I'm a high school student, who does computer programming and sports (Track and Field at the moment). I love to roleplay online because it gives me the opportunity to experience a sort of life that does not currently exist, or at least that I haven't found yet.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

Most likely from 28-32 hours.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying is creating, living, and communicating with others in a life that has spawned from your imagination (Oh, what a powerful tool she is). You more than not are with a community that has structured rules and history/lore, therefore your character must meet these standards be an active part of this, "Realm", so to speak.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:

I have been a part of several roleplaying communities, in GMOD and Minecraft, and have even had some experience as a member of the administrative staff.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:

Meta-Gaming is when your character acts on information that he does not know in RP. Examples would be OOC, Vent, Skype, or coordinates in game that your character could not find by appropriate means.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is:

Power-Gaming is having a character of a supreme level, to powerful to be realistic or incorporate with the lore. Such things include killing out of RP to boost stats, or by being, "Invincible", or "All-Powerful". This not only creates a bad example for others, but it annoys those who have to deal with said person of unlimited power.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

Like the lore, and other information noted on the Wiki.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I played on The D3vine, Noblox, KX, and a little Aceon, and many others. I left them out of frustration with incompetent staff members, or they simply faded into a state that couldn't be played (Never updated or everyone else left).

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:

Yes I have. I like structure/order. It makes me feel a certain peace of mind.

Deyaresu Tamashi is his name, and he carries it with pride, for a fathers greatest gift is to have a son.

He is a Human.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Let me start off with a writers note. This is going to be a long, detailed biography. If you wish to criticize/compliment me on my writing skills and not the context itself, please message me or post on my profile. I love to become a better writer.

Now let's start.

Deyarasu Tamashi was born to the house of a long disfranchised noble. During his birth, his mother died of unknown reasons, so he never got the chance to meet her. He lived with his father and Older Sister, Reis, in the city of Arethor for the next 6 years. During this time, he lived a comfortable life with the remainder of his fathers wealth (A substantial amount to him). This peace came to an end, as all good things do, when a member of the Cathedral Priests accused his father of heresy, and forcing them to escape into the wilds. They took little, not even what they could carry fully, and headed off for nowhere.

In the wilds, Deyaresu needed to learn to fight to survive. His father taught him what he could, but his teachings proved ineffective for years. Finally, there was a breakthrough. Deyaresu couldn't hunt, because he was useless with the bow. This made gathering food difficult. One day however, his father attempted new means of combat, and gave Deyaresu his first sword, made from the only metals they brought with them, an onyx cross and an obsidian family crest (Writers Note: Does not know if Christianity or the cross is apparent on the server. Could not find much in the lore about religion, can be changed if necessary).

This epiphany was that Deyaresu could wield a blade like a true knight, even at his early age with no formal training. This fact made his father extremely pleased with him, and allowed him to hunt with him. While they hunted, Deyaresu found out interesting things about... well... everything that he could. He learned to trust in God, and allow him to lead him to the great beasts they needed to kill for survival. He would experience odd premonitions while he slept, and rarely, while he hunted. They would transport his field of vision to that of a place with the hunt ripe for the taking. Deyaresu attempted to reason this out, but found it fruitless. It was a true gift from the Divine.

But then... it happened.

After hunting for the day, and trapping several chickens and killing a boar, Deyaresu and his father returned to see their shack, built from the ground up, burning with a group of bandits around it. They had taken what they could, and destroyed what they could not. Deyaresus' sister was 17 at the time (4 years older than he), and she was being dragged off by some of the burlier bandits. His father, in a desperate attempt to save his daughter, lunged from where they were stealthily observing, dagger drawn, and attempted to fend off the bandits. His efforts, though noble, only got him killed as a much larger man from the north simply stabbed him in the chest. Deyaresu watched the whole scene take place, and it drove him to the brink of despair. Lacking his father, Deyaresu could now return to civilizations (While his past went unexplained), and seek out what he truly wanted to do.

