What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is the act of portraying a character that you create, during that you roleplay the characters lifestyle and act and do as he would. You develop and act with the fictional character. You value their morals, what they beleive in, and who they are. During the time you roleplay as that character, you do and act as they would.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I played on many roleplay servers on a modification for a old Grand Theft Auto game called SAMP, or San Andreas Multiplayer. I've been roleplaying on those servers for almost three years.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: It's using information that you have obtained OOCly, in a IC way. Such as saying you know a persons name when you obtained it OOCly, and never met them ICly

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: Forcing a roleplay action on someone without giving them a chance to react to it. It is also doing unrealistic things such as a human picking up and throwing a house across the map

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, of course.

Do you promise to abide by said rules, and laws? This includes the Server, Forum, and Teamspeak set Rules: Of course.

Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?:Yes, http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/61461-brandon-steels-application/

    In-Character:

    Character Name: Brandon_Steel

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) :Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):Brandon was born in Oren in a wood hut on the outskirts of the city of Arethor. His father was a merely a average woodcutter, so Brandon naturally followed in his fathers footsteps to also become a woodcutter. He had great education as a child as his mother pushed him to be educated, which led to him taking a interest in math. When he wasn't helping his father with the woodcutting(Which was rare, mind you) he would tinker with various items around the house, making them into small contraptions to open doors by themselves. He also would help his cousin design irragation systems for their farm. He also obtained small scars around his eyes due to accidentally cathing his eyebrows on fire while testing a experiment. Since then, he has invented his own fireproof goggles that are commonlly seen around his head.

Growing up, Brandon was frequentlly with his cousin's family. During that time he often visited the inner city of Arethor with them. While there, he realised that the family always left half a loaf of a bread after their dinners, and kept it in their packs when they went out. Brandon observed them while everytime they saw someone sitting on the street with nothing but rags to wear, they would always give them half of the bread. This kindness eventually rubbed off onto Brandon who started also doing it while visiting the city. During that time, he also dealt with people who would scoff at them when they saw them doing these things, asking why they would feed those who "Didn't deserve it". The family never did respond to these questions, they never felt the need to. Brandon over time learned to ignore them aswell, and developed somewhat of a hate for people such as them. At the age of twenty-two, Brandon decided that lumberjacking was becoming a old profession that he was growing tired of, and that he couldn't spend his life doing something he didn't want to. He explained to his parents that he was leaving the hut to explore the city and to help others with his inventions. They agreed and said their goodbyes. Brandon packed up most of his items with him within the next three days, and set off for the inner city of Arethor, hoping that someone could find some use of the inventions he is sure to make.

What are your Character's ambitions?: To hopefully create something great and useful for the world someday that everyone will use.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Flint and Steel, he's a bit of a pyromaniac. He also likes to use a axe and occasionally a bow, however.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? :He's mostlly skilled at woodcutting, as he has done that his entire life. He's also good at simple mechanics however due to it being his hobby. He has some basic skill with the bow due to a few hunting trips with his father.

A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format, if you do not know how to acquire one, copy and paste this link into your browser: ( http://tinyurl.com/Lotcscreenshot ) xn59bb.png

Other Information about your Character: He has blonde hair, and blue eyes. Commonly seen with his goggles around his forehead. He also ussually wears wool boots and wool gloves. He is almost always very kind, but cannot stand being around cocky people and will ussually walk the other way around them.

    Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? He turns the other way, to hopefully find the town watch and report it. He would wouldn't engage them unless his own life was in definite danger. He might also attempt to engage them from long range using a bow, but this would be rare and only if he knew the person would be in grave danger otherwise.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? He would respond with-... "'Ay, I'll look at your wares, what have you got?". He would ussually buy something he think could help make his inventions. However, if the man was selling illegal items Brandon would go to nearest town and report the man and his location to the town watch.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: He would ponder who could of been living in this hut beforehand, and look around the hut for any clues of where the person might have went to or if he was recently still here. He would then keep moving on to wherever he was heading to beforehand. When he arrived at that town he would ask the town watch if they knew if anyone still lived there, and if noone did he would ask if he could claim the items.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I would first hang around the outskirts of the town hiding, making sure that it was truly a trading camp and not a camp of bandits. Then if it appeared to be a trading camp, I would quickly jog down to it and say hello to the first person I said. All the while making sure these people are truly safe, observing the tents to see if any of them seem to be acting suspicious. After saying hello I would quickly ask if they had any leftover food I could have, due to being very hungry. I would also feel a great sense of relief due to finding somewhere that was safe(to an extent) and somewhere to find food. After asking for any food, I would ask which way it was to the nearest town, which way was the safest route, and which way is the quickest route. I would then quickly depart after saying goodbyes to the people who talked to me during this time, and head the best route back to closest town.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: He wouldn't directly attack them unless his own life was in danger, he would however ask if he could help in any other possible way. Ways including this would be possibly using bow and arrow to attack from far away (although this would be rare, as he doesn't want combat if he can avoid it), or asking if he could bring supplies to the troops who are fighting. And lastly he could also attempt to help those who get wounded, although he has only a very basic idea of how to treat wounds.

Anything else you would like to say?:If Cap reviews this application as he did my last one, I want to apologize for messing up the formatting and making it probally horrible for you to read. I didn't realise what I did until you already denied it as it was late at night for me and I was honestly rushing the application to go to sleep.

As for the sword, he would take it due to possiblly being able to sell it to the right person for a good ammount of minas. Both of these items would be to tempting for him not to take.
