The painter lifts her hand. "Two thousand minas," she states quietly.

Quick update for those still waiting for their commissions!
My tablet is having some serious power issues and your commissions will have to be on pause while I get this taken care of. (Don't worry, none of the pictures have been lost).
Thanks for being patient!

A bard plays a playful tune among amused colleagues in the deep of the night, singing a tale. She makes comically dramatic faces and spouting mocking voices among the uproarious laughter.
SpoilerAn inferno erupted in the dead of the heat and not a drop of water was in sight!
Not a river not a creek, nowhere they could seek, try as hard as they might.
A two-headed donkey said 'Eh! It's fiiiine, toss me to the fire! It's not that hot. Do you think us liars?"
The owls who watched cried "One brain would need smarts, you two-headed git, in order to be able to conspire."
Ol' two-head turned cross-eyed and they huffed and hee-hawed as they leapt in the fire's maw!
And what a stupid feast the fire made of this beast, of the morons too slow on the draw.

This place was once just a city in the sands. The proud city of Haria now stands changed, a land blooming with promise. The young woman in red stands admiring the colorful starburst tiling in the square as the gentle sound of bubbling, falling water from the fountain fills her ears.
The wide roads have been decorated with new tiling, and each one leads to somewhere more inviting than the last. With such a diverse city, each turn is a new experience -- a chance to learn more of the lively people around her, and for others to learn about her and her own people. No matter which road she decides to take, it will be a fine choice.
Bright, warm colors float overhead on banners and awnings, tea houses with full, savory smells and restaurants with the promise of good food flood her senses. Each road rekindles her curiosity and no matter where she goes, the knowledge that she is safe on her journey around the city gives her the greatest peace of mind to keep going.
Shops boast the highest quality trinkets, supplies, clothing, anything one could think of, proudly displaying their wares to pique the interest of passersby. Between the items they offer and the friendly faces of the shopkeeps, it’s hard for the young woman to resist buying everything that catches her eye.
Before she’s aware, the sun has begun to set and early evening settles in, the first faint stars beginning to dot the sky. Perhaps she should get home. Maybe one more look around. Just one more.
A new life has been given to this city, and it’s here to stay.

He's incredibly approachable, polite, mature, and leadership material without question. He gets a +1 from me!

These two children come from the Atatis family, raised by a pacifistic family to respect their fellow beings and the nature that surrounds them. Their mother being an artist and their father a bard, both have had the opportunity to explore their creativity. The family is currently on the smaller side, and incredibly tight-knit. Including these two, there are three children in the family, the third being the girl's twin brother, a seasoned sculptor.
Eldest Son -
The eldest son has the hair and eyes of his mother, sporting reddish hair and hazel eyes, and the tall frame of his father.
- Adventurous
- An interest in hunting
- Kind-hearted
- Family-oriented
The twin daughter is considerably shorter, with long, wild black hair and green eyes.
-An interest in music
-Close bond with siblings, especially her twin
-Bold and fiery
-Quick-witted
-Sharp-tongued when speaking to someone she dislikes

I was but it looks like I'll have to temporarily close up shop for a bit. A huge commission came in and I have to focus my time on that for now. But I'll post again when it's open!!

Thank you! (This isn't a stopping point for the commissions, so if anyone else wants one, then there are two slots left!)
But this is just a note, I don't use skype at all for my commissions. It's easy for my skype chats to get drowned out by others, lost and eventually forgotten and I'd rather that not happen.

Taking on four more slots! First come first serve!

[[ A smallish update, two new additions to the collection. ]]

[[ The last collection was archived with the last world, so this one is being brought back to document all in-character works by Shiloh.]]
SpoilerA family portrait. The date carefully painted on the back of the canvas shows it's more than 10 years old.
SpoilerAnother portrait, its date showing it was created over a decade ago. The three Atatis children, standing on an intimidatingly long road. One of the twins looks up at their big brother, as if expecting him to know what to do next. There's a note pinned to the back of the canvas with a leaky quill.
I had meant to line up the world for you. To make sure you grew up in a place where you didn't have to deal with being uprooted from home, your lives turned upside down. Somewhere where you could grow with your own people as your papa and I did, with not a worry in sight.
I didn't see something as huge as this around the corner. And now you wait impatiently, thinking that one day the land will get better enough for us to return to Haven Isle. I haven't the heart to tell you that it just cannot happen.
My sunsparks, joys of my life - you'll have all you need and then some here. You have Mama's honor on that.
SpoilerThe painting suggests it's only a couple of months old. The title on the back of the canvas reads: "Little Royalty Eloise."
SpoilerThe date reads 22nd of Sun's Smile, 1587. The note pinned to the back of the canvas reads:
I had a dream of my old home. Learning about the land with childhood friends, taught by one of the village elders. I remember that day well. I woke up homesick. I still feel homesick...
SpoilerA small sketch made with a mix of graphite and charcoal. The title on the back reads "Pataje Tab ak Pechè." A note accompanies it:
This was only one of many, many Pataje Tab at my home growing up. It's strange having been raised in a place where welcoming strangers and forming a friendship with them was the norm, and yet I grew up to live in a place where you have to be cautious of who you speak to. I hope I can create that welcoming feeling again in this new, strange position. Maybe I can? And if not me, maybe someone else...
SpoilerA large painting. It has no title or notes to accompany it.
SpoilerA large painting. It's entitled "'Druidism.'"
SpoilerA swan family sleeps while a younger swan strays towards an owl and a crow, nearing a ledge. It seems as though one of the swans is turned to watch the younger swan stray away.
SpoilerThe sun, the moon, and the stars.
SpoilerThe same two subjects of an earlier, larger painting. There's no title for this one.
SpoilerAn outfit design.

[Accepted] [Pending][Actor ( / builder? )] Gallic is trying.

From what I have observed, Gallic seems to attempt to have good intentions. However, with how poorly he takes constructive criticism by shutting out and completely ignoring the people providing it (after persistently asking for feedback on whatever the situation is) and how poorly he handles unexpected outcomes to roleplay that doesn't go in his favor, I can't upvote this.
