  1. Dalari's ears perk up in keen interest upon hearing news of this development, her lips dipping into a disgusted grimace as she mutters to herself, "Druids have never and should never have separated due to race, all races may be children and dear servants to the Aspects." shaking her head, she begins to stroll away, continuing to mutter to herself in passing, "Only time will show the failure of this racial branch."

  2. Fantastic roleplayer; very knowledgeable on Server Lore as a whole, the Magic System, and has a keen specialty in Druidic Magic, which I would say he probably knows everything about (he's the person I refer all my questions on Druidic Lore to). To not include Callax to the MAT would be a disservice to the team. +

  3. MC Name: FriskyElectric

    Character Name: Makoro Mossrot
    Character Age: 73
    Appearance: Dirty, hairy, generally unkept.
Short Biography: Makoro's grandpa Mak always told Makoro stories of mythical fairy rings, that he'd heard as a boy. The mythical signs from the Aspects brought good luck, and ensured safe travels. Makoro was so captivated by these stories, by the time he'd reached the mature age of twelve he had bid farewell to his parents and grandparents, and went out in search of a fairy ring. It wasn't until a few months later had Makoro found a fairy ring, and went inside of it. He was so entranced by the feeling, he became rather addicted to it, spending all time that wasn't dedicated to hunting to being inside of the fairy ring.  However, one day when he was out hunting, a rampaging boar went through the area, and tore the fairy ring up.  With the fairy ring gone, insanity slowly grasps Makoro as the feeling the fairy ring bestowed him continues to be ripped away, as he scours Anthos for another fairy ring to restore the feeling.

  4. Out-Of-Character Information

Please fill out the following questions as accurately as possible, and ensure the essential details are accurate.

    Minecraft Account Name: FriskyElectric
    How old are you?: 16
    Time-Zone: GMT - 6:00 Central Time (US & Canada)

Have you read, understood and agreed to the rules?: Yes3
What previous experience have you had in role-playing?: I've had none, sorry to say.
How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?: The infinite knowledge of Google brought me to the site.
Link any applications that you have previously made for the server: N/A
Have you posted this application on the Minecraft Forum? If not, then please do so (link above): Alright, I think the Minecraft Forums admins are conspiring against me. I've tried to post the application about five times, and it says I have two active posts, but I don't see the application. I'm gonna put the link anyway, 'cause maybe you'll be able to see it. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/832121-the-lord-of-the-craft-enter-the-world-of-anthos-officially-t-h-e-1-roleplay-server/page__st__3580
Have you read the Elven lore, and shall you ensure you make use of it and follow it in your biography?: Yep, + I sure will!

    Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:

    Role-playing:
A character is created much in the same way a person is, with their own personality, traits, intelligence, and appearance. A real person then controls the character, acting in the way that that character would act, ignoring his or her own impulses on what to do in the variety of situations the character enters, acting solely as the character would act.

Meta-gaming: Using knowledge that you as the player know from the forums, or from talking with other players out of the game, then having your character inexplicably learning the knowledge without proper RP, and talking or reacting in accordance to that knowledge. In short, using outside knowledge to unfairly benefit your character.

Power-emoting: Emoting without giving the other character the chance to reply to your emote, an emote that is decisive; without the other characters being able to react is power-emoting. An emote such as

-The Strong Human Smashes The Fat Slow Orc In The Face With A Big Hammer-, would be a power-emote, because the emote doesn't give the orc a chance to duck, or block the strike.

    In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:

       Full Name:
    Dalari

       Current Age: 51
       Sub-race (if any): Wood Elf

(The wiki wasn't a good source for info on the topic of IG time between Asulon and Anthos, so I used the post from Cappy present in this link, http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/83043-lore-question-about-time-between-asulon-islands-and-anthos-arrival/?p=723773 and I used that as my reference point in my character's development between Asulon and Anthos. I apoligize if that is not the correct time in advance.)

