How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? It was recommended by 'Burketma'
Definitions
What is roleplaying?: RP is simply playing the role of someone you aren't, often to escape the real world for a bit and become immersed in something new and enjoyable.
What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using OOC info IC. Such as, getting messages over the forums about an assassin coming to kill you from a friend who knows IC and pretending they told you IC for whatever reason.
What is powergaming?: Powergaming is not allowing your RP partner(s) to reply in RP and just doing actions without consent. It forces actions on people which ruins the fun of RP.
In-Character Information
Character’s name: Maxine Laurice
Character’s sex: Female
Character’s race: Human (Heartlander)
Character’s age: 18
Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):
Maxine was born in the city of Felsen, located in Oren. Born into a family of middle class bakers, she spent most of her childhood kicking around balls and doing physical activity with friends. She loved being social, playing on teams, all of those sorts of things. When she turned the proper age to begin schooling, she hopped right in with optimism. Unfortunately, she didn't take too well to it, and was often a trouble maker in class (much to the amusement of the other students). When she was about ten, her dad got a job as a guard for the city, and they started getting more income then before. She worried for him a lot of the time at school, although he'd console her every night, saying that he wouldn't get hurt and "most of the time it was a slow job anyway." Unfortunately, things ramped up when Adria started rebelling. Maxine's worries got the best of her at school and she started failing a lot of her classes. Things got even worse when her dad was fatally wounded when she was fifteen. He had to be taken to a hospital immediately and Maxine left school to visit him. He didn't survive long after getting there, but Maxine decided to honor his memory through hard work and ambition. She would become a guard, and save innocent people too. He would not die in vain...
One year later, the rebellion ended. Soon after, so did Maxine's schooling. She left with fairly average grades, and quite a bit of athleticism. She felt ready to face the world, but her mom said to give it a bit of time before leaving to go out on her own. Her mom wanted her to be at least eighteen before trying to make her own way in life. So, she baked for the family company every day, saving up tips and training every day with her dad's sword--also her most precious possession. Her friends and her stayed in touch as well, and come over to visit a lot. She tried to stop thinking about her old man, but he still surfaced in her mind often. Finally, after what felt like forever it was her eighteenth birthday. Gifts included money for her travels and some warm clothes for the winter months. Her mother would miss her, but she knew it was inevitable that her kid was growing up. Plus, she had some plans for her life too. She'd always wanted to be a blacksmith... Maxine gave her a final, teary-eyed hug and trotted off to her new life. The time had come to begin her story.
Personality Traits:
Maxine is very upbeat and loves to have a good time and socialize. She's a little cocky at times, she can be childish, but overall she's pretty nice. She's a huge extrovert, and loves making people laugh.
Ambitions:
Maxine very much wants to be a knight to honor her father's memory. She also wants to do good for the world, in whatever way she can. Wealth would also be nice, in her opinion, although it isn't the first thing on her list. Making friends is also important!
Strengths/Talents:
She's fairly average at use of a sword, and very good at baking from years of experience. She's very athleticly adept. She's also very charismatic.
Weaknesses/Inabilities:
Maxine struggles with anything romantic. Her charisma drops like a rock. Being somewhat childish at times can get her into trouble as well. Sometimes she can be too independent and lose track of her original goal to help people, getting into bad situations for refusing help.

Maxine stands at 5'8" and weights 130 pounds.
