What do you think the server will be like? -  I'm not too sure since it's my first RP server however I think it'll be a blast with tons of interested storylines and action.

What is roleplaying?: -  Roleplaying I believe is portraying a character  and creating your own adventure rather than having the game do it for you.

What’s metagaming?: -  Metagaming is when you are roleplaying your character and you then take some information you heard over skype or TS3 for example and use it to benefit you or just simply mention it whilst IC.

What’s powergaming?: -  Powergaming is acting like your character is unstoppable and making everything go your way, it creates fun for no-one else but yourself. An example is if I were to talk up to someone and emote *forces his knife into the mans thoat, killing him*

What race are they (and sub-race)?: -  Human

What sex are they?: -  Male

How old are they?: -  25

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Merek grew up in an impoverished orphanage; standard fare for many a child left abandoned due to the constant wars of Anthos. Merek’s father was an honorable strelesy warrior who perished in one of the Adunian conquests, while his mother had died from bloodloss after a bull incident. The orphanage was owned by a well-standing burgher with a heart of gold but the individual caretakers were often cruel widows. One in particular, Mrs. Fiddlesticks, was incredibly cruel especially towards young Merek. She had a distaste towards Raevirs and the young Merek was often subject to much humiliation and punishment by her hands.

By the time Merek was 16, he grew to be bitter and cynical based on the life around him. Sent to the world outside, he did menial jobs as a lumberjack in a Lord’s forest, but always found the job ill-paying and boring. He decided one day to attempt poaching in the forest to enjoy some real game and meats; but this backfired horribly as some of the lord’s foresters caught him. Sentenced to imprisonment, Merek found five of his years vanish in the blink of his eyes.

Released from prison, Merek finds himself free to explore Anthos with a bit of coin made in his tenure in jail.

What are they like (personality)?: - Merek is stern and cold from long years of hard experiences. While embittered, he still has great faith in God especially since in dungeon all he could read were holy scrolls.

What are their ambitions?: - Merek hopes to make a better living for himself, and perhaps rear a family and take care of a son because of the fact that he never had a father himself. He also is in pursuit of great wealth.

Do they have any special skills?: - Merek is somewhat versed in combat and has basic foresting skills. Aside from that, he’s unskilled.

What are their weaknesses?: - Merek enjoys luxuries very much due to his life in poverty. He can be easily bribed or suspectible to tricks involving wealth. In short, he’s greedy.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Merek has messy hair, and a face often caked in dirt. Slender and of middling-height, his teeth are crooked yet fairly white given his background. A plain face, if not earnest, shows long years of work and toil.
