Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

A soul-bearing machine, crafted from non-organic or dead organic material.  The anatomy of the being is humanoid, with tubings and cogs spread throughout the body like veins. Alchemical fluids flow through the "veins", powering the machine. If the creature was to start leaking fluid, the effect would be similiar to that of bloodloss in people, shutting down completely if the loss was equivalent to that which would be enough to make a human die. Loss of fluid is especially threathening to machine spirits, because their "blood" does not clot, and must be repaired manually. 

The most important part of the construct is the heart- a device of churning cogs, springs and a conductive gem. The clock heart generates energy that is transferred to the fluids, allowing them to power the creature. A machine spirit cannot function without it's heart, and if it were destroyed, it would be a permanent death unless the individual had back-up bodies for their soul to inhabit. 

If the individual was a mage in their fleshly life, they would retain their magic in steel, however at a cost, their durable frame being weakened to the level that of an average mage, and the voidal corruption flowing through them ensures that, if they were damaged, they would feel pain and thus would be prevented from casting. A mage's vessel would also require more maintenance than normal due to voidal atrophy.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look? 

A creature of rusted metal, draped with ornate robes. It's featureless face is cloaked by a hood from under which three golden lights shine, strange tubes and pipes connect to and from where it's mouth and nose are supposed to be.

The mage said, sharpening the blade that would soon taste the blood of Xannites and Aspectists alike.

A mage smiled beneath his helmet as he heard of the deeds of his comrades, wishing he had been there himself.

"And so the wretched hive of traitors and parasites falls... To allow the servants of the Aspects in their midst, to open up a voidal tear for nothing but vanity... They deserved the fate that came to them, no decent man should feel any pity for them."

And so he put out his campfire, offering a prayer to the righteous fallen that gave their lives for the sake of the world.

Cool lore other than the mental effects. That's quite personality changing for really unfun effects. I don't want to play a guy who has no opinions and is depressed, ****'s just not fun

1. How long have you been playing your character, and how have they changed and developed RPly? 

I started playing Dargo about 3 years ago when I came back to lotc. He was this annoying little child that was meant to be a joke character that I could play until I thought of a better one, but suprisingly people liked him for some reason and he got involved with some actually cool rp so I decided to keep him around and make him more serious. He's gone from a comedic street performed, to a gang member, to a cruel soldier and finally now to a wandering mage trying to spread his ideology and escape his cursed flesh. 

2. What are some small nuances or details in your character that might not be so obvious to other players upon interaction? For example, I often use the hand movements of my snow elf to express certain metaphors or his state of mind.

Not really, Dargo's rather blunt when expressing himself, though people are sometimes confused on what the **** his deal is, which is my fault for being too lazy to have Dargo finish his manifesto.

3. Does / Did your character have a strong bond with another character that you found to be memorable based on what it was founded on? (Characters who had a brotherly relationship, romantic, rivalry, etc.)

Dargo's naturally mistrustful of most people, but he cares a lot about the few people that remain from the group that took him in and raised him, mainly Mavromino's Osheim, who Dargo used to fear and despise but learned to respect, and snow's Jeffrey, who he has alot of ideological differences with but still sees as a brother.

4. What's the most badass thing your character has ever done?

I don't like bragging but Dargo has had a few cool moments in his many street-fights and duels, the most memorable one being the time he and the lads fought off an entire tavern and some guards at a party and only took one casualty.

Dargo's first kill where he had to murder someone to feed the frostwitch trapped in his basement was also fun rp, but not really badass.

I don't participate in many events due to my timezone but Dargo meeting and debating with the King in Yellow then declining his gift was really cool.

5. Character Art?

All I've got is my mspaint shitposts, most of which are not appropriate for official lotc mediums. Also he's a kha and I don't like furry art

6. Anything else you'd like to talk about regarding your character? 

I made Dargo as a joke and at the time I thought it would be funny if he was a kha and HOLY **** has that come back to bite me in the ass, I don't even like kha but people think I'm a furry for playing one. Atleast I might have an opportunity to make Dargo into something else soon TM
