E was simply blooded into tae Clan fer tae time bein' as tae Frostbeards split up and went t'eir different ways after tae landin' on Asulon. After t'at Arteh lad came beck in Anthos, Gorum went beck to 'is birthed clan an' used tae last name Frostbeard instead 'o Gold'and. I am also nae sayin' that Gold'ands 'ur entitled to such a t'ing, but I am simply goin' tae say that Gorum 'ad nae real respect fer tae art 'o merchantin'. 'E accumulated t'at wealth fer 'imself, an' tae Frostbeards until 'e disappeared wit' his fortune, as well as 'is clan an' in tae end did nae contribute nothin' to tae empire at tae time."

"Thoak ah don' know where this came frum but it be all wrong. Ah was with Gorum almost all th' time, 'e and I did nothin' but put that wealth towards the Nation. Ye think the Kings paid soldiers? Nae, it was Gorum throwin' mina around tu th' Grand marshal tu pay his lads, it was Gorum whu was buyin' all th' iron an' weapons from other nations and throwin' em at th' legion. Not tu mention, it wus Gorum and I whu got Alras fer th' Dwarven nation in th' first place. We didn' keep it fer ourselves an' disappear, because ov what we did Kal'Alras came tu be. If ah'm nae mistaken, th' Goldhands were ah lost clan before Gorum and I retrieved ye and brought ye back tu th' empire. We found Gulroid an' Rasun in th' wilds isolated from everythin'. Whu cares about enthusiasm fer th' art ov merchantin', it's about what was actually accomplished an' done! Ah respect Rasun an' Gulroid more than ye know, but ah cannae just agree with ye when ye try to throw everythin' Gorum fer no reason whatsoever. Even before 'e died 'e gave away land and mina loike it was candy! May 'e rest in Khaz'a'dentrumm. Jus' because th' Gol'and culture revolved around merchanting, doesn' give ye any entitlement tuwards th' title. There is nobodeh whu can compare tu Gorum in terms o' wealth and contribution with th' wealth, ah welcome ye tu provide me with ah better example ov ah lad."

  5. A hooded Dwarf receives the great news shortly after winning his tenth gambling match for the day.

" Ye hear that brother? It's about time eh... "

He says to another hooded Dwarf while tossing him a share of the winnings. The other Dwarf chuckles as he downs his mug of ale.

" Aye... It'll make get quite the reunion har har! "

Both Dwarves stand up and exit tavern as two maids carry their extra long togas behind them.

  6. Moruk grumbles, looking at the mess the beardlings of his time caused.

" I will drink me ale, I will nay slay a kin nor slay a comrade. I will not support anyone fer ye both break the law the elder Dwarves have lain before ye

Damn beardlin's...ye all fail tu realize who yer real enemy is, and as foreign as it may sound to all ov ye, YER KIN AIN'T YER ENEMY! "

Bardel Thorak looks out across the cold, icy rooftops of Vaer'haven then down to the crowd he has drawn. Standing there watching them. Seeing them shiver in the cold he feels like he once felt when he fought for the Legion. Great and powerful; A tall and mighty Giant.

He breathes harshly in the nose biting winds before he opens his mouth to speak in his Dwarf accent

((I didn't make it Dwarven so its easier to read.))

"Brothers and sisters. You come here today to listen, to gain hope.

You are scared. Scared for your town, your homes, Your hold.

Scared that your children will grow up with the name 'Anarchist' upon there head.

I understand you are scared. I understand you."

He pauses and takes a few short steps to his left before turning his small body back to face them

"Do not fear these Dwarfs for they are the ones who granted you home in the first place. Without them you would have no home right now.

The very stone you stand on would not exist.

But now they. Them who helped the mighty Jarl of the past Ferron show us warmth. They want to drive our brothers and sisters out!"

He coughs and splutters before continuing

"They! Wish to tear Vaer'haven in half!"

An Angry gruff tone apears in Bardel's voice

"They! Want to destroy everything Ferron spent his last years Building!

They want to defile what he held dear!

    Anarchists or no Anarchists!

The Fallen and everyone else they wish to attack are, as Ferron taught you, your Brothers. Your sisters! They are your Family!

Are you just going to sit in fear whilst they destroy your family!

I will tell you I am not! I am not going to let them!

And If it ends with us having to fight for our homes then so be it!

