I began to feel along the bumpy stone ground for my pick while holding my torch over my head. Finally, I felt the cool Iron of my pick's head and with great haste picked it up. As I regain to my feet I hear the horrific cry  of a man in agony, "Its fake...." I tell myself, "Its not real.... None of this is!". It has been hours since I have eaten and it has been days since I have seen the warm sun. By ignoring the cry and the grumbling of my stomach I trudged onward with beads of sweat upon my forehead.

It all started as I entered the mines this morning, all the miners where excited to get back to mining for their precious rubies and gems that were stored away in the stone rock of the mines. I on the other hand planned to take it steady and rest my Pick until the Miners start finding some gems. Two hours passed give or take and not a single miner found a piece or fragment of a jewel, giving up on my original plan I arose from my seat and joined my fellow miners. That is when I saw the tunnel out of the corner of my eye, wooden boards blockaded the entrance and a single batted up sign merely dangled over the entrance way.

"The Tunnel of Fate...." I read to myself. Curiosity took the best of me and I withdrew from my fellow miners too inspect more closely the tunnel, the tunnel was pitch black due to the total lack of burning torches or oil lamps. I have heard rumors of a tunnel that was teeming with riches that can make any poor miner into a king of a entire nation, But I never was expecting it to be so easily placed in plain sight. The boards were covered in slimy moss and fungus, but it seemed that it was entirely in a bad state and can easily broken by my tool. I looked away from the entrance way to see if anyone noticed me, and to my surprise every Miner was staring directly at me with frowns of disgust.

"Their just jealous of the fact that I'll be a rich King while they rot here..." I told myself as a grin right back at them before breaking the boards with a quick swing of my pick. A loud crack sound echos throughout the mines as the boards snap in two. I then entered the tunnel while giving one last look back at my poor and helpless fellow miners... The look that they gave me was the only thing keeping me sane in this forsaken place, and the feel of my pick is the only thing that keeps me strong... While the bodies of the previous miners are my only companion... and source of food...

How did you hear about us?: - My friend told me about this server. But I really didn't had the time back then to sign a Application and all that, but now I have time to create one.
What do you think the server will be like? - Well I believe that it will be a fun role playing adventure. I have visited your server as a guest viewing the excellent buildings and details. Also members in this server say it has alot of promise.
Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes I have.
What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - I like the rule about you may not act OOC around other characters that are still in character. This makes the role play experience more unqiue.

What is roleplaying?: - By which a person changes their behavior and becomes another character by which the player play outs as.

What’s metagaming?: - A player that is OOC that is aware of something that the IC is not aware of. For example: There are stone trolls at the top of the moutain, the OOC knows that but IC doesn't know.

What’s powergaming?: - Enforcing a action without allowing a person to react. For example: John threw a smoke bomb at Jeff. You should atleast give Jeff time to react and say: John begins to throw a smoke bomb.

What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Dwarf ( Cavern-Dwarf)

What sex are they?: - Male

How old are they?: - 56

Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Garik's Family grew up in a Fortress Underground that was concealed from the outside world. Garik's father is a guard for the Fortress but also a part-time miner hence the family name. As a child Garick was trained by his father how to kill orcs swiftly and lethaly, yet Garick didn't learned much from his father's session of teachings. Alas Garik's father sadly rejected him for not following his foot steps. Garik instead of being a miner or a noble guard wanted to become a lore master and learn about the animals and plants that roam about the over world. No one supported Garik for this cause but his mother, Garik's mother supported Garik and encouraged him to explore the world and learn more about the creatures above. So Garik took his mother's advice and began to pack up his equpiment, but before departing his home Garik thanked his mother but couldn't find his father any where throughout the fortress. Until one day Garik realized that his father killed him self in hatred towards him, from that day Garik promised that he would show his father that he was wrong about him by studying every creature in Anthos. Now Garik with book and quill in hand he ventured forth to learn more about the realm of Anthos. 

What are they like (personality)?: - Garick is humble and gentle. He wishes not to hurt creatures but if possible make alliances with them. Garick though is short-tempered and can be angered if a insult is delivered to him.

What are their ambitions?: - Garick's ambitions is to write down every creature and plant down in his book. Garick also wants to prove his father wrong about him and show that he can complete his impossible task.

Do they have any special skills?: - Garick knows only how to wield a short sword from his father. Other then that Garick knows much about herbs (mostly mold) that grow in the dark and cold places of the cavern. Garick also knows how to use these herbs as small potions that can result in some what painful or helpful effects.

What are their weaknesses?: - Garick knows nothing about the herbs and animals that lie around above Anthos, so he cannont use these types of herbs until he has fully study the plant. Also Garick is unable to kill creatures unless he has already study them, Garick can and some times rarerly bring himself into killing a rabid or dangerous animal other wise he avoids combat. Lastly Garick would fall into pieces if even a page were to be torn out from his book. This would cause Garick to panic and some times cause foolish mistakes.

Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Garick has a gray beard and hair from age (he has been locked up in the under ground cavern for a long time). Garick has a noble brown bag slinged across his shoulders, he also has a cap protecting his head from the cold. The clothes Garick wear is of cloth and fabric ( he wears this in hopes of looking peace ful). Sadly Garick has black beady eyes from being born under ground.
