What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Enaction of Yeu

Summarise the Lore of this magic(s):

At its core, the Enaction of Yeu Rthulu is a very simplistic magic with two main points for the utilization of the magic; At first, we have the very basic yet slightly fatigue-inducing meditations performed by a user in order to establish a connection with Yeu Rthulu, in which the user sends a extremely small portion of their soul essence to Yeu. In exchange, the user will achieve a much more useful feat that allows the user’s soul essence to grow each time the connection is established, strengthening the user’s soul to resist against any form of corruption that may originate from any specified Dark Magic; Usually gaining an immunity to specific magics such as Shade infections, Frost Witch conversion and the reanimation to be turned into any sort of undead creature. In addition, once the user’s connection has been established, their soul begins to grow, and from this point on with a few weeks into their meditations, the user begins to learn much more promising feats.

Continuing on with the second main point of the magic, the Enaction of Yeu Rthulu allows its users to utilitize their soul-essence in a way that is both beneficial and harmless. Once a user’s connection is strengthened to a point, they will be able to conjure small wisps of light; Specifically known as ‘Wispal Servants’. These tiny wisps are semi-sentient who have the ability to perform everyday tasks, disappating once their tasks have been completed. Another addition to the magic is the user’s ability to create unburning flames. These unburning flames work similarly to actual flames, but cannot actually be used to harm any living being, regardless of their stance in sentience (Flora, fauna, magical creatures, etc. cannot be harmed).

Write up a lesson that your character would give to a student:

“It was a good attempt!” Zaaryth spoke in a much more approving tone than usual, giving off a few claps as he watched his student attempt to summon a wispal servant, only to have it flicker away and dissipate into tiny light particles. “Now that you’ve gotten the basic idea down, I’ll be able to give you a little run-down of what exactly you’ve just done.” He spoke in a matter-of-fact tone, lifting a finger as he paced along the front view of his student.

“As I’ve told you once before, when you create your connection to Yeu, not you, but Yeu Rthulu, you’ll be able to get a sense of her presence and touch as you focus of giving some of your soul-essence to her. Of course, in the beginning it’ll be a little straining, and you won’t be able to do much with what little soul-essence you actually have, however! That is not by any means any reason for you to give up so soon.” He then raises his right arm, extending it and pulling up his sleeve to reveal his finely-toned biceps.

“Think of it as if it were a workout. The more work you put into it everyday, with time to catch a few breaks here and there, the more you are able to lift or push.” He then begins lifting his arm to and fro, similar to a person lifting a weighted rock. “In regards to your connection, it is still rather weak and requires a bit more work before you can actually begin to summon a wisp. But once you do…” His lips began to curl into a gentle smile, extending his arm out once more with an open palm, having his lotus cheek symbols and eyes glow a radiant white hue as they fade within a few seconds’ notice in exchange for the summoning of a small orb of light coming forth and moving about. Two black eyes and a curved mouth poked out from the front side of the wisp as it forms an interesting shape similar to that of tiny dog.

“...Even you can be just as strong.” The wispal companion then leaped down from Zaaryth’s palm, climbing onto the student’s head, quietly snuggling within the strands of hair, enjoying itself with a few tiny squeals.

    Herblore & Blight Healing

Summarise the Lore of this magic(s):

    Herblore -

    Spoiler

Herblore (Previously known as Nature's Healing) is a gift of the Aspects that allow fully attuned Druids have access to the healing properties of herbs, as well as the ability to create wooden limbs in replacement of previously dismembered ones. While being its most useful at its most basic form by creating salves with only one major ingredient being the herb, the enhancements can either be positive or negative depending on said Druid's knowledge on the subject (Tier).

Erected wooden limbs act as a normal piece of wood to any regular person. However, to fully attuned Druids, they may control said wooden limb through the use of having their gift to control nature in order yo have it function as any regular limb. Herbs also have their own sets of drawbacks as well.

Enhancing herbs with a basic level of knowledge will often give the salve more negative effects rather than positive due to only just having learned the technique. As time goes by, the Druid will learn how to cancel out the negative effects, making the more positive traits present, as well as being able to mix herbs together to create an even more efficient salve.

    Blight Healing -

    Spoiler

Blight Healing is another gift of the Aspects that allow their fellow Druids to use in order to conduct what is typically known as a cleansing of taint to bring life to what was once a spot or patch of lushful earth. Although, this ability works on more than just taint, extending its reach over to any land that may be damaged, or even plagued. This ability has been known as the pinnacle of Druidism, as it allows Druid’s to seep the natural energies of the land back into the land, restoring it to its former standing.

