Out-Of-Character InformationWhat’s your Minecraft Account Name?: OthimepHow old are you?: 19Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): YesHave you applied to this server before? (Please link all past applications): NoHave you read and agreed to the rules?: YesWhat’s the rule you agree with the most?: Probably the idea that landscarring is a bannable offense. The environment is crucial to immersion. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): No, not really. How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Through a friend, although I don't know his forum-name.DefinitionsWhat is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is similar to acting in a play or film. You play as the 'character' you are controlling in-game, and convey your characters emotions and actions in response to the world around you. What is metagaming?: Meta-gaming is using information acquired out-of-character (OOC) for in-character (IC) advantage, for example, knowing somebodies identity, although they may be disguised, by reading the name above their heads. What is powergaming?: Powergaming is disregarding the actions of other roleplaying parties, placing your own actions in priority over others. For example, a player would write "Umlaut takes the dagger from his belt, and stabs Hrorik in the chest multiple times, before setting it on fire and urinating to extinguish it, beginning to walk away to the sounds of Hrorik's screams." Umlaut's player completely disregarded Hroriks players response. You are meant to take turns in roleplaying actions, offering 'attempts' and every now and then, allowing yourself to be dealt a cruel hand.In-Character InformationCharacter’s name: Sadern WheatweaveCharacter’s gender: MaleCharacter’s race: HumanCharacter’s age: 20Biography:Sadern was born to a family of Highlanders in Athera, 1470, along with a twin sister, named Sadie. The family had owned and built a medium-sized farm in the Wilds two years before Sadern's birth, just after their father and mother had fled Anthos due to the Deep Freeze. Sadie had died soon after birth, with no more than three Passings, and Sadern lived on without the knowledge he ever had a sister.Sadern progressed a mostly quiet life with his mother and father, with long, hard days on the farm teaching him the value of hard work and the rewards associated. Food was almost always on the table, save for a few bad harvests, and although his father and mother were prone to arguing, life was generally positive for the family. When Sadern had reached the age of 16, his father, a guard during his time in the Fringe, had begun to teach close-quarters self-defence to Sadern, forcing an oath to only use it when it is absolutely needed - in a matter of life or death. For four more years Sadern toiled on the farm and sparred with his father and mentor. With the approval of his mother, Sadern had set off - by the advice of his father - to find work as a courier in order to not only explore the world around him, but to earn Mina to build a foundation and begin a life.Ambitions: To establish himself as a courier and acquire an education.Strengths/Talents: Heavy-handed, perceptive, honest, farming experience.Weaknesses/Inabilities: Uneducated, weak depth perception, easily persuaded.Appearance: Height: 5'9, Weight: 220lbs, Hair: Brown, Eyes: Green2
