    History
Aregon Blacktide was born to William and Chrisina Blacktide, a poor family who lived in Asulon.
As a child he was always up to mischief. During his time in Skarvia he was well know for dis-respecting his elders and terrorising pig-pens.
When he was ten years old, his parents moved to Arethor to start up a family business for shipping goods, which never took off leaving the Blacktides' in deep dept. Two years later, they lost their home and had to sell most of their possessions to stay in the city.
Now 16, Aregon wanted to travel. For a couple of months he went to stay with his uncle, Pierce, in Solace, where he developed a love for adventure. On his return to Arethor, he found out that his parents had been forced out of the city and no-one knew where they had gone.
For almost a decade Aregon searched for them. He traveled to the far reaches of Asulon, but had no success. At the age of 22, he bought back his old house in Arethor. He lived there for most of the time, but regularly visted Uncle Pierce.
During the fall of Asulon, he managed to make it to Elysium. There he bought a house and planned to settle down. However all did not stay so quite for long when he came across the news that his uncle had sadly passed away, leaving all of his belongings to Aregon.
Now 26, Blacktide was faced with a difficult decision. Should he stay and settle down or risk the journey. He decided to risk it. He found out that his uncle had managed to make it to Kalos. So he bought a place on a boat and traveled there. It took a while to get there, but he did it. However, upon his arrival to Kalos he found that someone else had bought his uncle's house and all of his stuff had been discarded..
Aregon now had nothing. He found a job and stayed there for about ten months just to get some money before making his way to this "New Land" he had been hearing so much about. And at the age of 34 the boats to Anthos had arrived!
On the day he turned 35 he finally reached Anthos. And that is where he has been for the past year.
Over the past while Aregon has made many new friends, and some enemies. The friends he sees quite a bit include Devon Overland, Tallanvor Alta'are and Kahlan Maehr'Tayna. He also knows an elf, Aelidar Elsil'sirame, that he calls his friend but he has really only seen once and didn't get along to well. He knows many of the shop keepers and citizens in New Abresi as well.

    1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer: I would approach the guard.
"Eh, I just saw a dark-clothed figure sneaking around near the palace. Think you better check it out, seeing as that is your job.
The guard looks at me. "Are you telling me how to do my job?" He looks at me in disgust for a short while, then turns his gaze towards the palace. "Where's this figure?"
    "Probable long gone now."
"Heh, well beat it then." The guard pushes me out of his way as he moves away to continues his patrol.
Not willing to let this go, I go up to the spot in which I spotted the figure. "Where are you..." I continue to walk in the direction he was walking and eventully come across an open window. "Oh crap."
I jump into the palace, and follow the trail of muddy footsteps until I reach a doorway. Standing under it is a man, clothed in a dark jacket, dagger drawn.
I acidently knock over vase and he turns to me. As he lunges at me, I conter him and tackle him to the ground. He stuggles, but a knock to his head stops him from moving.
Then I drag the body out of the window, and back to the guard. "Told you I saw something. Don't thank me, but I think I just saved the Emperor." I drop the body at his feet, and stroll off.

    2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

Answer: I would approch the bandits and say, "What is this? What reason do you have to be threatening this poor old man?"
The bandits turn to face me. "What do you care?" They start to walk towards me, their swords gripped firmly.
I grin, my goal now complete. I turn to old man. "Run, good sir!" And he does. He rushes out of the clearing, and I quickly lose sight of him.
"You just made your last mistake," The bandits say, as they run at me, weapons held high.
I move to defend myself, knowing that there is no way I'll be able to defeat these two bandits.
The bandits are now on either side of me. One of them swings his sword, and I quickly duck. The sword hits the other bandit, which causes him to buckly slighting. I take this chance and run.
I eventully come across a hole in the ground, and jump in. I stay there for a while until I know I have lost them.

    3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

    Answer: "Hello there," I say.
The small man looks up. "Why hello there. You look like the adventuring type. Need a new blade? I have plenty available."
    "Sure, I'll have a look."
He reaches under his counter and pulls up a small dagger, looks to be of elvish make. "I found this beauty during my trip to Leumalin last year. Cost me 227 Minas."
I pick it up, turning it around. I notice a small marking under the hilt of the blade. "What's this?"
The man looks at it. He suddenly begins to look nervous. "I... I have no idea what your talking about!"
I ****** the dagger back and take a closer look at it. "Is this... Is this a brand? You theiving little midget!"
The merchant jumps out his stall and begins to run. Being much taller than he is, I catch up pretty quickly, picking him up by his ears and carry him to the closest guard.