With greatness also comes a drawback. Blight Healing cannot heal any blight that has been inflicted upon any Descendants or even fauna. The ability will only ever be effective to the natural land.

Write up a lesson that your character would give to a student:

    Herblore -

    Spoiler

Wendy set her digits onto her staff, guiding her Druid pupil into a decent spot within the Wood Elven city. She hummed lightly, seating herself on a bench before patting the space for her pupil to sit just besides her. “Tell me, what do you know of herbs?”

The pupil shifted in his robes before seating himself and blinking. “I know quite a bit on the subject, though I’m still not sure how to use them in a more effective way quite yet.

“But you know of most of them, yes? Their strengths, weaknesses..?”

    “Yes.” He nodded.

She nodded before setting her staff just along her side before standing once more. She then gestured for him to follow, leading him into her home where she had prepared with a Tippen’s Root within a corked glass bottle, a mortar, a pestle, and a cloth.

“Explain to me the effects Tippen’s Root can have when applied at a normal cut the size of a fingertip.”

The pupil tapped his chin before responding. “It’ll stop the bleeding.”

She nodded with approval before speaking again. “And what if you take to long to prepare the herb, what will happen then?”

He trailed down before gazing back to her. “It’ll make you throw-up?”

She nodded once more. “Correct. So now I want you to use these tools to create a salve. Moreso a paste of Tippen’s.”

He nodded before motioning over to the counter, beginning with taking out the herb, making sure to hold his breath before grabbing the knife and mincing it. Soon after, he dropped the stem back into the bottle, corking it once more. As he set the root pieces within the mortar, he took the pestle and began crushing the bits.

Wendy then spoke up before hovering a palm to the cauldron of water. “Make sure to add water! But not too much or you’ll ruin the entire thing!”

Chuckling, the pupil nodding before taking the separate wooden bowl, dipping it within before removing it and dripping a few drops into the mix. The bits began to take a more sticky form with the more water being added. Time began to pass and the process had become sweat-inducing. He flicked a few beads of sweat before revealing the paste of Tippen’s to Wendy.

“Excellent work.” She nodded in response. “Now, I want you to focus your energies onto the paste. Remember to sense the effect and do your best to cancel out the negatives.”

He nodded, setting the paste into the now dried wooden bowl. Taking in a deep brief, a good minute came as the pupil’s irises glowed a vibrant red. Looking to the paste, he did his best at adding the more positive effects. However, his efforts were short-lived as this had been his first time attempting the feat.

His eyes then trailed upwards, almost in a dazed like state, emitting a faint laugh.

Wendy abruptly then snapped a finger twice just a few inches besides his ear.

Waking back up to realization, the pupil shook his head before looking back to Wendy.

She nodded in response. “Excellent work. Now throw that out and we’ll begin the next patch!” She then chuckled.

He chuckled along with her, rolling his eyes.

Her laughing then came to a sudden stop. “Why’re you laughing? I’m serious.” She blinked, looking back to him.

    Blight Healing -

    Spoiler

Wendy strolled alongside with her fellow pupil, glancing about and tuning in to the nature about them in the surround area. The flora amongst them was truly a sight to behold. Although, within the distance, the sight of deadness within the earth could be seen. Flowers had been drained of life, the grass tainted a sickly brown and a small sapling had seemingly been wilted. The silence around the spot made even the pupil shudder for a moment.

Wendy furrowed her eyebrows to the sight before making her way over, setting her staff just beside her and placing her palm to her chin in thought.

“I wonder what happened here.” He exchanged a similar expression, though having his staff standing tall just besides his footing.

“Seems to be a bit of taint.. Maybe a Necromancy I suppose.” She sighed, shaking her head as she closed her eyes.

“Hm? Why would a Necromancer go after plants?” He said with a curious tone in his voice.

“Perhaps to gain some type of sick energy. I’m not too sure.” She then planted her staff besides her, inhaling a deep breath. “What I’m about to show you is the gift of Healing that which is blight. If you wish to assist, start by focusing your energy on me, and keep your eyes open.”

He nodded before shutting his own eyes, setting his palm to hover in her direction. Moment passed before he reopened his eyes, his irises glowing a vibrant red.

