    In-Character Information:

Complete the following biography on your character:

    Full Name: Beatrix Threepwood

    Current Age: 29

    Sub-race (if any): No Sub-race.

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+
    paragraphs long):

Beatrix Threepwood grew up in the peasant village of Ager with her farther Robin, and her mother Muriel. The farm was mainly wheat, which Beatrix and her mother would make into bread to sell to the other residents of the village. Her parents also owned some of the only cows in the village. Most of the cows were used for milk and some were slaughtered for meat.

The Threepwood farm generated very little income, due to failing crops and illness amongst the cattle. The little income meant that food was very basic and usually consisted of two slices of bread a day, and some milk.
Beatrix was a very intelligent child however and would often be found writing poetry, but her shyness prevented anyone other than her parents from reading it. Beatrix’s mother taught her to read and write during the long winter months while farming was quiet.

As Beatrix got older, her mother finally convinced her to allow other’s to read her poetry. The villagers were astounded by her skills, and asked Beatrix if she’d be interested in giving some out so the rest of the village could see her work. Her poems were even given out to merchants. Merchants were common in Ager, as they often passed through on their way to Arethor, just north of Ager. One day a man named Brevik Morgan knocked on the door to the Threepwood household, and requested to see Beatrix. Surprised and very nervously, Beatrix came to the door.

Brevik and Beatrix began meeting up regularly so that he could take her poems to sell them at a market, however the regular business brought the two of them closer and closer together. On one bright spring morning, Brevik presented Beatrix with a large sum of minas so that she could go and live a new life with him in Arethor. Beatrix was delighted and couldn’t wait to tell her parents.

At dusk of the following day, Brevik set out on his carriage to Hanseti, not knowing of the poisonous fog lingering on the boarder between Ager and Hanseti. Brevik presumed the poisonous fog was just because of the time of day, and started into it. The fog soon over came him, causing him to loose control of his carriage and to fall to a silent death.

The news of Brevik’s death hit Beatrix hard. Everything in the village of Ager reminded her of him, after all it was where they used to sped all their time together; Lying down in the wheat fields watching the clouds, going for long walks through the small woodland and sipping ale in the tavern.

A week or so later, some bandits broke into Beatrix’s house. They demanded minas. Terrified, Beatrix handed almost all the minas that Brevik had given her over to the bandits. They cheered as they left the small log house with hundreds of minas. Beatrix couldn’t put up with it anymore. She’d lost her love and now her only chance of living a life away from Ager. Counting up the money, she realized she had just enough to get her to Arethor by a small carriage, and then have money left over to stay in a tavern until she found a job.

Beatrix’s farther kissed her hand as she climbed onto the carriage, and she promised him that she would make enough money to get him and her mother to Arethor. To give all three of them a new start. A tear slid down her face as the carriage began to roll away from the village she’d lived in for twenty nine years.
“To Arethor” she told the coachman with a faint smile on her lips.

Ambitions for the Future: Her ambition is to work up enough minas to allow her parents to live comfortably in the city of Arethor, and relieve them from their stressful farm.

Personality: She’s very intelligent, however she’s timid and doesn’t have much self belief.

Skills: She excels in the farming skill, as she has helped her parents on the farm from a young age. She is also very skilled with cooking because she used to make exceptional meals from the produce produced from the farm. Her main skill is writing as she is very recognized in her home Village of Ager.

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your
    skin):

Beatrix has deep blue long hair and very pale skin, with big brown eyes. She’s very small and slender and quite weak, as she has never found the need to build up muscles.

    ____

    • Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a
dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do
      you do?

    Answer:

Beatrix measures the distance between her and the guards. She doesn’t want to alert the dark-clothed figure that she’s getting the guards. Instead of shouting for them, she hurriedly rushes over to them.
“You have to stop him, a darkly clothed man is making his way towards the palace” she tells the guards in a worried voice.

Guard1 laughs at Beatrix’s accusation, and looks down at Beatrix with a superior expression.
“Ye eyes be playing tricks. There be no one near the palace” He replies, dismissing the matter, and shooing Beatrix away.

Beatrix is taken aback by his lack of concern. She looks Guard1 in the eyes, then guard2.
“You must believe me sir, my eyes not be playing tricks.  I beg you to do something; I believe he could be dangerous” She pleads, clasping her hands together.

The guards look around them, trying to spot the man.
“Which direction was he headed then?” asks the Guard1, sighing heavily, clearly not having time to deal with this.

Beatrix points towards the small door beside a stack of freshly cut logs. A worried, but curious look on her face. She is almost certain that it was the door he had entered through.
“I think he’s going in through that side door!” she replies, shifting her weight anxiously.
Guard2 sighs heavily and looks at Guard1, who’s rolling his eyes.
“Let’s go take a look then” he finally says, reaching for his shortsword, then makes his way towards the door.

    2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come
across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it
stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two
heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with
leather armor and an iron longsword, how do you react?

    Answer:
Beatrix notices that the bandit’s backs are facing her. she holds her longsword up to the moon light so it reflects, catching the old man’s attention. She make’s eye contact with him, and motions for him to stay calm, a reassuring smile spreads across her face.

She slips behind a near by spruce tree and picks up some heavy cobblestone rocks from the base of the tree. she beings throwing them into the forest, causing loud crackling sounds, distracting the bandits.

Bandit1 looks around him, scanning to see where the sound is coming from. He doesn’t notice that Beatrix is standing behind the tree. Bandit2 shoves Bandit1 forward.
“Go see what be making that noise” commands Bandit2 with clear dominance.
Bandit1 complies and stealthily approaches the thick forest surrounding the clearing.

Beatrix waits until Bandit1 has disappeared into the forest, before silently approaching the old man and Bandit2.

Beatrix clears her throat to catch Bandit2’s attention. Bandit2 spins round, and points his knife in Beatrix’s direction. She draws her longsword to show the bandit that she is also armed.
“Let this man go sir” She commands steadily, but with a threatening undertone.

Bandit2 laughs, and sizes up Beatrix.
“You’re armed with an iron blade. Come on sir, you can’t expect this to defend yourself against me” says Beatrix, a small half smile appearing on her lips.
“Leave now, and there be no trouble”

Bandit2 looks from his iron blade, to Beatrix’s longsword. He growls under his breath before stalking past her into the dark forest.

3.You are standing within the mighty human capital when
you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the
stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says
that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is
willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain:
your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

    Answer:
Beatrix approaches the stall with an open friendly smile. Her eyes go straight to the beautiful glistening jewelry.  A stunning green necklace glints in the light and catches her eye. She picks up the emerald necklace. She gently turns it over in her fingers, and holds it up to the light.

The small man grins at her warmly,
“Ah, that be pleasing you woman?” he asks

Beatrix returns the warm smile, “It’s beautiful, was this mined straight from the desert?” she asks in awe of the beautiful necklace.

“Aye” he replies, “Tis the finest quality”

Beatrix thinks for a moment, admiring the necklace “I’ll give you fifty minas for it?”

The small man shakes his head, “It’s worth more than that woman. One hundred minas and its yours”

“How about seventy-five minas?” she replies, staring at the necklace longingly

The small man sighs, “Well woman, seeing how this necklace pleases you, and matches your eyes so well, I’ll give you it for seventy-five minas” He says smiling, and gently taking the necklace from Beatrix.

Beatrix is delighted, “Oh thank-you kind sir!” she exclaims, handing over the seventy-five minas.
She gratefully takes the necklace in a small wooden box from the man and places it in her basket.

“Thank-you for your custom good woman” says the old man, waving as Beatrix walks away.
