    How did you hear about us?: - The great and glorious Vulcus told me about LoTC, so I thought I'd give it a go.

    Definitions
     
    What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying has to do when you or someone else takes the role and personality of a character, and plays them out in a world that wouldn't exist in real life. In games such as D&D, you are expected to create your own character, with their own story and role to enhance diversity within the party.
     
    What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is taking information you've learned OOC'ly, or otherwise not IC'ly, and attempt to use such information to get the advantage over another player, locate a person(s) you intend to harm/help, or use it against players in any other way.
     
    What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is when you force your IC actions on another player, without giving them a chance to react or respond. It can also involve doing moves that your character realistically couldn't do, or making your actions seem 'beefed' and more devastating than they should be.

    Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography.  -
     
     Born in the town of Cintran, in the Kingdom of  Kaedrin, Dedric Byrid existed only because of his father's abusive behavior and drunken stupors - with a sparse population, and the rarity of women in a logging/mining village, it was to be expected that rape overwhelmed the ol' meet-and-greet. While Dedric wasn't punished for 'being there' while he was in the womb, he definitely received a wake-up call when he was born.
     
    His mother, a baker, was rather fond of the son she was forced to bare, while his father, one of the many miners, was out spending what little wealth they had on ale and, well... ale. By the time he returned home, his mother was the first to be rewarded with his wraith. The man was rough; rough enough that he was capable of knocking teeth from the woman's maw. Then, onto baby Dedric - of course, the man knew better than to kill a defenseless baby, so he pretty much just yelled vulgar things at him, and tormented poor Dedric while he tried to sleep. Ir went on until the boy became of age, and to which, he was slapped around just as much as his mother. 
     
    As the boy grew older, he grew more troubled - at the local schoolhouse, he was definitely the alpha dog - picking on the children, and even throwing fists towards the teachers when they upset him - the buckle did not phase the boy one bit, and each day, he prepared himself for the moment when he could give his father a taste of his own medicine. Of course, that day never came - his father had been killed when he carelessly drove his cart into one of the more fragile support beams. When they recovered his body, he was nothing more than a paste. Relieved, mother and son were finally free - both cared for each other, and Dedric knew that they needed a better life to live, volunteered for to take his father's place in order to earn some money - enough that they could make a move.
     
    It took only two years, and a pile of accidents, and fresh baked goods to have enough surplus of currency to start anew - meanwhile, in his spare time, Dedric had taken up a trade in the art of smithing. Not only that, but Dedric had successfully purchased a plot of land within the capital of Kaedrin,  Ard Kerrack - an old, rundown forge; but, easily fixable with the right set of skilled hands. Knowing they'd be distancing themselves from the dirty elves and orcish scum that plagued the land nearby, mother and son set off on horseback, taking what little they had along for the ride.
     
    Years later, Dedric's mother had since passed away - though, business was as well as you could expect within a warmongering culture. Excellently forged swords and shields, and even armor pieces; there was something for every sellsword and mercenary. And, as Dedric grew wealthy, he became happy - for once in his life
     
     
     
    What are they like? (personality): - A gruff and bitter man in his prime - Dedric is neither polite, nor generous. Selfish and greedy (traits you'd expect from a dwarf, maybe) he works only to better himself, and no one else. He cares not for anyone's problems or complaints, and can be rather hot-headed when an argument arises. 
     
     
    What are their ambitions?: - Run his forge, and make collect as much wealth as he can get his grubby hands on. 
     
    Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? (Try to list a few of both): - 
     
     
    Skills: 
     
    Experienced smith and metal worker.
    Well-built and muscular - Dedric would make for a great pit fighter.
    Exceptional strength and endurance. The man definitely takes care of himself.
     
     
    Weaknesses:
     
     
    Easily angered.
    Lack of interest in other people's affairs means he's unaware of happenings within the realm, and lacks friends in general.
    ​Lacks brains, but makes up for it with brawn. 
     
     
    Give us a description of how they look?: - A hulk of a man, Dedric stands at around 6'4" and is extremely toned and muscular; definitely, he can be an intimidating figure when challenged with a lesser sized opponent. While lacking a head of hair, he does have fairly bushy eyebrows, accompanied by an even bushier mustache which seems exceptionally kept. His eyes are a dark brown, and his skin (if you look past the sweat and grime) is a fair tan.