Wendy’s eyes opened soon after. Her eyes glowed a much more vibrant blue as she then extended both her palms out towards the patch of taint. Their energies then seeped out of Wendy’s palms in a light purple-like mist. It hovered just around the land, awaiting until Wendy brought her palms to the ground, having the mist directly enter into the patch.

Moments later, the land turned into a light green, beginning with the grass and then to the flowers. They swayed around a bit before returning back to their original color. A small patch of grass however, had not been fully revitalized.

The pupil emitted a light: “Woah..” from his mouth before looking back to Wendy. He felt only a bit of a daze fall over him, listening to the voices of the thankful flora.

Wendy then closed her eyes before reopening them. They rotated just a bit, having her sway a few steps backward. She then shook her head and chuckled lightly.

“Sister? Is everything alright?” He seemed a bit worried to this.

Wendy then faffed a hand, moving to grasp her staff. “I’m fine, none to worry. Now it’s your turn, Take the energies and seep it back into the little patch over there.”

He blinked before looking over to the small patch, moving over to it and taking a deep inhale. Moving closer, he returned his eyes to glow a vibrant red hue, moving to hover his palms just at top of the grass. Taking a few minutes, a bit of red mist began to form, surprising even the pupil.

Taking this opportunity, the pupil began to focus his time into guiding the mists back into the earth, where it then assisted the grass to return to its former, green hue. Moments later, the glow within his eyes faded before making him sway and falling back into the lushful grass.

Wendy stepped along over, exchanging a light smile and nodding her head with approval. “Excellent work.”

How did you learn this magic(s)?:

Zaaryth has shown a great sense of dedication of getting into and learning about the strictures (via Quanivir in-roleplay), and following through with them within his time that is dedicated to learning more of Yeu Rthulu. (Lore Trial)

@Auric_Saint (<--- Permission from this one)

Offer an explanation of the magic(s) you are learning:

The Enaction of Yeu Rthulu is a magical feat whose abilities remain solely on two phases being utilized in a manner in which the learning caster must complete the act of prayer and enter a deep meditation-like trance in order to connect with Yeu Rthulu. In return, Rthulu will allow them the abilities of having a much more durable soul (strengthening over time), Wisps that will do any specified task (should it be of a pacifist or non-violent nature), and white colored flames that are capable of many types of utilization, but refrain from harming anything living.

Provide evidence you've a proper means of learning this magic(s):

Zaaryth has spent around 2 years (2 IRL weeks) learning about Yeu Rthulu through a current follower, Quavinir; and has spent his time within the Library of Dragur to learn and study the ways of the strictures.

  8. As the rain poured over the group of druids, each took a seat before emitting a glow of their respective auras. Slowly each Brother and Sister brought their power together, seeping into the dead earth.

With the cursing of a young elf and the druids' completing their task, each simply took their leave soon after, parting ways. As the once deathly earth, covered with ash and soot was revitalize, the Druids accomplish their quest to heal a portion of the land, leaving only one question to ask from the Melody Druid herself:

    "Who could have done this...?"

  9. As the blazier within Linandria burned strong, flickering with tiny embers spurting out, but never onto the plant-life surrounding it, the Melody druid and her potential dedicant stood before it. Wendy began her explanation of the Dedicant's Vow, as well as a blood sacrifice to seal Saelian's dedicancy.

  10. Spoiler

"All that is Beautiful rushes in synchronicity to You; All that is Wondrous, encircles You as Divinity; All that is Marvelous Kneels before You in Awe; All that is Splendid Reveals Your Grace and Glory. Magnify my Love, That I should Ever Seek You; Touch my Heart with Blessing I may Share; Spill over from my Heart with Words Unending, That All my Love should Ever Praise You.":

Wendy made her way outside of the city walls and into the forest of Linandria through sunset. She took a seat, crossing her legs over with each other as she sat. The river quickly flowed along as she sat besides it. She took a inhale of air before setting her staff on top of her knees, closing her eyes slowly as she did so.

“And so it was two. Two wars. Same enemy. Different time.” She began to imagine the thought of herself in the battlefield that she had recently fought in, standing with her grasp on the hilt of her blade, slashing through the skin of an Uruk and blood spurting onto her face. She shuddered as the vision came through her mind, heartbeat increasing, breath becoming more heavier. “Ngh… I can’t let this consume me...I can’t…” She quickly flickered her eyes open as the consternation began to run through, crawling quickly to the river and looking to her reflection. Everything felt so real.

