Describe your knowledge on the descendant races

Humans: The Race of Men has been the most dominant race on the majority of the continents on LOTC, they are divided into three major sub-groups: Heartlander, Highlander, Farfolk. Each of these human races having their own strengths and weaknesses, and spurring on numerous distinct cultures, peoples as-well as languages that has made the human race extremely diverse. Human’s typically follow either the Canonist Faith or the Red Faith. The maximum age of a human is usually a hundred years but depending on lifestyle that number can increased or decreased. The Oren nation has always been referred to as the symbolic homeland of the Human race with a large portion of humans presiding within the Empire.

Elves: The Mali or Elves range from anywhere from 5ft to 7ft, the Elvish race has generally been known to being one of the most intelligent and physically attractive races of all with their silky long locks and very symmetrical faces. Elves have the longest lifespan out of all the mortal races with it being not uncommon to find Elves over 500 years old or even higher. There are four differing groups of Mali: High Elves, Dark Elves, Snow Elves and Wood Elves. In most circumstances these races live on seperate land and have their own nation, such as Haelunor in Arcas which is the home of the High Elves and Fenn the home of the Snow Elves etc.. The Elves are the wisest of the races due to their ability for lengthened age. 

Dwarves: Descending from Uruguan the Dwarves are a hardy race their bodies built for strength and craftsmanship, many reside in large underground caves and complex tunnel systems that are without doubt some of the most innovative and amazing structures in the mortal world. The Dwarves are split up into four subgroups which have their own respective traits and personalities the four being: Dark Dwarves, Cavern Dwarves, Forest Dwarves, Mountain Dwarves. While all of these are distinct the four generally focus on labour-intensive activities that has enabled the Dwarven race to surpass many other  mortal races in the field of technology as-well as enabling them capable of warding off attacks from foreign foes, most notably being the only major state that has not once caved to the Orenian Empire. A Dwarvish lifespan is far greater then relative races, with a child reaching adulthood at age 50. Dwarves are inflicted with Iblees’ curse of greed which forced future dwarves to take the bodily form of being stubby and fat, and also always greedy and known hoarders of gems and even things like ale. Dwarves follow their God ‘Yemekar’ but Dwarvish religion is complex and not monotheistic. 

Orcs: Orcs are by far the largest and most intimidating looking race out of the mortal races, their large bodies and chiseled structures have made many Humans fear at their presence. Like other races the Orcs are divided into three seperate sub-groups: Uruks, Goblins, Olog’s. Uruks make up the majority of the Orcish population standing anywhere from 6 to 8ft and have continued to spearhead national activities as-well as being triumphant in many cases. Goblin’s are the smallest of the three standing at about the size of a human child a Goblin is questionably the most intelligent of the three known for their expertise in crafting nifty pieces of equipment, it is rumoured that such intelligence could’ve came from being ancenstral offspring of Elves and Orc but this is not clear or conclusive. Ologs are the least intelligent but the largest of the three being anywhere from 10ft to 12ft, however for what they make up in size they compensate for intelligence unable to have coherent clear thought or knowledge of what they are doing. Most Orcs in Arcas reside in Kurgmar and generally find it more suitable to live in arid climates, not many Orcs live outside these environments due to physical practicalities but also social stigma surrounding them.

Describe your knowledge on other pieces of lore that you believe to be relevant

Pieces of lore that are relevant are subjective to the player on LOTC, for example the massive Vailor war between Uruguan and the Holy Orenian Empire would be only important to those two races. But the most important lore generally speaking is about: Iblees, the history of the Orenian Empire and other nations that continue to rise even after they fall showing the perpetual strength of it’s history and the Magics. While my knowledge on these topics always needs to be refined I am always wanting to learn more, however my strongpoint is human lore mostly. 

Detail what drives you to become a member of the application team

I want other people to be able to share the experience that I have had on LOTC which is mostly an enjoyable one. The uniqueness of the server makes it one of a kind and while there are issues with the server (as with all servers) there is no other platform I have come across in Minecraft that offers such an in-depth character building experience as LOTC does. i’d like to to continue and expand this and allow newcomers to do the same in a warm environment and being apart of the AT, I think, is a crucial role in doing just that. I’d also like to increase the player-base and help maintain a steady influx of players that would allow older players to see new players and generally feel more positive about the state of the server. Another way is also just answering questions from #help as-well as #ws so players are incentivised to come and write up an application knowing that the server is serious and unlike many others. 

Overall, I’d like to be a similar calibre of person that would’ve helped me get through the server when I first started.

Provide an alternate way to assisting new players apart from reviewing applications

There are numerous ways that an AT might be able to help a new player on the server, just from little things like giving them directions on where to go or how to use the chat, as the ‘#’ chat system must be confusing at-first. But the most crucial way in assisting new players is to help them engage and immerse themselves in the world through RP, usually one of the ways to do this is leading them to a group that they can relate to and find friendship setting them on their path for a good LOTC experience. 

Survey the application process and provide any possible improvements which could be made

In my opinion, I think that the application process is its current state well made to certify whether if someone should be accepted onto the server or not as-well as helped a new player retention due to it being more easier to be accepted. But a change I would make would be to emphasise the use of the Wiki more without it being too strenuous on the player, as from experience I found that going on there was a great way to learn about the world and gave me lots of clarity.

I'm highly active on the server and most days it can be anywhere from 6-16 hours.
