What do you wish to become a citizen of Malinor: I have lived in Skaravia my whole life, but wish to leave due to the lonely feeling that floats around the city. This is the elven lands, I thought that I'd be welcomed.

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: With a 97% in English, I personally think that I have a good grip on grammar.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Well, I can be quite or shy at times in person but in game I should have no problem making friends (I hope). I consider myself responsible, mature and able to go on with what is happening. There should be no problems for I am generally a calm person and I am also cooperative and helpful.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: As long as nothing important comes up, I could probably be on at least an hour or two each day.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is a getaway for me. You can be whoever you want and not have to be judged. Roleplaying gives me a chance to have fun being in someone else`s shoes. It also provides a challenge to try and stay in character even at the toughest times.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I’ve been on a few Roleplay sites including “Warrior Cats RPG” and “Orange Islands”. Occasionally, I Roleplay with my sister and her friend over Skype.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: I honestly didn’t know what it meant until now, but after reading about it, it seems that Meta-Gaming is basically using out of game information to your advantage. Let’s say a friend was planning an attack on you, but your character didn’t know it. If you all of a sudden make your character know this, that would be Meta-Gaming.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-Gaming is, to me, similar to “Power-Playing” in which a player claims their action was successful without letting others decide what their characters want. For example, in a fight if someone claims that their attack hit without approval, that would be Power-Gaming or Power-Playing. Also, if you make your character dodge every single attack, that would also be Power-Playing.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server to be a fun Roleplaying experience that I’ve never had in Minecraft before.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have not played on anyone’s server except my friends. The only reason that I’m not on it now is because he made a new one and never gave me the IP address.

Character Name: Cyther Johnson

What Race are you?: I am a young elf of Skyravia.

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): High Elf

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Summary:

Cyther has lived her life so far as any other elf, studying lore and such (in fact, reading was her current obsession), but has always dreamed of becoming unique, able to be easily pointed out. She never really could find her passion until she heard of others travels. That`s when Cyther decided that she wanted to travel all across the world of Asulon in search of something better then what she had.

History:

As a toddler, Cyther seemed to always be a bit more mature then the others. That is the only part of her life that differs from the regular elf. She has had no traumatic experience or a huge goal waiting for her to complete, Cyther has always been just normal. But, I suppose you could count the many times that Cyther had to watch her cousin of the same age something different. They seemed to get along fine with the occasional brother/sister combat. In fact, they seemed like brother and sister. Sadly though, Cyther hasn't seen him for many years and thinks that he is finally able to take care of himself.

Age- 15

Appearance- Cyther is a mid-height teenage elf with long, flowing brown hair and mossy green eyes. She enjoys wearing her signature color, green.

Personality- Cyther is almost always capable of over-coming a tough situation with her slyness and cleverness. She is confident and courageous, being able to travel Asulon on her own and all. The young elf is also determined to find her rightful place in the world, along with searching for some way to prove herself. Cyther is normally quite peaceful and kindhearted when it comes to greeting strangers, but sometimes she just gets that feeling that something is not right. I feel the need to add that Cyther is not some fearless, extremely ambitious and brave person, but can faithful and protective of her companions. To end it, she is also trustworthy, thoughtful, and responsible.

What is your Character's ambitions?: Cyther loves to travel, read and enjoys camping out under the stars.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Cyther`s favorite tool or useful item would be her father`s compass and some old maps she found. (If those don`t count, make it a flint and steel.)

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Cyther is quite knowledgeable in the survival department. She knows how to make a quick one-night camp, how to start a fire and how to find food. Cyther also knows a lot about how to read maps and a compass.

Other Information about your Character: If you didn't catch it, Cyther used to be quite close with her cousin (Who`s name is...) Archu.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Cyther walks up casually and says: "Is there a problem here?" She expects the warriors to feel bad about bringing a young elf into the problem, but sadly her plan backfires. The two warriors turn to her and the tougher one asks: "Yeah? What's it to you?" Cyther stares the warrior in the eye, but smiles in her head for she noticed that the halfling had scrambled away. "Nothing." Cyther turns and leaves as casually as she came.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Cyther quickly glances at the wares of the strange man. She could use a map of the next place she is heading for, but is worried of the price. "How much is a map?" She asks, her curiosity taking over. "There are not many maps of the unknown so that will cost you 300 minas." Luckily, Cyther had just recently picked up some minas and now had 700. "I'll take it!" Cyther replied, accepting the map and continuing on her way.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Cyther peeks through a window of the hut and wonders if it is really abandoned. She decides that someone would never just leave their stuff out where anyone could take it and continues on her way without a second thought.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Cyther worries that these odd fellows cannot be trusted, but she needs to see a map. She quickly asks for one, not thinking that it would be a problem, and it turns out it wasn’t. The strangers hand her one. Cyther winces when she realized that the next town is quite a few miles away. The strangers can see how disappointed she is and offer her a free stay at the inn. Cyther accepts, not remembering her previous worries and follows the inn keeper to the inn. After a peaceful sleep, a nice breakfast was served to her, once again for free. Not wanting to cheat the strangers out of their money, Cyther insists that they take a few minas. It took a while of convincing but eventually they accepted her offer. Soon Cyther left the trading camp on her way to the next town, well rested and fed along with a happy attitude.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Cyther is happy to hear the news of a reward, but quickly realizes that she, being a young elf and all, wouldn’t be much help, just a hassle. But still she sees if there is anything she can do. The leader of the group offers her a part on the strategy team, and Cyther accepts. The strategists plan an ambush on the bandits as they walk on the path to town. Everyone goes along, following the leader, while Cyther stays back. Soon, everyone returns, hooting and hollering. The ambush was a success! Cyther joins them in their small celebration and before continuing on her way, takes her reward which turned out to be a few minas and a map of all the great merchants around the area! What a day! Cyther thinks as she heads out, wondering if she should stop at one of the merchants stands on the way.
