In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Roleplaying is the act of acting as a character and making specific decisions that affects their life whether it's within a game or in real life.
In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Meta-gaming is the act of taking out of character information and bringing it into a roleplay environment to give you or others an unfair advantage.
In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Power-emoting is the act of making a decision within emote form that doesn't give the person that you are emoting at to retaliate to it.
In-Character Details
Character Name: Louis Lancaster
Character Race: Human
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Louis is 6'3" which is rather tall for a human ,but practical at the least. He also weighs about 195 lbs which isn't heavy at all for his size and stature. Louis is 31 years old and has brown hair and eyes to match. He is what most women would consider a rather attractive individual. Louis is not clean shaven. He almost always has either some kind of stubble or a budding pair of mutton chops. Whatever the case, women still seem to fall all over him.
Louis, who pronounces his name like "Loui" and not like "Lewis", is what most people would consider a normal man. He was born in the great human capital of Areathor. The birth of him killed his mother which was not an uncommon thing for this time period. The death of his mother hadn't really affected him at all since he didn't know her. At age 12 his father, Argial Lancaster, started to show him basic skills. Anything from barter to bow fighting, he learned it all. By the time he was 20 he was a well rounded individual. At 21 he quested out for the elven nation of Malinor to learn the arts.
Louis returned to see that his father had gotten engaged to an elven woman by the name of Amoura Oheira. Louis was more than excited for his father, so they went out on the town pub hopping. They woke up the next morning in a stable in Solace with no recollection of what happened. To this day neither of them knows what happened. By age 29 Louis had to say farewell to his father and his wife as they wanted to set sail and explore the world. Louis, now age 31, wants only to constantly expand on his knowledge of the arts and of combat. He spends most of his time exploring the lands of Asulon seeking knowledge and one day he may even reunite with his father.
What are your characters ambitions?: To explore the world and constantly expand on his knowledge.
Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: Louis is also a kind man and would do almost anything for even a stranger, within reason.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? Louis, knowing that bartering isn't the easiest occupation, stop and gives then the dwarf a pouch of coin.This action resulted in the two of them sparking a conversation. He uses his gift of tongue to carry on an interesting conversation with the dwarf. By the end of the conversation him and the dwarf had seem to become best of friends. Louis can obviously see that the dwarf isn't making much of a living with his attempt at being a shop keeper and he tries to convince the man to join his journey across the world. His attempts are successful and him and the dwarf remain partners till the dwarf can get enough money to actually open a shop with no financial problems.
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? Louis is a strong and fierce fighter and could easily take out the orc. He doesn't do this though. Louis believes in resolution before conflict. He goes over to the dwarf and helps him off the ground. This immediately sparks a problem between the orc and him. Louis is not scared of the orc so he confidently tries to convince the orc to walk away from the situation. The orc is almost convinced but he is stubborn. Louis bribes the orc with a money pouch which seals the deal and the orc walks away.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: Louis goes with his first instinct and immediately helps the man up to his feet but the man falls back down. Louis responds with helping him sit up. After this he grabs the coins that the man dropped and gives it back to the man. Louis sees that the man's walking stick had broken. He responds to this going to a nearby tree and rips off a branch. He gives it to the man after helping him to his feet for a second time. He urges to continue on with the old man till he can find an inn but the old man insists that he will be fine. Louis continues to walk on his way to Malinor but he continued to worry about the old man. He turns around and follows the man to make sure he makes it safely. He does and then Louis can now travel on his way knowing the old man is fine.