For if we don't the Legion will take your friends' homes!

Kardel may wish to hand over the 'Anarchists', he may not. But if he does he is going against everything that his close friend taught and that; that is the sign of a coward!

I am no traitor! But sure as hell I am not going to let my friends get hurt!"

He stops speaking with succession of coughs before climbing down off the Banister he was stood on and into the Inn.

" The Dwarves that assisted Ferron and Vaerhaven, helping It become what it is today, are no longer here. Those were different dwarves in a different time. I'm not taking any sides, jus' sayin truth. Don't base the Dwarves who helped Vaerhaven off ov the current Dwarves. "

  8. Bazian jumps into the conversation.

"Do ye 'ave ears dat 'ear, er do yah jus' generalize everyfin'. Elves did betray us 'n th' past, but who comes tew say dat dese elves are ov th' same bloodloine, eh? Can yah tell meh dat dese elves on th' council in particular  'ave dun yah sum wrong in dere loives er dere ancestors?"

Moruk shakes his head once more.

" I don't blame you for saying this, but ye havent been around much lately Bazian. When ye see an Elvish an Orcish battle alliance, an' watch dem throw out fuulish claims like the " Mali-Uzg ", den we will speak. I don' generalize shite, I speak from experience. Recent experience. Dis happened very, very recently, under th' current leaders. "

  9. *Yawns casually*

Unless our allies be the Orcs, the Elves nae be our enemies. In fact, they never were. Only the awful an' failin' governmen' uv there's was our enemy an' it be nae more.

    Moruk turns to Dun.

"Thats not th' case, don't neglect what happened in th' past. They lied to us, told us they would neva ally with Orcs! But dey did, dis be ah fuulish act. Not tu mention invitin' yer allies enemies and yer allies tu th' same place. Ye realleh need to think this through. Honor yer allies, and honor th' oathes of the brathmordakin.  "

~Accepted as a Shop Merchant, we will have a meeting about Head Merchant fella!

  13. What beh yer' name?

    Praxedis Goldhand

What position are yeh applyin' fer?

I'd like to be a Shop Merchant and/or a Travelling Salesman

Have yeh ever been a merchant?

Aye, I've been a merchant since the earliest days of Asulon. Before I returned to my dwarven homeland, I ran a sucessful mining shop in Hanseti. Once I moved back to the Kingdom, I ran another mining shop in Karik.

How long have yeh been in da' Kingdom?

As my family left the Kingdom while I was a young child, I lived among humans for many years. I returned to the Kingdom as an adult, about 60 or 70 years ago, back when Paragon Kjell ruled in Mount Ire. ((Late Spring / Early Summer 2012, IRL))

Why should yeh beh selected fer' dis position?

As a Goldhand, the merchant life flows in my veins with the blood of my fathers. I've a knack for the transformation of fine ores and minerals into minas. My two previous mining shops have both been successful, and I know I could do it again, either inside the bustling halls of Kal'Azgoth, or out in the world of the humans and elves, bringing the fruits of dwarven craftsmanship to the rest of Anthos for a tidy profit.

~ Accepted as a Shop Merchant!

  14. What beh yer' name?

    Kayne Goldhand

What position are yeh applyin' fer?

The position I'll be applying for is Head Merchant.

Have yeh ever been a merchant?

Aye, I've been a merchant all my life. Devoting my time to Armakak and his will.

How long have yeh been in da' Kingdom?

I'm 413 years old, and climbing! I wasn't introduced into the dwarven Kingdom until after the lands of Aegis I'm afraid. I'd say 300 years, more or less.

Why should yeh beh selected fer' dis position?

I believe I should be selected because I have the right mentality for a Head Merchant. I know how to give orders, but also know when to consult my higher ups. When I am un-sure of something, I'll always bring it to someone's attention and confirm, in the event I don't do that anyways. I also believe I should be selected for this prestigious position because of my vast amount of connections throughout the kingdoms. I am on very good terms with the Royal Family of Salvus, The Hightowers. This can serve well and open up a lot of trading opportunities for the Kingdom. On a side note Moruk, I do hope you see past my ignorance of words in the past, and urge you to let me serve by your side. I'd serve you with all the respect and life in my body. I'd never let you down!

~Ah Kayne, me and yeh will hav' a talk about dis' important position, ah shall speak tu' yeh!
