What group/nation do you consider to be your main?
I got a druid and that’s basically it.

Have you held a staff position before?
     Nah.
Do you currently hold a staff position?
     Nah.
Do you plan on applying for other staff positions?
     Nah, why would I?
Have you ever been banned before? If so, how long ago and what reason?
Nah, not been banned to my knowledge. Maaaybe. Dunno! I have been here for 5 years.

What style of events do you feel you enjoy creating? (Low Fantasy, High Fantasy, Quests, Dungeons, etc.):
I would love to do some events pertaining to High Fantasy, Quests, or Dungeons.
List three factors you feel play a part in a quality event and expand upon them.
Enjoyment of all those involved, different people becoming important during the event, flexibility to allow the players to (within reason) advance within their own style. And, as a hidden fourth, show don’t tell and linked to that--having the players trust their intuition. Also favoring ingenious ways of solving situations, sometimes.
Which member(s) of the team would you attempt to emulate and why?
I have not participated in EVENTS much over the course of 5 years in LOTC, so *SHRUG*
Provide three event scenarios, in total, of the style(s) you listed above:

    EVENT TEAM SCENARIOS

'a witch kissed me' (HIGH FANTASY)

3-5 players are granted letters sealed with a kiss, and inside is... something. Scribbles that look like trees and some stream? And there is a message on the corner of each 'meet [insert town here]'. Players go to that town, share their letters, and the paper fuses together to make a MAP! Upon the map, they'd see an X (presumably for treasure) and a glowing dot, but the location is... treacherous. The map, it seems, leads deep, deep into the forest--but have no fear! it seems the glowing dot shows THEIR location!

Heading off into the forest, they'd find themselves go deeper, and deeper--remains of old adventurers strewn here and there, though that’s not SO odd, right?-- and would find themselves waylaid by what are puppets made of skeletons! Assuredly, this bodes ill for our adventurers! After a brief confrontation, they would find their destination--a clearing. in said clearing, there is a maiden, resplendent in appearance. Upon turning, they would be enchanted (and would have to roll to resist such). And, after a successful resist, all adventurers are freed from the spell, and a sharp-toothed, long clawed woman stands before them! Fight her, and claim your prize!

    Summary
Players would be given pieces of a magical map, which leads to some neato loot! On the way however, they are waylaid by glamorous, though awful creations. Upon finding their destination, their hostess--the temptress--is hungry and not so willing to part with her baubles--violence ensues! Slightly interesting items received, nothing absurdly powerful—maybe a crystal ball that can hover, and cast off light similar to a redstone torch.

    Emote Example
The horrific creature smiled at the assembled adventuerers, her supposed meal, as something happens. The neck of the woman begins to change--though far more drastically, one would think, compared to the other transformations she had apparently undertook--and began to convulse, and snap, and CRACK. Sickening fleshy noises heralded an extension of her throat, ungainly, nearly twenty feet in length as it rose up, and up, and up. Then! Like a rattlesnake, it curled up, ready to pounce. To those fashion-minded, it appeared as if she was wearing the fleshiest scarf. A crime against fashion and nature to be assured!

     ’ancient delve!’ (DUNGEON-REPEATABLE)
7-14 players are wandering through the wilds after hearing word from some rather frightened traveler that a fissure had opened up nearby! Led to the fissure by the anxious fellow, they find that the earth had indeed opened, revealing a long-lost structure hidden beneath the surface! After a relatively walk down into the fissure, they come to the small door that appears unlocked. Upon entry, the adventurers find a small, cramped room with stone furniture, no immediate oddities sticking out. However, there are two doorways--one is locked by a door similar to the front entry, though it glowed with pulsating runes in a most foreboding manner--and the other is yet another unlocked door.

Upon entry, they would be greeted by an office--and a skeleton! When inspecting the room (and the body), they would find some old, rusted dagger in its back, a ring, and a journal in remarkably good shape, a rune similar to that of the locked door pulsating upon its surface. Within, they would find out that this was once a sanctuary from some strange and illusive mage, well-versed in rune magic, and the hapless skeleton his trusty apprentice. A mystery is laid before the adventurers to solve; find out why this place was apparently attacked, what caused the earthquake, and make it out alive!

    Summary
Think of this as your traditional dungeon-crawl adventure; a secret place is revealed, and within it an adventure of magic, murder, and most importantly, mystery! It would be something that favors players that make sensible, logical choices--it would involve a good bit of puzzle-solving and clue-gathering--but the clues gathered and puzzles solved would result in the players getting better loot! There’d be a maximum amount of clues and puzzles for each individual run-through; 20 and 7 respectively (3 mandatory, 4 optional). It could be something revisited every so often for new people to try and test their luck in solving the mystery! There would be multiple tomes, and multiple rings to allow other groups to try and make their way through the dungeon, which also means that there’d be different ‘stories’ the journals would tell for the different characters!

    Emote Example
It’s remarkable how intact the tome is after oh so long. In fact, it’s almost magical! Touching the rune upon the page, the book would snap open to a blank page, though on the other side was the last entry. How curious! And then just as your eyes touched upon the words, surprisingly understandable, a voice rang out, presumably that of this skeleton!
     Entry 954:
Master Roon said that his grand creation was almost ready. Oh, I’m ever so excited--this project had taken much longer than any of us had expected--but I am worried. There are whispers of a leak within the circle. Someone selling secrets to Roon’s rival, someone having told them of our location. I don’t think anyone in here would be capable of that; we all were sworn to secrecy upon being kept here. Still. I will be on my--

And that, you think, is when the poor apprentice was stabbed. The book snapped closed, unwilling to be opened by your hand or anyone else’s. Oh well, it could be useful!

