What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I agree with them all wholeheartedly, but If I had to pick one over the others it would be the Rule about metagaming, as veteran RPer, I can say that Metagaming can be one of the most harmful things to an RPers experience.

What is roleplaying?: To act out the life of someone other than yourself.

What is metagaming?: To use information you learned outside of character as information as if you learned it inside character. I.E.: If someone told me their hideout was located in a certain area outside of character (OOC) and I used that information to locate their base to my advantage while roleplaying.

What is powergaming?: I know of two definitions of the term so I will write them both.
Powergaming is the deliberate act of creating a character with the intentions of making him as powerful as possible for the sake of only being powerful with disregard to History or the Role Playing experience. Powergaming can also be when someone attempts to force an action onto another Role player without their consent. I.E.: I have just initiated combat with another player. I approach them and then immediately slice them in half without any say on their part

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Ezrok Darkstar only knows one thing, Chaos. Born in 1498  in the midst of war between Oren and Haelun’or, Ezrok Darkstar’s life was a fragile thing. With no knowledge of his parents, he roamed the streets of Oren living off of scraps and the occasional charity from strangers. As he grew older he was offered several jobs that helped adapt his skills he uses today. Unfortunately, in many of those jobs, the employer wasn't too keen on living up with their end of the bargain. This has adapted Ezrok to be more cautious and less trusting of others. After a time, things were beginning to look up for the young Ezrok. he was beginning to make name, and had a small savings, but then the calamity struck and a giant worm destroyed everything he had earned.

Some would say that this was the breaking point for young Ezrok. As the human race made their way to the Isles of Vailor, Ezrok decided to stay away from his own kind. Choosing instead to roam the wilds, honing his skills and becoming even more detached from others of his kind. Thankfully this cold detachment is what helped him survive to the see the age of 20 where he will now attempt to rejoin the Kingdom of man in an attempt to make his own way. Now that Ezrok Darkstar as reemerged in the world he has only one goal in mind, to amass a fortune of his own so that he may never go hungry or cold again.

Personality Traits: Strong Willed, Socially awkward.

Ambitions: To amass a fortune.

Strengths/Talents: Emotionally Detached, Quick Thinking, In great physical shape (Due to living in the wilds).

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Untrusting (Due to Ezrok’s past, he often assumes others have ulterior motives, therefore preventing him from trusting and bonding with others) Illiterate.

And yea I've been lurking for a while now. A friend of mine used to play on this server I would always listen/watch him RP. His name was Lavanthus he was an Elven Warden with the rank of Noble.
Does anyone know how I would get my Donator rank under my name? Do I need to be whitelisted on the server first?
 

Greetings, the name is Ezrok.
After about 2 years of lurking I am finally applying to join the LOTC server family. I already donated and everything!
I'm working on my character right now, trying to research history for his background and working on his skin so if anyone knows any decent skin makers looking for work tell them to come my way, I even have a picture for references. I also will be contacting the Application team about some questions concerning Lore history. The wiki can be somewhat unspecific at times.
Anyways, I hope to join you all soon, wish me luck.