Wendy’s eyes were filled with panic as she began to notice the water ripple as the face on her reflection began to furrow its brows, closing its eyes before slowly rising above the water. Her reflection seemed to have a type of mass, she watched as it rose, looking to her with calm eyes. Though Wendy had shown much more fear in her eyes, she sat up, sitting atop her knees and widening her eyes to the reflection in front of her.

The reflection stood, her eyes blinked, seemingly calmer than Wendy’s terrified and confused state. The reflection had took a step onto the ground before presenting herself infront of Wendy and placing a hand onto her shoulder. Wendy shook a bit before feeling a motion of tranquility. The reflection smiled lightly before speaking to her in a soft-pitched tone.

“With every war, comes a sacrifice. Your sanity isn’t one.” The reflection stood upright, extending her palms out to the sides before emitting two bright glowing palms of blue light. “Wendy. You’re the Melody Druid. You’re a teacher. A significant other. You are Wendy Crimsonveil.” Wendy seemed less distraught as a smile slowly formed onto her face.

The reflection closed her eyes, lifting her own head upwards as she began to dissapate into smaller, light blue particles. Each with a sparkle until glimmering back into Wendy as a whole entity. Wendy stood tall as she herself felt much more at peace with herself and less terrified. She then took in a breath before exhaling a soothing tune from her voice “Melody.” She spoke to the forest about her before she herself had woken from a meditation. “I am strong, they are my strength, my will. And I am, the Melody Druid.” Wendy stood, taking her staff and tapping it onto the ground as she made her way back into the city.

    IC Name: Rukh

Original Race (n/a if not applicable): Ancestral Spirit

    Transformed Form: Muyakelg

Creator (MCname and RP name, n/a if not applicable): Sharagath

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

    Spoiler

A Muyakelg is a lesser spirit of the ancestral plane that has been bound into a physical form through an experienced Lutaman and Witchdoctor.

The Lutaman shaman will travel through the ancestral plane to achieve their targeted spirit, making a difficult compromise, in which the Lutaman must have the spirit tell the Lutaman its true name, so that the shaman achieves worldly control over the spirit.

The Witch Doctor must also play their part by creating a body for the spirit to take form in. In order to create the host body, the Witch Doctor must use a collection of bones in order to create the host body for the spirit to take form in. Soon after, the bones must be placed underneath sand for three days and be soaked with a mixture of cactus juice, sea water and blood. Eventually to be dug up to continue the process of the spirit’s forming.

Over a large bonfire, the bones must be placed over the embers so that the Lutaman can impart a small blessing to each bone whilst dancing and chanting. The Witch Doctor will examine each bone, and also turn them over in the embers of the fire. Soon after this process is down, the Witch Doctor will sew the bones together, along with animal skin and leather to form a skeleton that the Lutaman wishes the spirit to have.

After the makeshift skeleton is created, it will be coated with a mixture of lamp oil and gold dust. The Lutaman will invoke the spirit to bound to the skeleton through chanting and lighting incenses so that the spirit may inhabit the scent and the Lutaman will breath in as much smoke as needed. Whilst using a straw and looking to the skeletal frame, the Lutaman will exhale the smoke towards it and the Witch Doctor will light the oil on fire so the construct is ignited.

As the spirit flows throughout the construct, it will use the spiritual energies to infuse itself with each bone, growing tissue, muscle and flesh across the skeleton, and finally bringing itself onto the floor.

Most of the characteristics from strength and intelligence will come from both the Witch Doctor and Lutaman that bounded it. Depending on the Lutaman, the spirit’s intelligence can range from that of an animal to a fully established conscious.

A Muyakelg will speak in True Blah that only the Shamans can understand. It can be removed from its physical construct and back into the Ancestral realm if the Lutaman whom created it or any other Shaman speaks its True Name of the. The Muyakelg will typically only follow the Lutaman, and the others whom know of its True Name. Usually the Lutaman will give it a second name to refer to.

As a Muyakelg, the spirit will need spiritual energy from its native spirit realm. The Lutaman will be the main source of the Muyakelg’s energy by chanting and dancing to invoke other spirits to impart energy into the Muyakelg. Other shamans have different means of replenishing their Muyakelg, such as a Farseer temporarily sending the Muyakelg back into the spirit realm, etc.

