  1. Elian, being typically absent-minded in his music, bumps into the post. "Oof! Who pu' tha' 'ere?" He reads it quickly, and smiles. "Hmm, ah dun' know if they'd accep' tavern bards." In his own curiosity, he writes "Tavern Bard", and signs his name, Elian Lightfoot.

  2. Out-Of-Character Information
Please fill out the following questions as accurately as possible, and ensure the essential details are accurate.

    Minecraft Account Name:

    John791.

    How old are you?:

I'm 13, but don't underestimate me for my age. I will completely understand if I am given restrictions due to my age, though.

    Time-Zone:

I live in Eastern Standard Time.

Have you read, understood and agreed to the rules?:

Yes, and I promise to follow them to their full extent.

What previous experience have you had in role-playing?:

I've played on many other roleplay servers, but I haven't been on one with this much lore and it intrigues me. I've also played WoW and tried to roleplay on there.

How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?:

Well, I've heard about it from many people, because it appears to be that popular, it's even been talked about on other servers.

Link any applications that you have previously made for the server:

I'm new, so I currently don't have any other applications for this server.

Have you posted this application on the Minecraft Forum? If not, then please do so (link above):

No, I have not yet, but I will soon.

Have you read the Elven lore, and shall you ensure you make use of it and follow it in your biography?:

I will. I thoroughly enjoyed it while reading it, as well.

    Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:

Role-playing: Acting as another character, as if you were in a play, but you write each line.

Meta-gaming: Using information in roleplay that you learned from another character outside of roleplay.

Power-emoting: Another term could also be godmodding, or power-gaming. It is being seemingly "invincible", by not being able to be defeated, or killed, such as: "*dodges every hit the enemy throws at him, and uses his ultimate attack, killing them all instantly*"

    In-Character Information:

Findecáno Falassion was born of human and high elf blood, and his father considered it cursed, who was a purebred high elf. His father locked him in his room and refused to talk to him, and neglected him. Basically, he'd disowned him, while still allowing him to live in the household. One day, he decided that he had had enough....(cue backstory)

Complete the following biography on your character:

    Full Name:

    Findecáno Falassion

    Current Age:

100, which would be roughly 18 in elf years?

    Sub-race (if any):

    High Elf

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

It was as if time had slowed down. As he climbed down the window in the dead of night, his mind was set on one thing- to meet his friends at the shrine. Findecáno Falassion had been born of human and Mali'Aheral ancestry. For that, his father disowned him, but allowed him to live in the household, but never talked to his hybrid offspring. Altina Falassion was his mother. She was the first human to come into the family tree of the House of Falassion. However, his father, Matthias Falassion, was overwhelmed with grief and despair, and laid the root of the problem on Findecáno. He treated him as if he were a ghost, and avoided the very presence of him. Even eye to eye contact seemed as a threat to his father. His father blamed him for everything, and whipped him when he tried to explain the truth. He knew how hard it was to stay young, while all your human friends wither away, age, and die.

At age 13 in Elven years, he promised himself to never cry anymore. He also realized that this vow also meant that he had to cook and work independently, as if he lived by himself. On a nightly basis, he climbed outside the window to view the town. One night, he'd seen knights kill each other in battle. The sight of swords disgusted him. He was more interested in weapons that sedated, and did not kill, such as staves. He began to study into the realm of magic. He could not master the art, however. He was also skilled in playing the violin, which he had stolen from his father a fortnight before. He played in the town square, and earned a fair amount of money for it. His father was disgusted with what he'd seen, or was he? He was again overwhelmed with grief, because Altina played the violin to Matthias in dire times to soothe him. When Findecáno returned, he gave him another whipping. "This is the final time," he vowed. He had a few close friends. Allania was his closest friend, since she was the first child he had met. Same went for Allania, as well. Allania and Findecáno had devised a plan to escape from their miserable lives in the dead of night. They would meet in the town shrine to Malin. He'd gathered the coin he'd won from the other day, and a staff to protect his friends. He also put his violin in his satchel, to allow entertainment on the way. Then, in the impenetrable darkness, he climbed out the window and escaped. He did not see his friends at the shrine, so he guessed that his comrades must have been at the town gates. They were.

As Findecáno approached, he saw two other figures. They were two of his other close friends, Lula and Zaos. Zaos was a very thievish person, stealing from the town vendors and escaping the grip of guards. Lula was a shy person, and is very anti-social due to his father's treatment. They all had something in common, all three of them- They were all mistreated as children and were High Elves.

