Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I like to play Minecraft, but I'm looking for an awesome roleplay server like this one. I also like to code Bukkit plugins and to watch Youtube videos. When I'm not doing any of that, I like to ride my bike :3 .

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 15 hours or more

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying, also named RP, is adopting a character, it allows you to do whatever you want, exploring the limits of your imagination. Creating new characters and places, and learning the difference between IC(In-character) and OOC(Out-of-Character) information. The character is just like a real life person, the character has feelings, does actions, and makes mistakes.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: None. But I really enjoy to read books and am willing to learn!

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is using out-of-character information(OOC), as an advantage to your character. Roleplayers need to learn how to separate OOC(Out-of-character) and IC(In-Character) info.

Per example:

I join the server with my friend, my friend, on Skype, tells me about his character.

I end up finding my friend's character and try to talk with him(roleplaying), and from what my friend told me on Skype I know that his character is a big magic teacher.

So I end up referring that he is a magic teacher on the roleplay conversation.

I'm meta-gaming, because my character did not know that he was a magic teacher, only I did.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is:

Power-Emoting is doing an action that no one can prevent or react to, using emotes as an advantage, in combat per example:

WarmakerT punches Player1 so hard that ends up smashing his nose.

That is Power-emoting, WarmakerT did not give a chance for Player1 to react and stop the attack. An example of not power-emoting:

WarmakerT attempts to punch Player1.

Player1 dodges the attack and WarmakerT's hand hits the wall.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I watched some of PotatoOrgy's and Candle's videos on the server and I really liked it. Since the videos are old, I'm expecting the server to be a lot better now! :D

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: To be honest, I didn't leave them. I'm just not joining them as much because I'm a staff member and can't play. The Lord of the Craft would be a server that I can play on whenever I want, a server that I would play for hours a day!

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Shelton, when he was younger, always enjoyed to go to the mines and watch the dwarves. The vicious air of the mines always gave him a smile in his face. His dad, Perth Anteh always brought back gems and ores from the mines. He sold the gems and ores, and got a lot of money.

His dad's friends were very nice. Puef was his best friend, a traveller. He and his dad always loved to hear stories about his adventures! Puef was a very wise man, he was trusted by everyone, just like Shelton's father.

The monsters attacked, Shelton wasn't even born when the world of Aegis was destroyed by the monsters. His parents protected each other, and planned on having a baby after the war. And soon peace came. Someone had found a way into a much safer place. And there they went, starting all over, poor.

They had a son, which they named Shelton, and Shelton kept growing up, and for everyone, it seemed like he grew up too quickly. At the age of 15, his dad allowed Shelton to actually mine, instead of watching all the dwarves. Shelton almost instantly got a pickaxe from the chest and hugged his father. His father released a tear, and they mined together. Soon both of them discovered Shelton's gift. Every time Shelton inhaled that vicious air, he started mining like a mad-man, he was persistent, he wanted to give his family a better future. And soon, Shelton made his family rich again, and his parents proud.

Shelton's mother, Alicia Defiy was a very successful baker. Whatever you wanted, she could make it, from bread to cakes! Everyone from the city went to her bakery to buy food. Everyday, his mother came home very tired. But the ores they brought cheered her up. After he was done eating his mother's delicious meals, he went to the bar with his friends after spending some time with his family. Shelton had some problems with drinking, he drank too much and then his friends had to carry him home. And in the next day, he forgot about all the good time he spent with his friends.

And now, at the age of 17, Shelton still has his gift, and keeps mining.

What are your Character's ambitions?: Shelton wishes that his parents live long.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Shelton's favorite tool is a pickaxe, because as most dwarves, he loves to mine.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? When Shelton inhales the vicious air of the mines, he starts mining and is persistent, he mines until his hands bleed. All because he wants to give the best to his family.

Other Information about your Character: Shelton gets drunk very often, which isn't good. His parents try to stop him, but he doesn't listen.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

I ready my sword, walk up to the warriors and in a surprise, I hit one of them with my sword in his leg. The warrior falls on the ground, not able to stand up. I continue hitting the warrior, but now with my fists, showing almost no mercy.

The other warrior, wanting to avenge his friend, attempts to hit me with his sword while I'm not looking. But the halfling screams:

"CAREFUL DWARF!"

I look to my back and block his attack with my sword, then, while I block his attack, I am strong enough to knockback him.

The warrior in fear, runs away, forgetting about the halfling's money, I laugh.

