Definitions:

What is roleplaying?:  Roleplay is about constructing a imaginative character and portraying it in a make believe setting. Once creating this character, it's essential to further the character by developing the way he/she acts to their environment and around other people or things. With this, you are progressing with progress with your character and also interacting with other people's characters also, making the situation fun for everyone involved. The most enjoyable thing with regards to Roleplay is that you have the ability to expand your imagination and separate yourself from real life, and be in a world where certain fantasies and obscure events are achievable, unlike the real world.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when someone communicates or uses information which goes beyond the game mechanics or the knowledge of his/her character. Metaming is when someone acts on out of character knowledge or acts on out of character reasons in game. Everything should always be kept in character and be based on in character emotions, events etc. An example of metagaming is when someone emotes something along the lines of :*An elf whispers to a human* :"Hey, that orc over there looks really ugly." and the orc, who is standing on the other side of the room, uses this information as IC information and not as OOC information and acts on it. He would not be able to hear them from the other side of the room whilst they are whispering and therefore he metagamed.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming/Power-emoting is forcing an action/condition onto someone's character by the use of *emotes* without having their permission to do so. Powergaming can also be done by giving your character abilities that do not make sense in reference to their race and role or make him/her unbeatable . To prevent yourself from powergaming you must limit the abilities of your character to keep it reasonable and realistic for the world he/she lives in and you must always make sure that you give the other players the room to respond to your actions and to defend him/herself and not force something upon him/her.

Character’s name: Mithion Thandaer

Character’s age: 428 years old

Biography: Mithion was born on the isles of Vailor in the city of Laureh'lin in the year 1515, his parents had left the realm of Athera and found their new home in Laureh'lin. Mithion had a hard time growing up, he was always busy and did not like living between the lines of law. From his childhood he always wanted to become a adventurer. He had read multiple books of great elven adventurers and he really wished to become like those great elven adventurers. When Mithion came of age he started working on a little farm just outside of Laureh'lin, he used to help the farmer by feeding and milking the cows. He kept doing this for quite a few years until he met the love of his life. She was so beautiful that he was to afraid and to shy to go and talk to her. That was until his 46th birthday, where she showed up. He walked towards her and started speaking to her. The two fell in love and 3 years later they married and started living together. Mithion still had the dream to explore the world but he decided to stay in Laureh'lin to take care of his wife.

In the year 1571 when the descendant races left Vailor to find new fortune on the Isles of Aixos, decided Mithion to go with them. Mithion and his wife were forced to take different ships towards the isles and they got separated. When Mithion arrived on the island of Tahn he settled in the dominion of Malin like most of his family and friends but his wife never arrived... After a years of waiting he decided to take matters into his own hands and travel towards the Holy Orenian Empire to look for his wife. He had a hard time finding her in the Holy Orenian Empire's lands, it was a bit of a mess ther because of The Holy Orenian Empire's armies that just came back from the conquest in the Dreadlands. He stayed in the Holy Orenian Empire until emperor John III was assassinated, he was scared of it having an impact on his life in the empire, so he decided to go home back to the Dominion of Malin with the knowledge that me might never see his wife again.

Personality Traits: Mithion is a loyal elf who gets scared quite fast and therefore might act a little reckless from time to time.

Ambitions: A great adventurer just like the one he knows from the books. (what does your character aspire to be?)

Strengths/Talents: Mithion has a great agility and a good stamina. He's quite good at handling horses and tracking animals in the wild.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Mithion is not so strong therefore he's not good at welding large weapons or able wear heavy armor. He's also afraid of ghosts as they alway's haunted them in his dreams.

Appearance: Mithion has brown hear and green eyes. He's quite small compared to other elf's.

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family

 Athan was born in Kingston with his mother, his father
died of  illness . So all what Athan knew
about his father is what his mother tolds and what he red in the books he wrote
by his self. Athan wants to be a great warrior like his father once was. But
what he didn’t know is that his father wasn’t a great warrior but a simple
writer who was writing stories about a warrior. When he was 19 he left Kingston
and he travelled to Luminaire. To live by the elves, because he wants to
learn how to use a bow.

What are they like (personality)?: he is selfish and likes to have a walk,
he enjoys life and is very positive. He is smart and he is good with problem
situations.

What are their ambitions?: to be as great as his father was.

Do they have any special skills?: He is a great swordsman and he is good with
plants an nature.

What are their weaknesses?: he can’t ride a horse and he is afraid of
darkness and slimes