If defeated in combat, the spiritual energies will become unbound, leading the Shaman to retrieve the skull as the major source needed to regenerate the Muyakelg, as well as any other bones or substitutes to replace the missing ones. Muyakelgs that have been bound will have no memories, only that the shaman whom bounded them knows of their name. Pk’ing a Muyakelg will send one back to the Spirit Realm.

What magic(s) do you desire to teach?: Nature's Communion & Control of Nature

Summarize the Lore of these Magics:

    Nature's Communion

This is the core sub-type of a druid's journey, beginning soon after their attunement. As stated, soon after a dedicant has taken up a totem, becoming a druid, they will both feel and hear the hum of nature that surrounds them. To a majority of recently attuned druids, these sounds will remain incomprehensible until the Druid has gone through an extensive period of meditation with a targeted flora or fauna, but even then, the language is still very new to the druid. Each time they do so, they will feel very jaded and eventually take breaks from meditation to muster up more energy for their next encounter of their communion. As a druid continues with regular communion, they will eventually establish a strong connection with nature, as to which they won't have to meditate to hear the thoughts of the life surrounding them.

    Control of Nature

In addition to Nature's Communion, Control of Nature is another core sub-type that is achieved soon after a dedicant's attunement to druid. This is a natural feat of a recently attuned druid, and will often be used to influence many forms of nature, these being flowers, trees and many other flora as well as a few other commodities. Beginning, a druid will often start by meditation. Most will start with flora as a basic starting point, through a fair amount of meditation and focus, a druid will be able to request or even coax the flora to bloom or even grow at a slightly faster pace, but not a large change to the flora. Through many meditation practices and interactions with its use, most flora will take requests given to them by the druid and respond to, but never against the balance.

Write up a lesson that your character would give to a student. (Do note, we will be contacting aspiring teachers for a quick interview, to try to better gauge your knowledge and understanding):

    Lesson for Nature's Communion

Wendy led her student Andria to a location within the forest, pausing at a lake, with a large tree besides it. Its roots could be seen within the water as fish swam about it and frogs seated themselves under. "Let's begin." Wendy moved to the tree, sitting near the water, gesturing for her student to have a seat next to her as she took a lotus position seating onto the ground. Andria nodded and then sat, mimicking the position, she then glanced to the fishes and frogs, noticing the roots "S-so...where do we begin..?" She seemed a bit lost before looking back to Wendy "We begin after your meditation." Wendy had already shut her eyes, speaking in a quiet tone. "O-oh.." Andria nodded quickly before shutting her eyes and breathing. After some time, Wendy opened her eyes, checking on Andria to check on her meditation. A wind blew past the two as Andria slowly opened her eyes, staring at the frogs in a neutral expression. "Now. Let's see if you can sway these frogs. Focus your attention to them. Listen to them and then request them to sing." Andria lifted a brow, looking to Wendy "Sing?" Wendy said nothing else before blinking to Andria, awaiting her. "R-right." She nods, then looked to three frogs that rests themselves, sitting on lily pads. Andria had stared at the middle frog. Eventually it let out a croak, alongside the other two, before jumping to Andria's direction. Andria leaped up in hesitation before being chased around by leaping frogs, ribbiting. Wendy exhaled lightly "We have a bit more work to do, hm?" She smiled lightly before following them.

    Lesson for Control of Nature

Andria sat infront of a potted pink tulip flower, her legs were crossed and she seemed to be having a hard time concentrating. She began fidgeting before a calm hand was placed onto her shoulder. As she opened her eyes, she noticed it was her mentor, Wendy.

"Starting a little early aren't we?" She'd move to the side of Andria before taking a lotus position, sitting besides her. Andria had then looked to Wendy, her expression almost filled with defeat. Wendy had then lifted a brow

"What's the matter dear?" Andria had then said in response "I-..I don't understand. How can I get it to bloom? It's not like it's trying to throw nuts at me but..I just don't understand." Wendy had then nodded to her before exhaling lightly. "Relax dear. Close your eyes and focus. Not on what you wish to accomplish, but what the tulip wishes to." Andria had then nodded before sighing and giving it another go. She closed her eyes, concentrating and envisioning the flower. After a while of meditation, Andria had then opened her eyes, looking to the flower and swaying the flora's stem to grow a few inches taller. Andria winced before falling forward, catching herself and her breath to relax. "Well done." Wendy hummed and patted her student. Andria smiled to Wendy "Thank you." She then went to hug Wendy.
