Purses his lips whilst sealing an envelope bound with golden wax and places it into his desk drawer.  The letter is addressed  to the Duke of Courland. He calls for his steward, momentarily halting the  renovation of Dunwych Hold.

              "I certainly hope this won't mean too much more work." he sighs tiredly, glancing upon the fields of Ambrosa , "Admittedly, we can only be strengthened from here-on-out." he pauses momentarily, furrowing his brows with a slight chuckle. "Si, we'll have to defend ourselves and Oren now."

A moment of some silence steadily overcomes the man.

             "Ab aeterno."  he mumbles.

"Health and Joy to these young souls, may happiness follow them throughout their lives!" he says laughing merrily "It was about time he found someone" he looks to Raphael in agreement

   I am experienced with graphics design and digital art. 'Photoshop CS6', 'Manga Studio' and 'Paint Tool SAI' are my primary three creative studios. Despite this, I know my way around after-effect and have used tools such as 'Sony Vegas' many-a-time.

 I own a Cintiq 13HD, thereby, I can also do drawings and sketches for the required project. I'm quite excited about this, moreover it looks very promising in itself. I truly hope that you will take my enthusiasm for this into consideration and allow me to help you out with this series. I'm beginning to make the Cinematic introduction for this. It'll be made in After Effects CS6 It will follow the 'Lord of The Rings." introduction style. Any ideas for the name? I was thinking 'Tides Of Illicia'.

I agree however it seem illogical to simply dive into the entire world of Athera with all its complexity without giving adequate back-story about the character and the world in general. I might make something similar to the lore trailer only, using my character. Primarily e

Hello LoTC forum!

  As of recently joining the server I have been very much immersed in the world that you as a community have created. Furthermore, I have taken into consideration how well the lore and characters on the server are so well built-up and brought to life in a pure original and dynamic way.

 As a member of this community I hope to further strengthen our server and establish it as a community of creative and dynamically thinking people.

For this particular reason, I have decided it would be enjoyable for both you and myself to begin a 'LoTC Roleplaying Let's-play' which will follow my character through his journey and epic adventure in these mystical lands. All videos will be filmed with a commentary, I will use a Shure PG-42 for this.

The more complex questions I have to adress and regard are ones such as:

  1.When roleplaying do you think I should voice what other people are saying? (I do voice acting for 'Skywind' so this may not be much of a problem to do. However this becomes tricky with the OOC chat as well. Which I worry might also spoil the video.)

  2.What kind of adventure would YOU like to see from this Let's-Play? (As much as this is a project for my own amusement this is to increase immersion for all hosts of people on the server so I beg this question. Shall I defeat evils? Or charm evil rulers? Or perhaps slay them? Or throw in some romance into the story?) 

 NOTE: (I will try to do all of these things on my own accord but I want to know what you as players want to see...)

  3.In the event I do not do a let's play video rather an announcement I cannot make to all people in game. Would you like to see me in costume and in character? (This seems like a silly one, however I am keen to keep up the proper roleplay. Therefore, for example, when my character needs to organize the Illatian people to build something I may just make the announcement on Youtube.

What makes your beard or moustache special to /you/:

I had my beard ever since my mid-twenties; it has been there for me through the entirety of my life! It feels like a good friend or brother that is always by my side, or on my face-that is. I adore my moustache for its unmatched voluminous furriness and fuzziness. It kept my cozy during my time at the fringe and made my father’s Raevir friends stumble to the ground in sheer awe. For this my moustache has not only  earned me massive respect throughout the land but It has given me a certain ‘spring in my step’.

Then I would walk into thy ‘Ye-old taverns’ all the wenches go mad for my illustrious bush of awe-inspiring manliness. I found that they cannot begin to resist the wild and passionate call of my moustache and so I have earned quite the title of a ‘Woman’s-man’ in my time.

Furthetmore my moustache has earned me great and wholesome victories throughout my lifetime! I recall when its holy and mystical shimmering-shine scared-off a swampy, slimy group of bloodthirsty Orcs! Hah! It was a good one!