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Dalari had a relatively pleasant and quaint childhood, growing up in the quiet woodlands of Asulon, far away from the bustle of the racial cities spread across the lands. She lived in a rather secluded village made up of roughly fifteen wood elves, all of whom were close friends and everyone knew everyone's name. Being that elves are so infertile, she was the only child present in the village throughout the course of her childhood, making her childhood one without any close friends.

Dalari spent most of her time as a child amongst the trees of Asulon, the only place she felt like she could be herself. She was an extremely timid and shy person from birth, and always found it awkward to talk to people. While at her home her parents taught her the fundamentals of the common language, and beneficial trade skills. Fortunately for Dalari, hunting/gathering was only for the men of the village, as she was a strict vegetarian and refused to eat the animals she loved so dearly. So Dalari's mother taught Dalari how to sew, cook, and tend to the garden. Dalari had strong distaste for these menial tasks, as she would much prefer to sit in the woods, and think of splendid sonnets in her head, lacking the knowledge to write them down.

Once Dalari began nearing her second decade, her parents became very anxious. Dalari was still a shy girl, and her refusal to eat meat retained through the years. Dalari's mother was submissive on the matter, wishing for Dalari to simply to happy. But Dalari's father wouldn't back down so easily, and began pressuring Dalari to eat the various meats he hunted for the family, ranging from succulent rabbit to savory venison. But Dalari held her ground, sometimes not eating anything for a whole day, and her father finally succumbed to Dalari's wishes and let her be herself.

Dalari had, to her dismay, planned to stay in the village for the rest of her life; having very little knowledge of land beyond the village. But her golden ticket was presented to her a little while after she reached her fourth decade. Horrendous storms began terrorizing all of Anthos, forcing all the inhabitants of Anthos to leave. She was evacuated from her village by the Malinor sentinels that had been patrolling the paths through the woods for settlements. Dalari and her village were lead to the Cloud Temple's Docks, where they were led onto boats which set sail to the land of Elysium.

Upon arrival to Elysium, the village's residents dissipated into the variety of towns and townships spread across Elysium. Dalari herself said her goodbyes to her parents, promising to keep in touch as she explored across the island. She eventually found herself staying at the Malinor encampment and simply enjoying the island's natural beauty. She kept to herself, she was a bit too shy to go out and introduce herself to new people.

It was on one of her walks about the island that she made her greatest discovery, the Druid's Grove, on the back of their giant turtle! She was so taken aback by this grand discovery, that she went forth to study the grove intently. After asking around Malinor, she learned all about the Druids and what they do. She learned that they protected nature intently, the nature which she loved so dearly. It was then that her uncertainty of what she would do this this ever expanding world ended, she knew she wanted to become a Druid!

Dalari attempted to join the Druids on several attempts, but her shyness bested her, and she was too timid to journey onto the Druid's Grove and ask to join. Soon the storms forced the immediate evacuation of Elysium, and the same boats that took her to Elysium, pushed away from its once safe shores towards the bounty of Anthos. Upon arrival at Anthos, she set off to the new location of the town of Malinor.

Once at Malinor her determination didn't falter, and she found the Druid's grove, but her shyness overcame her once more; and she simply stayed at Malinor. Her daily walks through the woods kept her company as she greeted the animals of the forest, feeling a connection with them, as they too were timid. She would bring them food, and keep them company, as she everyday attempted to muster the courage to go to the Druidic Grove and pledge to dedicancy.

Ambitions for the Future: To gain the courage to enter the Druid's Grove and ask to become a dedicant.
Personality: Extremely timid and shy, she finds it very hard to converse with strangers. Beyond that however, she is extremely compassionate and kind, scarcely ever showing a sign of anger.
Skills: She has knowledge on how to tend a garden, and she knows how to handle a needle, though she is out of practice, and her work would be sloppy. She's also a mediocre cook with knowledge extending possibly as far as baking bread.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): 4' 11", Cinnamon Colored Skin, Dark Brown Hair, Teal Eyes, Green Dyed Linen Shirt, Tattered Green Linen Skirt.

