What is roleplaying?: It is the act of playing a character much like an actor plays one in a move or a play. You do as your character would do, making scenes with other people's characters by talking to them or doing things with them.
What is metagaming?: This is where you know something ICly that you would not know ICly. Often found out through OOC methods and translating them ICly without any proof of having found the information legitimately.
What is powergaming?: This is where you do unrealistic actions that your character normally couldn't do without proper skills or even not giving another character time to emote before continuing fighting. Or forcing a character OOCly to do something he would not ICly.
In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.
Character’s name: Carlia Jugara
Character’s gender: Female
Character’s race: Human (Farfolk)
Character’s age: 17
Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):
Carlia was born in a small desert area north of the town Al-Dirakh. Her family was far folk just as she was and she lived a very average childhood. Her parents were good people and they loved her greatly. Her father taught her about familial traditions and how to wield a dagger for self defence, though she wasn't very talented. And her mother was a great cook and merchant. They often traveled together to markets and she learned much about trade.
Carlia is now 17 years old and has dreams of traveling all over Oren. She wants to see everything she can. Her parents are more than happy to see their little girl move into the big world. Giving her a small satchel of things for the trip and their family cloak. So she sets out in search of a new adventure and a new life.
Personality Traits: She is a kind woman, loving to travel and meet new people, so very out going. She has a great sense of humor and loves to tell a good joke. Always seeming to be in a great mood and ready to cease the day.
Ambitions: Become a merchant, travel everywhere, get a home of her own, maybe have a family of her own. Make her parents proud.
Strengths/Talents: She is very charismatic and a fairly trained trader. She knows a bit about a dagger and also how to cook and about herbs.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Her normal background has limited her knowledge of the outside world greatly. Only knowing what her parents taught her. She is not a very good in combat and basically knows how to defend herself. She fears water so she refuses to go into it beyond basic bathing.
Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): She has a nice dark brown skin tone with jet black, with a brown tint, hair that falls nearly to her waist. Normal braided but not always. her eyes are a dull brownish yellow color. Somewhat similar to the sands of her home. She wears very light clothing under a black cap which wraps around her tightly. She stands at about 5'6 and only weighs approximately 130 lbs.