Deyaresu wanted to be a Knight, a powerful one, so powerful that incidents like the one with his family could never happen again. For 4 years, he has roamed Asulons human cities, trading honest work for food and board. On the side, he practiced the knights skills until he was no longer helpless, but not yet strong or wise. He, now 17, now hopes to be taken under the wings of a mage, who can teach him to use magic along with his sword. His premonitions stopped during the incident however, and his faith has led him to think more dark when it comes to those who wish harm. This darkness he expresses in his outfit/armor. His sword skills adequate (perhaps even a little good for a non-trained knight), and his faith strong, Deyaresu has a strong sense of honor. He hopes this can help him when he finds the person destined to be his teacher.

What is your Character's ambitions?:

To become a master Knight, who can wield magic and the sword to defend those who are shown no mercy.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):

He still possesses the sword his father made him. Like a part of him, he tends to it faithfully.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?

His sense of honor impresses many people around him, giving him the status of someone to be trusted.

He rarely talks of the past, only looking skyward.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Upon seeing the situation, Deyaresu would think to himself, "I am an honorable man, and should help that halfling from those brutes!", but then his lack of strength makes him realize he cannot be of direct help, and he runs off to the nearest guard, or willing person. He will offer his assistance, but usually a guard or knight would tell him not to bother. This feeds his quest for strength ever more.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

"Hail sir, what wares have you today?".

After listening to the mans inventory, if he has the coin and need for an item, he will buy it and thank the man in his traditionally way, "The sky shall be your blessing for helping me"

(Writers note: Tacky, but it shows his strong faith and respect for others).

If the man has nothing of his interest, or he lacks coin, he will answer truthfully with either, "I'm sorry, but none of your goods are of my intrest", or, "I apologize, but I am lacking the coin at this moment".

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

He would not even hesitate to walk away. No form of financial need or want could ever get him to steal. The bandits stole from him all he loved. Is he better if he commits the same act?

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

"You speak the common tongue? This must be a blessing from god, and I am relieved to find you. I have been lost in these parts for a while now, and require food and some sort of directions to the nearest city. I am willing to give myself to thee in honest labor in return for these things."

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Deyaresu lives to be a knight, and lives wanting to help others. Any chance he has is another blessing to him.

"Hail guards, I have heard that thy seek assistance in capturing bandits. If I can be of help to you, I will gladly assist your cause". He would take the payment, only because this is his livelihood, and he doesn't make a large sum of money. This is also, for him, a great way to hone his combat skills.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Probably 2-4 hours a day on weekdays. More on the weekends.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is acting out a life that isn't your real one, one that you created to fit a specific lore or group.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: Multiple GMOD servers of serious RP, and some Minecraft servers that eventually faded to non-existence.

What Race are you?: Human.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Deyaresu is a 16 year old boy who's father was a disfranchised Noble until he died from heart complications. Deyaresu grew up in a very aristocratic environment, however, when his father was accused of being a heretic, they promptly fled from their homeland which Deyaresu doesn't remember to well. He was 7 at the time, and also has no memory of his mother, who he was told died during his birth.

Deyaresu lived with his father and older sister in the neighboring province for the next 6 years, until his father died, and his sister fled from their house with the court wizard. He hasn't heard from her since. Deyaresu, now on his own, joined the local Knights Academy, as he showed a prominent skill for combat, and has very high sense of honor. 2 Months ago, on his 16th birthday, he graduated with the rank of Arc Knight (Though his friends called him the Dark Knight, because of his Red and mostly Black apparel).

Deyaresu came to hone his magical swordsman skill, and to serve under a mage who can teach him more about the ways of society and magic. His past now a blur, Deyaresu rarely speaks about the past, long or short term, and lives his life according to the knights creed. He is never unsure about his faith, which seems to be where he draws his strength.

What is your Character's ambitions?:To learn the ways of magic, and bring honor to those who have lost it.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):The Sword that his father gave him as he died, claiming it was given to him by god. He isn't sure about the latter, but it has sentimental value.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?: He is a magic swordsman, so he can hold is own about all sorts of singular enemies.
