    In-Character Information:

Complete the following biography on your character:

    Full Name: Maelorin Malin

    Current Age: 23

Sub-race (if any): Half Wood Elf/ Half Northerner

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

The father was brutish and rugged. The human was taller than most and wider than a bear. The father was the most highly skilled swordsman I have ever seen. The father was ruthless. This man was here only for a short time, but we were glad his kind came to our aid. These humans were here to help us push back the undead from our towns and our farms. The father saved many lives. He created life as well. Aryial gave birth to Maelorin months after the father had returned to his home. Aryial was an extremely skilled huntress who had held her own in the war against the undead. That is how she met this human, this father. She loved the father, that human, but he loved his people. Our people were not so loving of the child. They knew he was a bastard as well as a halfbreed, and they did not keep this from his ears. The child was born in to hatred, but his mothers love overcame that.

He grew, and he trained. I watched him practice, I watched him survive, and I watched him surpass. His natural build and gifts from his ancestors gave him the power of many Elves. He was an agile bear. As this runt transformed in to a lion he gained the respect of many. The tales of his astonishing feats rang across the land. Maelorin the Slayer of Wolves, Maelorin the Harbinger of Truth, and Maelorin the Half Elf who Overcame! His sword was an extension of his arm, and his bow an extension of his eyes. He had the love of his people now, and still the love of his mother.

However... I always saw the emptiness in his eyes. Even as I trained him I knew what he longed for, and I knew I could never fulfill his wants, his needs. As I taught him to craft his own weapons, as I taught him to wield them, and as I taught him to become them, he still had emptiness in his eyes. After all the great things that had come to him in his yet short life. He was not complete or content. He had to find the father.

Ambitions for the Future: He must find his father to fulfill his emptiness within.

Personality: He hides his need for love very well. He does this with humor and power.

Skills: Master with a sword and an extremely skilled archer.

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):

Any other details you wish to share about your character: Maelorin has the ears of an Elf. He is around 6’9 and around 245lbs. He could pass for a human if his ears are covered. Maelorin gets along with certain wildlife oddly well. Maelorin is of great heart.

    Open-Response-Questions

Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.

    ____

    1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?

Answer: I have been in this child's situation far too many times. I know that he must feel hurt, upset... mad. I run towards them and step in front of the child. I will demand answers as to why they deem it necessary to harass this child. How would they like to be picked on by someone far larger and more dangerous than themselves I ask. If the fight is necessary I will engage, but I hope it is not. I do not want this child too see what will become of these sick old fools.

    2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

Answer: I have been raised by a loving mother and grandfather. I have learned the simple rule to treat others in ways you wish to be treated. I would jog over to the elderly man and help him up first. I would then quickly scoop up his money and pouch so that he may be on his way. If he needs assistance to get to a particular place I would be grateful to help if it is on the way to my destination. The destination is of great importance though, so I shall not trail from it.

    3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

Answer: There is one item that catches my eye. He seems to have a fine selection of steel tipped arrows. I always keep my money scattered in separate pockets in case a quick hand comes near. This situation allows for use of this petty habit. I explain to him the need for the arrows and he gives me price. I pull my right coat pocket clean claiming that its all I have, and that it is a bit below the asking price. The man looks on to me, and he can see no lies. He says that he would, but he is short on supply at the moment, but he would have done it for a coin more. Luckily, I have that coin.
