In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: The act of Roleplaying is emersing yourself in a role of a character that you usually create. Reacting to matters the way your character would and not the way /you/ would. Much like acting a role out of a play you become said character and let the character take you to where it wants to go.

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Using outside information! If you are told something OOC then your character does not know this information. Using skype and TS are usual ways for meta-gaming to occur. Using information found on the forums that your character would not is meta-gaming. All information found OOCly cannot be used ICly!

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Dodging every attack like you’re some super powerful beast or dodging/blocking when it is impossible for your character to do so. Using attacks that are just god like and cannot be stopped... or even simply emoting chopping someone’s head off all in 1 emote. Power emoting is using emotes to empower your character in some way compared to another persons character. Forcing your emote on someone and they cannot chance the outcome due to your 'powerful' emote.

    In-Character Details

    Character Name: Piggy

    Character Race: Halfling

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

[[Please note that Piggy’s early life is supposed to be rather vague and a mystery to everyone including me to make RP more fun as Piggy slowly regains some of his memories which will all happen in character. This means huge chunks of information before the accident will be left out of the biography such as birth-place, age, some information regarding parents and even Piggy’s actual name and old home.]]

When Piggy was little his parents used to read him story books passed down through their family. Piggy’s favourite book that he would always get his parents to read was the tale of a brave little piglet named Steve. Now in the story the Piglet named Steve was a runt compared to the other piglets. Steve’s mother still cared for all her piglets and gave special attention to Steve, until the story takes a twisted turn and mommy pig is slaughtered to feed a human family. The piglets started to resent Steve and without mommy pig to be there he would get picked on. Eventually Steve was driven away and escaped the farm through a small hole under the gate which the other piglets could not fit under. Steve was now alone and scared, he wondered around the unkown land and smelled something strange. As Steve turned around a massive Orc stood over him and swung his axe down at it. Piggy’s parents always told him that story was that Orcs are vicious and will kill you when you’re weakest, but Piggy took the story a different way thinking if the other piglets were with Steve nothing would’ve happened and they would be happy!

Piggy did not know but him and his parents lived on the outskirts of Solace the Human Capital of Salvus. Piggy didn’t know that his parents actually looked down on him thinking he might be brain damaged. His parents always sheltered Piggy and even sometimes lock him in his room so they do not need to deal with him. During Year 37 the plague had completely decimated his parents small farm and they were forced to flee as far from Solace; the source of the Plague, and find shelter. However having to drag Piggy along was strenuous on his parents and food was dwindling within their small supply. As they traveled Asulon looking for greener pastures a small tribe of Goblins tried to rob Piggy and his parents. The taller black goblin swung his hammer towards the mother first for her insolence but Piggy’s father pushed mother out of the way and Piggy was struck on the head. Piggy’s parents ran away from the scene, leaving their poor, unconscious son behind. The goblins took Piggy’s unconscious body back to their camp discussing whether to eat him or not. The Elder of the tribe of Goblins walked out of his tent along with some fe-gobos and the brought with them woolen pig costumes! Their plan was to dress up Piggy and themselves and disguise as Pigs and sneak into Arethor to steal as much food as they could. After much arguing about bringing Piggy along and not eating him they decided they would use him as a distraction! Piggy eventually awoke with a massive headache, unsure who he was, where he came from, even his own name was a blank to him! When Piggy looked around he saw Goblins dressed as Pigs, unsure of anything Piggy looked around unsure of how to communicate, what those things were even! The Goblins chuckled and began to dance around Piggy chanting “Oink oink oink!”, Piggy looked at himself then back the Pig dressed Gobos and began to dance around with them and chanting “Oink oink oink!”. The Elder waved his arms signaling to start the march; Piggy followed them until a group of humans surrounded them. The Goblins and Piggy remained perfectly still, slightly making small pig noises before they began to walk around the humans making their way to Arethor’s farms. As they crawled into a barn the Goblins quickly got to their feet and ran around looking for food storage of some sort. Piggy sat down watching the Goblins run around until a booming voice was heard from across a field! The Goblins yelped and motioned for Piggy to run towards the noise, Piggy still having a hard time at understanding hand gestures decided to turn and crawl towards the noise. He walked up to the very old farmer in the fields walking towards his barn screaming at the top of his lungs. The old farmer grinned somehow thinking Piggy was infact a real pig! The old farmer chuckled and picked Piggy up and brought him back to his small farm home.

