I think Hiebe was talking about the travel distance in Aegis.. I don't think horses were a thing in Aegis..

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): Yes, I have a few questions about the Combat system.

1) If you are in the middle of some passive roleplay with another person, and that person suddenly gets violent, can that person then call mechanical combat even though you haven't done anything to deserve it?

2) If a person walks up to you and tries to rob you of everything, can you then defend yourself in roleplay, without them calling mechanical combat on you? Because then it would be a choice to either die in roleplay without defending yourself, or to die in mechanical combat because they choose that form to fight.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? I found out about it through friends, and I've been surfing the forums now and then, but never really thought about joining till now.

What is roleplaying?: Well, by definition roleplay is to take the role as a character, and make actions through him or hers point of view. Perhaps your character would choose a different decision then you would yourself. This is also a part of the creation of your own roleplay agenda.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is where your character knows something that him or her should not, which ofcourse break the illusion of a consistent roleplaying experience. You could also break the Metagaming rule, by telling friends your location in OOC. This also break the immersion of quality roleplay.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is where your character either becomes almost invinceble, or where your character breaks the server lore. This could be by doing actions for other characters through your emotes, which brings the illusion that you are controlling the other persons character.

I chose to read up on the server lore, and found it interesting that there are so many different types of creatures and magic-types, but it states in the rules that you aren't allowed to roleplay any other than the main races, why is this excactly?

Character’s name: Thael Arcitectus

Character’s gender: Male

Character’s race: High Elf

Character’s age: 86

Biography: Born in the early Anthos, Thael was a proud little high elf, who believed in his own abilities, and at a young age started to dream big of himself. This was to be a mistake by young Thael, as he were later bullied in the highelven college of Haelun'or. This was due to his overconfidence and his ability to look at things in a new way. Thael had a hard time learning the proper elven tounge, yet at home his father plagued him to continue his studies. Mylas, his father, was a great architect in a whole line of ancestors who were architects, and from that came his lastname, Arcitectus. It was not because Thaels mother had no say in this, she thought that Thael was a great name for such a wonderful boy, she always told him.

In the later years of Thaels life, he has become more and more interested in his fathers and ancestors work. He then one day got a task from his father, to design a whole house for a family who needed Mylas help. Since he was too busy to do it himself, due to another much greater project, thus he asked Thael for help. Thael must have been around 45 elven years, when the design for the house was finished. Ofcourse Mylas had already made the design, and already build almost half of the structure, he took Thaels design and looked at it for a while. He was so proud of his son, he later build a house directly from the design that Thael had put together.

Thaels mother was a very quiet woman, I don't think it was because she wanted to be quiet, it must have been that there weren't anything for her to say around the dinner table, since Mylas and Thael kept talking about their 'new plan', as they called every new house design they came up with. No.. Thaels mother was much more careful with her words, I guess you could call her thoughtful. Thael and Mylas knew however that she was the smartest person in the family, and they both respected her greatly.

When Thael graduated from the Haelun'or college, he immediately started working side by side with his father, to create structures around the world. This he has done ever since, and will continue to do so forth..

Personality Traits: Thael is a very quick talking, and decisive person. He can get confusing to talk with for a long period of time. And he values his work over other things, such as love and friends.

Ambitions: Thael wants to be a known architect which structures can be seen throughout the realm.

Strengths/Talents: Thael is a very talkative which is one of his talents, he is also capable of watching things which is not even there yet. He has alot of skill towards designing the infrastructure of different things.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: He can be a very annoying person to talk with sometimes, and he is also going to shy away from using a sword, perhaps talk his way around it. He is also views almost every person equally which can sometimes play against him, and were also one of the reasons he were bullied in Haelun'or when he were younger.

- Eyes: Blue/Grayish
- Hair: Grayish
- Health: Healthy
- Inventory: Walks around with his paperwork sometimes.
- Further Details: Not that old clothes, but it is rather worn.
