So, this is of my dog Sam.

I had him for about nine years, and he was a fat, stupid, head-full-bricks amazing companion that I'll never forget.
Here's two bonus images for you guys.

First one is of me and him about two hours before he was put down.

I find myself actually looking forward to this map.
Though one thing I have a concern about, is the position and activity within Cloud Temple.

I remember in Asulon my favorite place was cloud temple. It was beautiful, it had color coded paths that showed where different areas went, you could always find RP there, all that good stuff.
But what was disappointing was Anthos.

Anthos CT was a ghost town. You NEVER saw anyone there, much less anyone that wanted to RP with you.
Being in this map that CT is much closer than it was in Anthos, I'm hoping RP will be more frequent and things more lively there than last time.

One final note.
Though most of you would probably strongly disagree, saying that Cloud Temple is just a spawn point.. It should be a lot more significant that it was in Anthos.
At least a little bit more. Because it served no purpose but to be huge and be pretty, to be totally honest.

That doesn't exactly answer my question.

I saw that the Application Team Applications Forum has disappeared in my 'absence'.

Just confirmation is what I need; denied, or everything moved for whatever reason..?

Or is it more complicated, where they removed that forum until they have positions open again? If that's the case, I'm down with it.

If Yaotli doesn't want Kharajyr blaspheming him, then Yaotli should step down.
Otherwise, Rüthar is not the fool."

Rüthar releases a deep sigh- It's intent not clear.

That is, until he speaks out towards the 'temporary Tla''
He calls out to him, speaking with a small hint of disdain,
"Who are you to claim such a power, Yaotli? You state that we may not know you, and that can say quite a lot.
Specifically that I was given the title of Do' before I even knew of your existence. Or even before the Kha' themselves did.."

His scarred brow line deepens, getting slightly more angered with each word,
"Of such minimal notoriety, how can we trust your abilities?
How can we be confident in you, and what you stand for? We cannot. That is the only answer.
Undeserving is an understatement."

Rüthar raises his hand to grip onto his Lapis necklace, regarding it as protective and holy,
"Rüthar does not recognize your authority."

This was something suggested by Vol, and Aislin. Just because it was recommended by them, doesn't mean we've made any kind of peace, besides the individual kind.

There is no history to discuss, besides the fact that they murdered a lot of kittens, a lot of Kha', and a lot of leaders.

However, OOCly, after a large and painful discussion, I'm fine with the Orcs.

Now. To make an RP post..))

Moves past a few of the Kha' looking at the page to read it, scanning his eyes across it with a bland visage.
Ruthar smacks his lips a bit, it being clear that he recently woke up.

Recalling what he saw at Malinor a few days ago, he considers the offer, and walks back to his den slowly.

That thing was practically useless, and not beneficial.

It caused quite a lot more arguments than I'd care to count, and people go dramatic over the smallest of things (You should know this.)

It doesn't benefit the conversation, either.

If you have some criticism to say, say it.

Down-voting is like pressing a button that represents a quick "**** you" and leaving it there, without further words.

Roleplay combat? Are you suggesting I implement some sort of chat-filter that would take into account roleplay combat?

By a ton of positives for PvPers, is that really a bad thing?

Is it bad that I'm going to be making combat more exciting, take into account your training, background, race, and all these different factors you'd never imagine to include in your roleplay, especially all at the same time?

 

Improving a server is never a bad thing, sure the plugin might be catering to mechanics, but there is no other way to construct a plugin.

They either:

• Introduce new mechanics to progress roleplay.
• Improve existing mechanics to progress roleplay.

It's not like mechanics combat isn't roleplay. You're still taking the role of your character in your fight.

 

Roleplay fighting will remain the same way it is most likely, it doesn't really need any changes.

That's not what I was suggesting.

What I'm confused about, is this entire server is a Roleplay server, and it is more and more centering to becoming a Player Vs. Player server, that you see every single day on the PMC Server List.

It's going to end up where instead of, "How about we just PvP it..? I know you have to ask to initiate it." it will be,

"How about we just RP it..? I know you have to ask to initiate it."

It sounds kind of PvP bashing, but I don't like how the entire thing is more so MC Mechanics than anything else.

Are there any benefits for Roleplay-Combatters, like me, and a large portion of the server?
I'm seeing a lot of negatives for us, and a ton of positives for PvPers..

What you wrote is incredibly offensive and I am going to request you get a warn. Look at my join date. Then look at your join date. Then look at my original forum account's join date. Then I laugh. This is the first step in restoring the atmosphere of Aegis. There isn't going to be an abnormal amount of pugsying. We had what... three remotely successful attempts in Asulon where we had no knockout plugin. Wah wah wah. Put up with it.

 

Considering I carry no less then 4 or 5 valuable RP items, (most of them self-written books with no other copies) at any one time, I've probably got more to loose then you. Put up with it and refer to GIF in signature.

 

EDIT: Also forgot to mention most of my RP takes place underground around a 60-deep chasm filled with lava. My chance of dying to non-RP accidents > yours

But it seems like the strangest thing in the world that you simply don't care, that people don't want to lose things important to them.

Say it was real life, and someone had a higher chance of losing an important family heirloom? You wouldn't care? That sounds ridiculous to me.

Regardless, I apologize, just don't come off as though nothing of what people have is important to them..

You're happy for one of two reasons:

You legitimately think that there will be no pugsying, and have an unnatural amount of optimism for something that massively effects people's items, and willingness to go on the server.

You have no idea what you think, and aren't even sure what the hell the "Knockout plugin" is.

I'm hoping it's the second one, because ignorance of it is better than thinking very illogically. But you're entitled to your opinion regardless..

Be careful, watch your backs! Be afraid for the loss of your items, people... But when you die, you can rest in the cozy crypt.

The New Kitten Guide

 

A lot of Kitten Guides are rather outdated, and I believe should be updated thoroughly. I will take up such a thing.

I will describe each age range individually, going into detail as to how they should be RP'd.
Here we go.

|0-5|
|Kitten|
|1'2" - 1'8"|
In this age range, you cannot talk, and are rather only on all fours.
In this time, they will be hesitant to interaction, or very active in it. Most commonly not in between.
Skiddish and lovable, they will enjoy the embrace of other Kha', finding a pleasant time in curling up in their laps, or simply gnawing on their finger with no teeth.
Most active with siblings, or other kittens, and would be playfully more aggressive with them than the adults. Their perspective of anything would be naive and inexperienced, so void of any completely rational decisions.

|6-9|
|Kitten|
|2'1" - 3'0"|
This is the progression of minor physical maturity.
Walking and talking will be very hard, but still vaguely capable of doing so with some effort
(Learning both can be acceptable when you are off the server. The same with lessons on Metztli.)
They will be expected to understand that doing stupid stuff is not acceptable within the Kharajyr society, but a few situations may be ignored for the sake of their own mental immaturity.
Their teeth will be grown in, and shenanigans may be arising in their wake.
Carrying small items, such as wood and small toys they enjoy playing with will be easy for them, and clumsiness with such things will be included.
They shouldn't be RP'd as though they know everything (That comes later) but as though they have no idea what they're doing, and tend to ramble like a normal child.

|3'9"- Puberty|
Rational decisions based around personality and way they were raised, able walking and talking, and interest in the opposite (or same) gender at the age of 15 (full physical maturity.)
Training for trials is a must, and their agenda is completely based around becoming an adult, and noticed in society.
At this stage, it's practically free range. Your character is based around their personality, and willingness to get done what needs to be done.
