How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Looking around on multiple skin creating websites such as skindex and planetminecraft, i kept coming across skins tagged LOTC. Curious, i looked it up and came here, and quickly got lost in the lore, and decided to join in.

Biography: Aelin was born in the middle of winter, 1597, in Taliyna'maehrin. Born to a middle-class family and an only child, she found solace in reading, and later painting.Being the only child in her small family she never had competition from siblings, however with both parents more interested in politics than their child, Aelin learnt very few social skills from them, and instead worked to gain top marks in her education, aiming to impress them. However due to her preference for novels instead of textbooks, she didn't do particularly well in most fields, except her artwork where she learnt her love for painting. Once she was of age Aelin quickly started selling her artwork, with a local tavern job on the side and made just enough to find a home for herself and move away from her parents who consistently belittled her about how she could be better and how politics was a much better career path compared to her budding artwork. Around this time Aelin began learning the lute on the side, enjoying the simple music more than the complex work her parents enjoyed, and would often play at the tavern she worked in earning some more money she began saving. At about 30 and never having many friends, Aelin found herself lonely, and with the bad connections to her family she felt the weight of her life choices sink in. Questioning her decisions in life she began work listening and learning politics, despite her disinterest in the topic. Eventually seeing that she had no chance in politics Aelin continues saving money and, when she decided she had enough she began travelling. She refused to map her journeys, believing that her findings were her own and nobody else should reach them. She did however document many of the flora she found, studying on them in the libraries from local towns and gaining an interest in gardening. Eventually she stopped wandering, settling down where the plants were brightest, and she could paint them at will.
Personality traits: Ever ambitious, Aelin has a tendency to overestimate herself and fails often. She is also rather pessimistic, often struggling with decisions and regretting things she had no control over. Should she become stressed, Aelin is prone to biting her nails, a bad habit she has tried and failed many times to break.
Ambitions:Aelin wishes to become the best in her field (painting) and to be able to use that as her only job. She has yet to achieve the attention needed to do so, and with her lacking social skills its unlikely she ever will, but she wishes for it none the less.
Strengths/Talents: Since a young elf-ling, Aelin has always had a knack for painting, specifically watercolor.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: After spending the majority of her life in the company of books and paintbrushes, Aelin has difficulty in social situations, often appearing rude or unkind, even if she means well. She is also rather weak, with little physical strength or endurance, due to her lack of exercise.
Appearance: With a slim figure and short stature, Aelin could easily be mistaken for human if it wasn't for her ears. Her mismatched eyes are the main defining feature of her face, with a simple button nose and dainty mouth to accompany them. Pale blonde hair cut short to keep it out her eyes when reading, high cheekbones and a sharp jaw line follow and add to the otherwise simple woman.