#1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?

    Answer:
Dalari approaches the elves, her face plastered with a look of anger. She timidly whispers about two meters behind the older elves, "Hey, you should not do that~... it is rude...!" to no avail. As the older elves didn't hear her or even acknowledge her, they continue to mock the small child. Dalari balls her fists in rage, and steps up to one of the old High Elves, and raises her hand up and jumps up to tap his shoulder to get his attention. The old High Elf turns around, and looks down to Dalari, his brows furrowed in agitation, "What are you doing, tapping my shoulder?!" he exclaims. Dalari eyes widen in fear, uncertain of what to do next, and she freezes in fear. "You are worthless, leave my presence at once, scum!" the High Elf barks, apparently certain of his supposed supremacy over her. Dalari's eyes well up with tears, but she refuses to leave the child. To Dalari's surprise  the High Elf begins laughing, at her! "Friends, you must see this whelp! She is crying at the most simple of insults!" the High Elf states, his head turned to face his friends. The older elves all turn to see Dalari at this point, and begin laughing and mocking her. This causes Dalari to begin weeping, their laughter and mocking truely hurting her feelings. The elven child sees his opportunity and dashes away from the rude group of older elves. Dalari is extremely saddened by the elves' rude insults, but she is glad to have helped the child from these rude elves.

#2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

    Answer:
"Oh you poor dear! Let's get you up~." Dalari reaches down to the old man, and loops her right arm around his torso, lifting him up to his feet. Supporting him with her right arm, she bent her knees and reached down to grab his walking stick with her left hand. Dalari then brings the walking stick up to the old man's hand, handing it to him with a reassuring smile. Once Dalari is sure the old man can support himself, she then gets down onto her knees and begins to pick up the coins one-by-one. Once all the coins are accounted for, she gets up onto her feet, and hands them to the old man. "Oi, t'ank yah kindleh fer yer 'elping me en whatnot!" the old man exuberantly exclaims. Dalari's lips turn up into another warm smile, "It is no trouble at all, you should just be more careful." she says in a joking tone. Dalari then turns and shyly strolls away, too timid to even give a proper goodbye.

#3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

Answer: Dalari is walking down the path in the woods, smiling pleasantly at all the scenery as she walks by. She stops as she hears the trader calling out to her, "Ah, yah lassie! Come over tah meh carriage, I got mahself maneh-a-ware fer sellin'!" Dalari approaches the carriage, overcome with curiosity. Her eyes dart between all the merchandise stowed away inside the carriage, seeing nothing of interest. "Yah see any'tin yah like, li'dle miss missie?" the trader inquires. Dalari looks to the trader with a cheerful expression on her face, "Sorry, but I do not see anything that I wou-" but Dalari stops mid-sentence, her eyes falling on a lovely circlet made of flowers. The trader follows Dalari's view, seeing the circlet she has her eyes on, "Nae, I jus' made dat while waitin' fer a shoppah er two. Yah need some'n like a fanceh dress, er a charmin' cap!" the trader exclaims. "No, no, I am sorry, but I need nothing like that. That circlet is lovely, may I purchase it?" Dalari timidly inquires. "Bah, wha'ever. Jus' take da dang thing." the trader barks, his voice echoing with apathy. The trader then grabs the circlet of flowers, and holds it out for Dalari to take. Dalari takes the circlet with a wide smile, quietly saying, "Thank you, kind sir! This is very generous of you!". The trader shoots Dalari a fake grin, clearly upset to not have a paying customer, "Aye, wha'ever. Now be on yer way!", the trader then waves his hand dismissively for Dalari to leave. So Dalari puts on her flower circlet, and does a curtsy to the trader, bowing her head and strolling along back down the path.

  5. After three hours of writing, I finished my application to LoTC. Unfortunately, I tried to preview it when the forums were down, and it was deleted (I tried the back-arrow, the box was blank)I noticed at the bottom left corner of the post, that the post auto saves every so often, is there a way I could recover my application?
