Greetings, all.

As a new member of this community I feel it only right that I burden you with painstakingly miniscule details about myself that may or may not allow me to more seamlessly integrate into the social interworkings of this server in hopes that I'll fit in and be accepted due to a lack thereof present in my bleak reality. My name is Kammy and I am a roleplayer. I am filled with many idiosyncrasies and regarding the moments you've taken out of your busy or perhaps not too busy schedule to read this, I'll keep these facts blunt and precise.

I like to write.

I like to dance.

I like to art.

Although I consider myself something of an introvert, I do hope that we'll get along for better or worse due to my internally non-complacent fear of being shunned by others. I'll be making a thread to showcase my artwork momentarily, so don't hesitate to stop by. I draw things for people I like, so be my friend. I'm not opposed to being used for materialistic gain. I'm sure I'll see you all around - assuming my application is accepted, of course.

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I say I’d agree with the condemnation of toxicity the most, merely based on my own personal conviction. A toxic environment truly does take the fun out of player experience in full for me, and I’ve been in such a state before. Of course other rules such as harassment and the negation of derogatory terms are just as valid, but I could only pick one.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): Nope.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I found out about Lord of the Craft through a friend recently, and this friend has been continuously requesting I join with her. Moreover, because I’m such an accommodating and generous individual I decided I’d humor her and check this place out. I actually legitimately have enjoyed what I’ve seen thus far, and I find the lore magnificently extensive. I was apprehensive because I’ve never actually seen Lord of the Rings tho lol.

What is roleplaying?: Google is for the uncultured so I’mma just wing it. Roleplaying to me is a medium of escape wherein one or more individuals take on the persona of another entity and act out what actions said entity would theoretically produce depending upon the situation. It’s more often done through writing or non-lenient methods such as video games instead of live action I believe, nowadays.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is the bane of my existence is what it is. It’s a ludicrous method of retrieving information or knowledge by which a player takes news gained in an OOC (Out of Character) fashion and incorporates it into IC (In Character) methods.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is essentially forcing actions or unrealistic principles on other roleplayers in order to further yourself. Instant kills, impenetrable armor, and mystical wings that pop out of nowhere in order for you to escape could be potential examples of this.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

One would never expect, nor would they be told that as a young lad Luca was no more than a farmer’s boy. Who’s to say that Luca is even his real name, if not some well orchestrated moniker. Raised in the land of Athera, his early teens and foregoing had consisted of simple crop cultivation along with the occasional self-taught swordplay discrepancy. An agricultural and botany infused lifestyle was continuously deemed a burden by Luca, whose sole desire had always been for a more fanciful upbringing filled with pleasantries and frivolities the LaBou household simply couldn’t bring forth. Born in the town of Aldersberg, naval communications were but a commodity, prompting the teen to join the force in an effort to escape the life he once knew and reform his own fabricated conduct. And so, by approximately fourteen years of age, Luca began his efforts towards a career based in militarism.

Somewhere along the line however, a shift in rudimentary ideals had overtaken the young man’s thoughts. Although he was set in his desire for a change of mores, he refused to give up basic indulgences such as gambling and women. They were far too tempting, and the sheer conception that he would no longer be with these rituals were ludicrous. So instead, upon his 18th year, Luca left the town of Aldersberg to pursue travel as a freelance mercenary. His craft has produced both experience and hardship, a plethora of events proceeding that sculpted and tore down the man into what he is today. Perhaps one day you’ll hear the tale, assuming what he tells you isn’t one of his many silver-tongued weavings of splendor.

Personality Traits: Flirtatious, Hilarious (To himself, at least), Courteous, Mentally Unstable, Conceited, Merciful

Ambitions: Luca’s main ambition as of current is to broaden his horizons and formulated a better understanding of the world he lives in. He hopes to eventually settle down and perhaps join an organized mercenary group or some higher authority to sustain himself, however for now he’s somewhat of a wild card.
