Frederick grew up in Aesterwald in a moderately wealthy household so he didn't face too many hardships growing up. This affected him as he grew older, as he wasn't prepared for the challenges he would face as an adult. Although he has no lack of ambition, he finds it difficult to reach his goals due to his introverted personality and tendency to do things his own way. He hopes to overcome this social barrier once he moves back home to Aesterwald.
Soon after he moved back to live in his parents home in Aesterwald, the city fell as the world fell into ruin. He found his way onto the boats headed for the Isles of Vailor and spent most of his time thinking about how he would live out his new life in an unknown land and made plans for himself.
With only a small inheritance fund to his name and no place of residence, he is looking to start anew. Frederick has set out to become a successful land owner as his father once was and now is looking to start a family before he grows old. He wants to be able to provide for his future family and until he can reach a suitable amount of wealth he does not feel prepared to bring up a child.