    ’old wives tales‘ (QUEST)
10+ players would be told, in a tavern, of some legend; out in the wilds, there was writing upon a rock shaped like a finger pointing upwards into the heavens. They laughed at this, though saw nothing to keep them from trying to find it; it would only be a few days, right? It was that, at first. Wandering out of town with vague directions like ‘North’ and ‘definitely not west’, and with a guide that swears she found it once years ago, they would come across a finger, much to her pleasure. And upon it was writing! Though faint, weathered by weather and by time, it could be made out by the party to be written in old, old common; ‘with my hand, I guide’. Emboldened by this, they’d begin digging to find that it was a statue, not just some finger-shaped rock! Hauling it up, it pointed definitely to the west. And so they followed.
And they found a mountain. And they found more writing ‘within me, you are safe’. And so they entered. Following a path down, deep down, all the way down, something strange yet miraculous would be revealed to them. A fortress, lost to time, hidden deep down, all the way down, in the HEART of a mountain.

    Summary
Imagine an escort-quest, but with an ET guide leading them to a location, and a bit of a translation puzzle that can be rolled to translated, because it’d simply be frustrating to Google up old OLD English. The quest would involve a journey, of course, becoming more and more obvious that it is leading towards some ancient and lost thing--dirt path becomes gravel, then cobblestone, then stone bricks--and examples of a pre-existing society in the area. Whatever it was would be up to interpretation; show, don’t tell.
The fortress would be a death-trap to those inexperienced, and would require multiple delves to truly get to the heart of the thing, and many more to completely scout it out.

    Emote Example
“S’all good, yeah? Ain’t some big secret; not a lot of them like t’get out of town. S’bout bad luck and boogeymen stealin’ people when they wander out o’ sight. Is just bollocks, yeah?” The guide sure was mouthy, though at least they hadn’t gotten turned around… yet. She knew what she was doing. The youth with a nose crooked from it being broken overmuch continued. “I mean, yeah, it’s dangerous, not like I’m unused to a bit of a brawl, yeah?” There was this knowing look at the party, her giggling and snorting. “Anywho, yeah. It’s… theeere. Yup! Told you I wasn’t lyin’. Now pay up!”
    ---
The fortress was… intimidating. The gate was tall, though taller than most that the Descendants would keep. It was a show of strength, a show of power--they were capable of this and greater, whomever lived here oh so long ago. The structure was vast, impossibly so it seemed. The amount of time put into this construction and level of work would even rival the underground keep-cities of the dwarves! Yet… it did not feel like a city. It did not feel like a keep. It felt like a prison. It felt… /dangerous/. There was a nagging at the back of everyone’s head, whispers of adventure, of prize, of glory. Would they heed it?

Why do you wish to become an ET Actor Member?
     Second time's the charm.
What strengths would you bring to the team?
A large vocabulary. I bring good words, yes. Also, inclusive events that anyone could join, and would (hopefully) leave the participants feeling pretty spiffy with the event and RP they got.
    What are your weaknesses?
College, at the moment. Monday thru Thursday I have classes from 6AM to 6-7PM (granted on how reliably I can get home, given the transportation system). Also, homework.
On a more serious note; I can get annoyed, and I can be rude at times. Everyone can, yeah? ANYWHO. That's all off the top of MY dome-piece.
How much time could you give to this position in the foreseeable future?
Basically almost all day Friday thru Sunday, give or take, less so Monday thru Thursday.

  3.  Virmehn was upon the ground then, blade poised towards her, ready to strike. Not much time now, she wouldn’t be able to escape, it has to be said. Warn, protect. No, too late. A life was snuffed out as quickly as the blade struck home—her grasp firmly upon the hilt of another. She would not be able to free that, no. She was never going to.

Sister Briar expected darkness when the blade came, but she awoke in a glade. A clearing, all a flutter with life. It was odd. It was calm. It was home. Moreso than anything else she had ever known. Rising upon unsteady feet, she was not overwhelmed. She was not dead. She was alive, wearing fresh clothes, and she felt… vital. She felt free. Content.

Striding forth, one step after another, she’d explore, but more importantly, she would find herself lost. A briar patch was before her. Was it always there?

It matters little. But it held something.

     Peace. Clarity. Rest.

The elf was wrath, was rage. But, she was loyal.

Loyalty to herself and her fellows and her duty, loyal enough to risk her own life  to strike against one who outmatched her, unfortunately.

Upon the briars she rested. Her identity faded, ebbed away, gnawed by time and by peace and by knowing that she had, at least, served her purpose.

     Loyalty remained ever after.

    ---

A shift, a change--a body buried by friends, hidden away where no hands would rip her from her rest--but that was not meant to be. Stolen, ferreted away, gone from the embrace of the earth and the tree. What could this be?

MC name of OOC overseer (Note: they must either have a TA in this magic on any character or be a member of the MT): Auric_Saint (Quavinir)
Was directed by him to make an MA for this magic, as I am part of the activity trial.

Offer an explanation of the magic(s) you are learning:
The enaction of Yeu Rthulu is a magic divided into two parts. The first part being a meditation that is needed to perform the magic, in which the caster sends tiiny bits of their soul essence to Yeu (which makes the soul stronger, like a muscle; think deeping of a mana-pool via practicing voidal arts).
The second part is the caster than using bits of the soul essence to make unburning fire, and small balls of light know as ‘wisps’ that can be used to do tasks.
Provide evidence you've a proper means of learning this magic(s): Relavas has lived her entire child to fifty year old life in the loving presence and home of Dwyn and Quavinir; following that she kept the 30 Strictures on her person. If she so requires it, she'd simply go to Quavinir for assistance on the meditation.
