    What is your Race?: Dwarf

Biography(This should include the history of your

character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Tybar was born to Bazgen and Belbrina Copperleg 36 years ago. The Copperleg's were simple wheat farmers living several miles outside of Kal’Urguan. Tybar was a sickly child, due in part to his diet consisting of only bread and his poor living conditions. His home was nothing more than a wooden shack with a thin straw roof, just enough to keep the sun out but it did little to protect from rain. The stench inside the home was overwhelming, the floor was a mixture of mud, rotten food and ale.

Tybar was forced to work in the fields with his Mother and Father at an early age.The hours were long and the work hard, he rarely had time to himself. When he did he spent it trying to come up with way to make his life easier. His first invention was a system to automatically water the wheat fields. He created it by channeling a nearby river into a holding pond located on top of a small hill overlooking their farm. With a simple flick of a switch the flood gates opened and water rushed onto the field.

Several years past and things were going great for the small family. Due to the improvements in effiency the family was able to sell their excess wheat to the taverns in Kal’Urguan and bring home a small amount of minas on a regular basis. Tybar invested what little he could into his many inventions, which now overwhelmed their home. One night while his Mother was loading garbage into the incenirator, a brilliant invention in Tybar's eye. She slipped and fell 50 feet down the shaft onto a smoldering pile of garbage which quickly became submerged in lava.

Bazgen furious with the death of his wife and angry at the inventions he didn't understand became tearing through the house smashing Tybar's beloved possessions. Tybar pleaded with him to stop by Bazgen was engraged and paid no attention. Hours past, Tybar afraid of his father and distraught over the loss of his mother, lay curled up in a ball in the corner of the house. After Bazgen had finish smashing all of Tybar's belongings inside the home he staggered drunk outside. There remains only one last thing to destroy, the flood gates. Bazgen stumbled up the hill and began smashing the contraption with his hoe. Tybar drawn outside by the noise, began begging his father to stop. In a foolish attempt to prevent his father from destroying his last invention Tybar flipped the lever that controlled the gate. The pistons retracted and severed Bazgen left leg. Tybar rushed to help him but Bazgen wanted nothing to do with him and dishoned Tybar. He told him to leave and never return.

Tybar grabbed what little food he could and headed off into the mountains, not knowing if his father would live or die. It's been almost 10 years since that day. Tybar now a reculse lives in a small cave and has little interaction with the outside world. When he does go to town he can often be found lurking in the shadows. His head cloaked in shadow by a hood and his face covered by a mask. Both of which had seen better days, their color once black have faded to grey and both had holes worn into them. He is generally fearful of people, and prefers to hide or run away instead of fighting.

Your characters ambitions: To be recognized as the master mechanic he thinks he is.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? Tybar quickly ducks behind the nearest tree and attempts to come up with a plan to rescue the elf. Knowing all to well that he stands no chance against the bandits even with the aid of the elf. He begins to rummage through his cart desperately looking for something he can use to his advantage. After several minutes he yells out "Ah-HAH" and pulls out a rusty dispenser. The look of overwhelming success is quickly removed from his face and replaced with that of terror. Afraid that his outburst has lead to his discovery, Tybar ducks low to the ground and peers out from behind the tree.

Two bandits had turned into four, the elf was now surrounded and bleeding heavily from his right leg. The bandits attention was still focused solely on the elf. Tybar pulls back behind the tree and whispers to himself "With this dispenser, I'll...I'll create a canon, a canon and shoots...pork....no, arrows!" He slowly and quietly begins to empty his cart of his remaining belongings, a few pistons, a lever, an iron bar, some pork and a collection of colored wool. Tybar quickly tosses the dispenser onto the cart and attaches the lever to the top of it. A few pulls of the lever to make sure functions. He seems quick please with the click, click, click noise his contraption make. "Ok, right, now all I have to do is round the tree pull this lever 4 times and collect my reward." Tybar thought to himself. Right before he rushed out a look of disappointment came across his face. "...Stupid, what good is an arrow canon without arrows" In defeat he packs up his belonging and retreats into the shadows leaving the elf to certain death.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Eh errr um, I've broken one of my pistons and am in need of a replacement parts.
