Yes, I have been a part of one other RP Server; Celestial Dreams. I left for personal reasons and decided to try LOTC. I have been told I am a pretty good RPer and have been doing RP for a few months.

How did you hear about the Lord of the Craft?:

As you may know Celestial Dreams was formed by a group of members from LOTC, so I heard it from them.

In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is:

Roleplaying, is when you think of a character- one who is usually not like your own self in real life- and take on that character's life by acting as them and fully immersing yourself in their personality instead of your own.

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is:

Meta-gaming is the act of using information gained out of character while in character. For example; I'm on Skype with a friend who plays on the server and he's at my house, he tells me on Skype, that there are bandits there robbing from me. Using that information to then go back to my house to stop the bandits would be meta-gaming.

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is:

Power-emoting is usually used when one person uses an emote to force a situation in RP against another person's will to do so. Common examples would be *Bob pulls out a knife and kills Steve killing him instantly. or *Bob pulls out a knife, demands Steve give him money and then walks away with Steve's money. Both examples give the Steve character any say in the situation.

The Terumi family is a proud family, historically made up of merchants and the like and those who make there mark on the world to gain money or power. The Terumis were a family renowned for their money and ability to create a good time and a better ale. However, after years of happiness, disaster struck. In a series of events regarded in the family as "The Orc Devastation" the family was attacked and their resources stolen. Little was left to the family other then their recipes and their hope. The Terumis, still a proud family fought to stay together for years after the devastation but with none of their vast resources left to them and little money to spend, many family members seemed to vanish into Asulon and never be heard of again.. But such was not to say for two Terumis; Cardwell and Devin Terumi.

Cardwell was a fine man, known in his youth as an ale master and "Lord of the Drink" but the after the devastation struck the family, Cardwell was no longer his happy self. He found himself with little will to brew his drinks and even less to aspire the return of his fortune. He still had a little joy in his life though. Cardwell was not alone as the last Terumi, he had his young son; Devin with him. Devin Terumi was a handsome child with a dark crimson hair and dark black eyes. Cardwell took Devin with him as he traveled Asulon searching for a better life and taught his young son some of the trade. As Devin grew in age, he also grew in his resilience to his father's sad attitude and dreamed of a happier life. His father told him endless stories of how the Terumis were once a great family with endless seas of money to use. Devin grew with these stories and each day he lived and each story he heard made him want one thing...The Terumi Fortune.

It was at the young age of 17 that Devin sought to start his quest for the Terumi fortune. His father was slowly getting weaker and Devin was not oblivious to the fact his father would soon die. He thought about what to do for many months as he watched his father die. Finally coming to the resolution that there was nothing he could do to save his father, he decided the best thing to do was begin his own life. He waited two years until his father was on his death bed before he told his father his plan. He told his father that he would leave on a journey. He would travel Asulon and return the Terumi name to that it once was. His father looked at Devin and nodded he told him that he believed that it was destiny that Devin be left as the last Terumi to restore the family name to that it once was. Before Cardwell Terumi finally died he gave his son one thing. The Terumi family recipe book. Cardwell told Devin that this book would be his greatest chance to save the name. The book was full of recipes, recipes that before the devastation were the lifeline of the Terumis. Each Terumi had left there own mark in this book. There own recipe and trademark. The Terumi book of recipes, made up of generation worth of recopies would be the saving grace of Devin Terumi, and the answer to restoring the Terumi name.

What are your characters ambitions?:

Devin's true ambition in life is to restore the name of his family and regain the "Terumi Fortune"

Devin tries to be optimistic no matter what the situation, he is not an alcoholic, but he can drink a few ales if he's in the mood. Devin has a good business sense, one inherited from his ancestors and one he plans on using to restore his fortune.

Upon entering the MightyHumanCity of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by.The shopkeeper isnot a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city.Whatis your response?

As Devin enters the city of Arethor, he looks around taking in the scents and sounds of the city. He walks by a small market stall and sees a poor looking dwarf shouting out his wares. Devin examines this man and with little money himself, he throws a few minas towards the dwarf and gives a charming smile. He walks up to the dwarf introduces himself and gets into a friendly conversation leaving soon after hoping he has made a connection in this new city.

You’re wandering the OrenRoad late at night,when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf.Thereisno help nearby,and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

Devin walks down the Oren road, enjoying the silence of being alone and whistling as tune as he walks. He suddenly stops only to see an Orc threatening a nearby Dwarf. Devin shudders, thinking back to his fathers horrible stories of the orcs and makes a decision. Instead of helping the dwarf, he runs into the forest next to the road and quietly passes the two without being observed.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man.His walking stick , looks weak and frail,and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks,and the man falls to the ground.As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground,and splits open.As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man.What does your character do?: As Devin walks towards Malinor, he notices an old looking man in front of him. This man has fallen and looking around Devin notices two things; a broken cane and a pile of coins on the ground. Devin goes over to the side of the road breaks off a large branch from a tree and returns to the man's side. He hands the man the branch to use as a cane and begins to gather the coins. Looking at the old man, Devin considers how old this man is and how soon he will probably die...He bends down to the ground and decides to gather half of the coins for himself and the other half for the man. Without showing his half of the pile, Devin give the man the other half and starts on his way, quickly leaving the man in the distance.