If was as if they were connected by an invisible thread,
bound by invisible ties. The four of them, trying to get away, get away from
the world. They went. Some of them planned this, the others have just had
enough. As the night got darker, and the fog got thicker, they all came to a
stop. Each of them saw each other, only slightly through the fog. Lula, stepped
forward slowly saying "Um- hello…?" Findecáno Falassion trotted
forward with a determined face. “Are we doing this or what? We have to get out
of here. It’s quite ironic, really. It’s as if this moment was planned by fate

itself.” Allannia looked at them all with scared eyes, but there was a sparkle of hope in them. For the first time in years, she smiled. It wasn't a very big smile, but it was still a smile. "Where would we go...? Do we have no plan at all?" she asked them all, still seeming skeptical. Findecáno’s eyes sparkled, like they always did when he had a master plan, or seemed confident.
“Well…..we just need to get away from here. We could make a living, somehow, but for now, we just need to get away.” The four looked towards the horizon. This was when their adventure began.

(Thanks for reading my story, btw, if you see a few parts that look copied, I'm supposed to know a few players.)

    Ambitions for the Future:

He seeks to find a better future for himself, and with his four comrades.

    Personality:

Findecáno is very kind-hearted, and virtuous, a pleasant counterpart to the father that disowned him. He has put the past behind him, and has become stronger in the process. He has no problem talking about his past, but he still has nightmares of the whip his father used on him when he was just a kinchin. He is very polite, and good with children. One day, he wishes to be a parent.

    Skills:

As a High Elf, he is naturally skilled in the fine arts and herbalism, but mostly uses a staff, thus making him a medic on the battlefield due to his vast knowledge on field medicine. He also carries tomes of the ancient language, and can decipher them. He has tried time and again to activate the magical power of the tomes, to no avail. Perhaps, one day, he may find someone who can wield the power of the tomes.

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):

He wears a blue robe, and carries a staff, along with a bag of herbs. He carries as little as possible, so as to be stealthy, in case he encounters bandits indirectly. He also uses a makeshift bow, that his father made for him before Altina died. He also has a brand that he hides, that surfaced due to his human and high elf ancestry.(The skin can be found at the bottom of the post)

Any other details you wish to share about your character:

He is skilled in combat with a staff, as he has counterattacked his father many times in his verbal and physical beatings. He is also skilled in painting and writing poems. Nevertheless, despite his cruel treatment, he turned out to be a kind, social, and positive person. He is very adventurous, but cautious, and tends to always explore tombs and dungeons found on his adventures.

    Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.

    ____

    1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?

Answer: As Findecáno sits in a forest clearing, admiring the scenery, he hears the sound of giggling and cackling. He quickly detects the source of the cruel noise and sees a group of his kind mocking a helpless Wood Elf child. Findecáno walks over to the group of his fellow Mali'Aheral, and stands up to them to defend the boy. He quickly scolds them about how we should follow the example of Malin, their ancestor. As the group walks away, disgruntled, Findecáno smiles at the child and comforts the small Wood Elf kinchin.

    2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

Answer: Findecáno plays music, wasting the day away on his violin. As he walks back to his home, taking a shortcut through the serene Elven forests, a zephyr blows through the trees. Then, something comes to his attention. He sees an old man with a money pouch fall to the ground. The frail old man is defenseless and seemingly harmless. Knowing Findecáno's kind-hearted nature, he quickly dashes over and helps the man up. He tries to be as gentle as possible, and gathers up the scattered coin. The old man thanks him, and Findecáno offers to walk him home.

    3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

    Answer:

While playing the violin on his rounds home, he discovers a merchant in a striped wagon sits. He finds that this is a good opportunity to restock on his weapons and provisions. Findecáno walks over to the merchant, being as polite as possible. "Excuse me, sir? Would it trouble you if I could buy a Physic staff?" The old man replies gruffly, "Aye. How much will it be?" "Hmm....I'm not really sure. Perhaps you could name the price?" "Hmmm.....15 coins?" "Deal!" The old man hands him the staff, and he walks off. However, after making the purchase, Findecáno feels guilty about the transaction. He returns to the man. "Eh? Back for more of my wares, youngin'?" "No, I'm here to hand you back this staff. You can keep the money, too. To make it fair, I will also give you five more coins to give back the staff." The old man smiles, and Findecáno walks back to his group of friends, mumbling to himself, "I should really rethink my haggling skills to avoid conning people..."
