    In-Character Details

    Character Name: Sa'Koykan Warpelt

    Character Race: Kharajyr

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Koykan is 17 years old and belongs to the sub-race Kha' Leparda. She is a Female and while one of her eyes is a deep green, the other looks as though it is made of ancient amber. She always carries around a golden bronze necklace given from her mother when she was just a young kit. Her fur is thin and susceptible to the cold so she cover's her torso instead of the common tradition of leaving it bare. She has fur similar to the wild ocelot and is often told she resembles her wild ancestors. Koykan once had a silk ribbon she tied upon her tail but it was lost and torn in a fight with a wild boar. Her nose is a inky black and leathery like the rest of her family tree. Koykan is a hard to understand Kharajyr. She is kind yet when it comes to loyalty she will always obey, yet want to have a say in the matter. Koykan often obeys without question and will try to work hard to impress and stay a model figure for others. Being lower-class she has accepted as a part of her natural life but it won't stop her from defending those who can't afford common luxuries in the daily life. Koykan is most devoted to nature and always makes sure to thank Metztli for her life and every piece of game she bags. Me does not yearn for companionship but is quite solitary and confined. Koykan would often make something herself then buy something made as she would like to learn the secrets of said skill. Koykan often tries many times before admitting defeat. Koykan sometimes goes out of the way to stand out dispute what others may think of her actions.

Koykan is almost always honest but will lie on small and minor things. Koykan is confident in her skills and makes sure not to strut in pride and selfishness. She often leaves extra meat for the elders of her kind who can not afford such heavy meals.

Koykan was born with no siblings and little to do as a kitten. One night when she was only 5 years of age, Koykan snuck into the jungle and found a small nimble creature that was unmistakably the ocelot. It kept her warm through the night until she was found by her mother not far in the jungle. She was told of this story growing up and always remembered how lovely the land of the wild beasts was to her. When she was 12 her visits to the jungle were so frequent that her father taught her how to use the bow so he no longer would have to walk with her when she explored the jungle. Just one year later, Koykan used the skill to feed those in need and make extra money for her family as well as make leather armor for when she hunted. She also learned to read on that same year, and learned about the many herbs that would preserve meats longer then salt plus no negative taste as the kharajyr like their meat sweet.

When Koykan came of age, she bought a small home next to the jungle and took it upon herself to feed the ocelots that soon learned that she would allow them to eat the unwanted parts of meat that no-one would buy for their bitter taste. When her parents died of old age she gave the belongings to those who needed it more and learned to cope without someone who looks after you. Koykan, in all, lived to help the poor and hunt in the untamed lands of the jungle.

What are your characters ambitions?:Koykan dreams of a higher class or a life where she is always praised and can bring down the biggest of game. She also wishes to feed those who need her food more then she does.

Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here:HL3UM.png

Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: Koykan was taught at a young age how to use a bow and arrow with much skill despite her poor family. She also knows how to clean the meat of an animal and skin one for leather. She is handy with a hunting knife and is often called "Snake-tounge" by her family because she knows just how to get what she wants with honeyed words. Though she is lower-class she is known by some in the social classes above her to be a good huntress for her age.

    Open-Response-Questions

Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? I look at the "ape" and scowl, he looks just as terrible as the rest of the humans in the city. I think of the ape kharajyr and wonder how they can bear living with such beasts. But not before long my eyes fall on a jar of sugared honey and I try not to droll at the sight of it. "I see you like that," The dwarf muses, "I could give it to ya real cheap, it's not every day I find a customer!" I hesitate and lay down my coin before walking off with what feels like 5 pounds of honey. When I drive back home from my journey I make sure to tell no one that I got such sweet honey from an ape, knowing they will judge me.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? I chuckle and stay to watch the two fight, arena battles often were fought with Kharajyr due to the shortage of prisoners these days. After the two tear each other apart I notice the dwarf seems to be holding a large pouch of orcish made coins. I scowl and draw out my dagger and hack the pouch lose from the dwarf and return it to the orc before walking off disgusted with how the apes behave. The orc gives me a dirty look before going back to hacking the dwarf to bits with a green tinted steel mace. I wonder how such a small ape could have stole Minas from such a large orc. After giving the idea some thought, I head back to the jungle and finish my day with a meal of buttered rabbit leg.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: I look at the old man with pity yet I am reminded that this is a dirty creature I am dealing with. I snap of the branch of a elm tree near the ape and hand him it before hoisting him upright as forcefully as I can without hurting him. I do not bother to pick up his minas but leave the scene. When the old man thanks me I pull down my hood so he can see my furry ears and silted eyes and watch as he looks as though I am a monster to be hanged. He tosses an insult and a walk back and snap the elm branch in two before and watch as he falls right back on his back. "Yous could haveea at least thankeda me you dirty ape!" And I walk of angerly

  2. I find while this may be great, It also gives an unfair advantage to the kharajyr. Also many players may unfairly acquire a Gy'waka and or abuse it in warfare as well as many other situations. Though I love every single bit of this, If it were to be added, I would advise strict rules concerning gy'waka use.

    _---Situational Rp Questions---_

    1.

As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies. How do you react?: I look at the "ape" with disgust toss him a piece of hunting bait, rotting to attract large game such as predators and or feed the ocelots out of pure pity. If he asks for more I will draw my knife and tell him firmly that this land is for the kharajyr and the kharajyr only, as well as he is lucky I did not capture him out of pure spite and see how much rain he will bring for the crops in the spring. If this does not scare him off or if he resists I will personly knock him out cold with the hilt of my knife and drag him to a priest for both a reward, rid of the foul creature and most importanly, keep the location of Xer'Tlaasu safe from outsiders.

    2.

As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak.

"Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!"

He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?: I chuckle to try to hold back my rising anger at the stout ape before hearing he throws another insult, not about me, but my kin, the ocelot. I twist around and cut the dwarf's beard with unsheathed claws, ripping his ponytailed beard into a frizzy and hideous mess and watch as the tavern goes dead silent to where you can hear the hair hit the untidy floor below. I break the silence and chuckle and wave the claws in front of his shocked face. "Forgot I had these did yah dwarf?" I ask, "They rip into flesh just as easily as they do your beard." Without a final word I lay down my coin for the stay and slam the door behind me, still leaving the bar silent until I leave.

    3.

One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response? I sit down in shock and try to think thorough what he said, I later speak and once I find out why find my partner was influenced by hallucinogenic effects a cake he had a few minutes before the incident. I am torn in two and when he recovers I tell him we no longer should meet and I dismiss him from my house hold, half disgusted, half feeling betrayed and lied to. If he is to ever come back I will give him one last warning before hinting his actions to a authority figure and hope for the best yet feel as though I did the right thing.

Do you swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and do you swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred? I swear to follow the Tlatlanni and uphold his law, and I swear to hold Metztli and all of her actions as sacred.