Year 58, Piggy has been raised by the Old farmer as an actual pig! The old farmer watched as Piggy grew from a runty pig into a large pig who he loved. Feeding Piggy only the best of slop for years, and keeping the other pigs far from Piggy. During their time together Piggy would speak some common words and to the amazement of the Old farmer thought he had a magical talking pig! Piggy knew nothing about being anything other than a pig now and grew accustomed to eating the slop. However in Year 58 the Old farmer was sick in bed, unbeknownst to Piggy the old farmer had somehow been fighting the plague for all those years and has finally given in and died early in the morning on his bed. Piggy shook the Old Farmer until the now fresh corpse fell onto the floor. Piggy squeeled and ran around the room unsure of what was happening. Piggy ran out of the house and began to run out in the fields, running in circles unsure of what to do. Piggy ran onto the path to Arethor and curled into a ball squeeling and oinking and spouting random bits of common he learned. A knight approached Piggy thinking it was a Pig until he looked closer and realized it was a Halfling in a woolen pig costume. The knight sighed heavily and picked Piggy up and brought him to a carriage telling the driver to get him to the Vale. As this was happening Piggy pretended to be dead hoping everything would be okay, and as he did so he slowly drifted off to sleep. When he awoke he was on a small boat heading towards the Vale.

Personality: Piggy is a very quirky character. Dressing as a woolen pig, acting like a pig and having a very hard time communicating in common. Piggy is very adventurous character and is always curious about what others are doing. He has a strange love for scraps of food and rolling around in dirt. Piggy also enjoys the sound of running water. Piggy would also be around 27 or so years old in current time.

What are your characters ambitions?: Make many friends and travel around Asulon on an adventure to uncover Piggy’s lost memories! Basically as my RP progresses with Piggy he will slowly regain some memories and eventually increase his vocabulary. Also a side ambition is stay as a Pig forever!

Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here: wu5y06.png

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: Piggy has a low vocabulary and will try to use other means to speak or get a point across such as hand motions or playing charades.

    Open-Response-Questions

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

Piggy hears a loud raspy voice shouting across the stone city. He quickly scurries around to locate the person as a small scent of booze and fresh bread floats around the air. Piggy smells the air deeply and begins to follow the scent which leads him over to the poor Dwarf. Piggy hops over next to the Dwarf and begins to rub up against him Oinking and sniffing him trying to find the bread. The Dwarf unsure what to make of the situation quickly begins to push Piggy away grabbing onto the bread he left on his table. Piggy notices the bread and squeezes against the Dwarf reaching for the bread, trying to grab onto it to get a small nibble. The Dwarf takes this action as a threat and swings his fist, hitting Piggy in the face. Piggy flies backwards holding onto his now bleeding nose, squeeling in pain. The Knights of Arethor quickly surround the Dwarf and Piggy and a small quarrel begins between the Dwarf and the Knights. Both Piggy and the Dwarf are forcibly removed from Arethor, Piggy now scared of the dwarf begins to run away in about every direction possible, the Dwarf sighs turning around walking to the nearest tavern.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

Piggy approaches the situation with a bit of caution, sniffing the air for food. Piggy approaches the Orc first and smells it before heading over to the dwarf and smelling him for food. He watches the Orc and Dwarf continue to throw insults and threaten eachother, tilting his head watching the situation unfold he walks between the two and begins to jump up and down trying to get their attention. Both the Orc and Dwarf glare at Piggy jumping before the Orc suddenly roars, grabbing onto Piggy’s neck and throwing him at the Dwarf. The Dwarf steps to the side and Piggy skids across the ground, slowly he gets back up as the Dwarf and Orc unsheathe their weapons and begin to fight. Piggy dusts himself off before running around squeeling hoping to calm the situation down, although that is not the case and the Dwarf falls in the battle. Piggy squeels loud as the Dwarf falls onto the ground bleeding and runs around in circles before darting off at the sound of the Orc slowly stepping closer to Piggy. The Orc chuckles as Piggy squeels and runs away before he grabs onto the Dwarf’s body and begins to drag it off towards the War Uzg.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:

Piggy rushes over to the pile of coins and begins to roll around in them throwing them up in the air and playing with them until he gets bored. Once bored Piggy’s attention would return to the old man, he would remember the Old Farmer who took care of him and try and help the Old Man up off the ground. Piggy would ensure the Old Man is not injured and sniff him for any food. If any food is smelt off the Old Man Piggy would playfully bounce atop the man searching for the food. When the old man begins to leave Piggy would walk beside him to help the Old Man keep his balance. Piggy would hope wherever he is now going he will get food. Piggy will also try and make friends with the Old Man, and try to communicate with him with his oinks and broken common. If the old man and Piggy become friends he will most likely enter the role of another mans pet animal, that is if the Old Man does not realize Piggy is a Halfling.

Any sign of escape during the fight Piggy would take it and run until he can’t run no more.