The halfling gets his money and hugs me, happy, after that I re-start hitting the other warrior.

The warrior is already bleeding and asking me to stop. I look at him, and I decide that I should stop, because this is not me.

The warrior says sorry a couple of times. I also ask him to forgive me.

The warrior walks away, and I clean my swords, after that I go back to my family.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

I look at the merchant and ask him:

"Hi, what can you do for me today?"

"We have swords, axes, pickaxes and lots of food and armor, fellow!"

"I really need a Pickaxe, but it can't be a normal pickaxe..." - I say, scratching my chin.

"You mean... One of those Efficiency V diamond pickaxes?" - Says the merchant, whispering

"Exactly!" - I say, happy

"I will be right back" - says the merchant

The merchants goes past a door and when he comes back, he has a pickaxe that looks just like any other. But it has a strange glow that I regularly see.

"That will be 350 minas" - He says

"Really? Only?!" - I ask, and think: "350 minas only... Weird..."

"Yes, you seem like a very trusted dwarf"

"Well thank you!"

And I walk away, and when I'm going past the door, I drop my bad of coins on purpose. I continue walking and when I look back, the merchant is crying of happiness.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

As most creatures are poor, there's a high chance that the house isn't abandoned. So I shout:

"Anybody home?"

I get no answer, so I walk away from the house, but I get surprised by a old man:

"Yes, I'm 'ere!" - He says, I can hear his heart beating quickly

He looks at the bag of coins I'm holding.

I look at him, and think:

"He's so poor, I have to do something. His life must be miserable! Poor old man"

I hand the bag to him and he whispers:

"Thank you"

I continue my journey, thinking about how I changed the man's life.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

I analyse their looks, since they look friendly, I ask, shouting:

"May I come in?"

They see how I look desperate and without thinking twice, they open the gates.

I come in, they can hear me breathing, and ask:

"Are you alright dwarf?"

I feel happy to find such a helpful creature:

"I was walking through the wilderness, I know I shouldn't have done that. I'm lost and hungry and I have no money with me."

The creature has a pure heart, at least it seems like it. He runs and enters a building. I see a seat so I sit on it. And 7 minutes later, he comes back with 2 hot bread with ham. He sits next to me and gives me 1 bread and he eats the other.

"Thank you very much."

" "The only way to help yourself is by helping the others" " - He quotes

When we finish eating the bread:

"Do you perhaps have a map, or someone/something that can indicate me the way to Kal'Urguan?"

"We have map, and Kal'Urguan isn't far away from here"

He stands up and when he returns he sits next to me and gives me the map.

"The grey dot is Kal'Urguan, land of the dwarves."

I stand up and thank the creature. He takes me to the gates, and I follow the map to my land.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

I want to go, I really do, but my family can't get hurt. What should I do? They protected themselves when Aegis was attacked, so I could be born, I need to protect them now.

I need to think... Should I go? No, I decide, I'll stay and protect my family:

"I'm sorry, but I need to protect my family. I need to return their favour"

"I understand... But sometimes we need to learn to let go..."

"I really can't do this."

"Ok, you can go. Protect your family, 'son' ".

I go to house, my dad is holding my mother. They're protecting each other. I sit next to them, my mother is crying:

"Don't worry mother, it will all be alright."

And in the next day I notice that everything is alright, our town wasn't attacked.

"See? It's all alright." - I smile

And me and my father go to the mine, my mother goes to the bakery.

I, Shelton, was raised by my parents. I am very healthy, we are a dwarf family.

My dad loves to mine, and so do I. Me and my dad mine together very often, and bring back the precious ores and gems that we found. My mother always gets surprised when she sees all the things we mined, even though this happens frequently. I am a normal dwarf, tiny, I look good because my family is rich, so we have the money to buy clothes and to actually take a bath; I don't think I'm rude, nor do I prefer everything in my way. I'm very ambitious 17 year old, and very friendly. I like to hang-out with the dwarves and drink a couple bears.

What are your Character's ambitions?: Shelton wishes to become the richest creature on Aegis.

Halflings are peaceful, but if needed, they will use their strength to attack. So, I would say: "Ye may fear his strength"(To the guards)

I answer: "'othing today, I was just lookin' around"

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:I take the iron bars but not the golden sword. I'd need to be a villain to be able to steal it all.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? "Ye have any food 'round here? And a map? Pleas 'elp meh!"

The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Shelton doesn't accept because Shelton is peaceful. He does not want to kill, but he prefers to stay in the town and defend it if it's attacked.