It is difficult to explain but when the wind blows through and onto my moustache I get ever so sensitive, as if the sheer excitement and ecstasy of this experience overwhelms my senses with manly-moustache-plosions of testosterone.

How did you hear about us?: -I was infomed about this server by a friend. He explained that it was perfect for me because I could indulge myself into the roleplay experience.

What do you think the server will be like? - I believe the server will host a great variety of players, from all parts of the world with different ethnicites. Moreover, I trust there will be a collection of mature and involved players who are serious and passionate about ‘Roleplaying’. I think it will be a higly amusing and interesting server experience.

What is roleplaying?: -  Roleplaying is the art of adopting a role and performing with its set capacities within the boundaries set of the medium you play on.

What’s metagaming?: -  Metagaming is using information your character would not know in any circumstance. For example the information given through Skype, Teamspeak or other mediums. You may only handle through knowledge obtained in Roleplay.

What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is taking action in an unrealistic manner, or where the opponent has no ability to respond in a realistic manner accordingly.

Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography. It is also required to include server lore when writing. (Names of towns, major server events, ect. Most lore can be found on our wiki.): -

Zoprak Di Valoros was the fruit of an unhappy marriage, born during the exodus to the Fringe. He spend his youth in Vekaro,  where he helped the farmers in his first years.  As a war between Oren & Uruguan erected, he fought as a young boy alongside his father in the many battles. Later he refuged with his mother in the house, leaving his father to turn mad by the trauma and death in those battles.

Eventually the mother of Zoprak, Lucrenzia Di Valoroso, broke the bonding with her husband as she took Zoprak with her to the wilds, where she would make a new residence for a peaceful life with her son. Next to the road towards Alras, they met many strangers and finally settled happily. Though, Zoprak had no interests for converse. He used the tomes obtained by his mother to train in the ways of Arcane, spending many days studying the world and its magical embrace. He learned many things about the realm and life, in theory. This was a peaceful period in his life, but also a defining.

After the exodus towards Thales, Zoprak was forced to leave many of his possesions behind. Only carrying his diary and remnants of his tomes.  His mother led him to the Illatian caravans searching for Oren to settle, during one of the travels his mother died of starvation.  Leaving Zoprak depressed and tired of life. Thanks to the Illatians surrounding him, he was adopted into their ways again and learned to see the brighter side of life and its principles. As he aged slowly towards the 60s, he would stay with them until the promising civilization was founded.

What are they like? (personality): - Zoprak has seen and witnessed many things, making him experienced and wise in how the world works. Though, he tends to see things negatively or as he calls it: “Realistic.” He is very forgiving and open to new things, though prefers to stay with his roots. He regards that a man ; cannot be a man without his sense of self-understanding. And for this he is not very lineant and appreciative of all newcomers and upholds those with a strong self-confidence. He himself is somewhat suprisingly extroverted.

What are their ambitions?: - Become a great Archmage and Politician to the Illatian peoples.

Give us a description of how they look?:

- A proud middle-aged man, humble in nature yet remarkably wise and intellecual. One  can clearly see that in the depths of his hazel-brown eyes, those that have so vigorously stared upon all the lands, he knows that which many do not. He often wears formal, but lightweight attire for his affairs and studies sporting a fashionable, violet hooded robe. Light-armoured pauldrons that were finley crafted to match the pinch of his shoulders. Across his chest, two leather jacks support his trousers. He uses them to hang small pouches and sacks in which he stores some of this writing materials and bevarages.  For his age he has a healthy posture, his face expressing a malencholy coming of age. But it is all too well covered up by a great beard which he so precisley grooms with a pair of golden scissors that were given to him by a former colleuge as a gesture of great friendship.

Zoprak has powerful arms; with promient veins spanning the length of them. He himself regards this as a sign that he must work, build and change the world with them. Thus he in no manner seems fagile for a man of his stature.
