A Title Bequeathed

19th of the First Seed 1573

Amdiron was walking through the wild on a trail overgrown with vegetation. Up ahead a man hobbled along, a dark cloak drawn about him. As he got closer Amdiron noticed something familiar about the man. He stopped.

‘Do I know you?’ he inquired. The man drew back his hood.

‘Alfurst! Is that really you?’. Amdiron was in shock.

‘Yes Amdiron, it is me. The fates have guided me well’

Amdiron looked overjoyed and ran up to embrace Alfurst, who grunted in pain.

‘Is everything alright?’ Amdiron looked worried.

‘Well, actually no. I’m dying’ A look of grief was instantly shown on Amdiron’s face.

‘No, no you can’t be’ he said with a tone of disbelieving in his voice.

‘Sit down and let us talk’ Amdiron sat down on a log next to where he was.

‘The years have taken their toll on me and I am aged. Nothing can be done to help me’ Alfurst explained. ‘But I must tell you something. Something your parents would have told you when the time was right’

‘What is it?’

Alfurst waited a few seconds before responding.

‘You are descended from the house of Elendil’

‘Really?’ exclaimed Amdiron

‘Not directly, but you still have some of its blood in your veins’

‘So that means my true name is Amdiron Eradon-Elendil?’ inquired Amdiron, but no answer came. When he looked back he saw Alfurst unmoving. Amdiron checked his pulse, realising that he was dead.

‘Van’ayla brother, may your soul rest in peace’ 

Amdiron dug a grave next to a large willow tree and buried Alfurst there. He walked off, following the long path as rain hammered down from the heavens.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I agree with the always keep in character rule. This is because in my opinion when people go out of character on a dedicated roleplaying server it doesn't seem right. Its an RPG server and meant for roleplaying.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? Im interested in RPGs and especially fantasy ones. It is funny because thats not even how I found out about Lord of the Craft! I was searching up Lord of the Rings and this server came up. I was pretty excited because Lord of the Craft has all its own history and mythology which shows its dedicated.

What is roleplaying?: In my opinion roleplaying is where you take up a character or identity that is not you and become immersed in that persons identity and history. You also communicate with others and do the daily things your character would be doing. In roleplaying you might be a soldier in wars and battles or just be a farmer. 
What is metagaming?: Metagaming is where someone takes info from outside of a game and uses it in that game, even though their character in game would not know that info. Say someone is told about an assassin on the forums, they would avoid that assassin if they were metagaming
What is powergaming?: Powergaming is where you ignore role play, storyline and other people's enjoyment so you can play the story exactly how you want to. An example is say "Ratu punches the blacksmith in the face, knocking him out and giving him a broken nose" That is powergaming as you are saying you have knocked the blacksmith out already rather than "Ratu attempts to punch the blacksmith in the face which would knock the blacksmith out" which gives the person you are attacking time to react

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Amdiron Eradon was born in the year 1494. His mothers name was Arator and his fathers was Radon. They were part of a small group of remaining Adunians that still wander in the wilderness, hoping to keep the race alive. They call themselves the Adunian Rangers. In the Ancient Elvish tongue Amdiron means Hope based on reason for he added hope to the race of Adunians as it is dying out. The group he and his parents are part of is searching for the one who has the blood of the ancient kings of the Andunians and can ascend to the throne. Amdiron was 19 when Athera was destroyed by a giant worm. When he and the remaining Andunians of his group came to the Isles of Vailor they started their wandering all over again. In the year 1520 his group strayed into Orcish territory and Amdirons mother and father were slain by Orcs. One of Amdirons group, Glainur came rushing to them and drew his sword. Many Orcs fell beneath him that day and Glainur fought and fought. This was easy for him as Glainur was not slender like most Andunians but had a strong build. Then came the Uruk that was the size of two men that lifted its sword and felled Glainur. Many arrows from the other Adunians whistled down and struck that Uruk and many other fowl Orcs. Glainur was given a heroes burial and Amdirons parents were buried beside him. The Orcs corpses were stacked and burnt. This group of Adunians remained wanderers and rarely dared to go to towns. In the year of 1526 when the plague swept across Vailor Amdirons group were especially careful not to go near towns as most of them were crawling with the plague. But anyone who was sick that wandered near them was tended to by the Adunians and helped. Some of these "outcasts" were even accepted into their group. They follow New Adunian Creatorism and are disgusted by the Old Faith. They hate how it took over their kin at one point in time. Amdiron once wandered into a town of the highlanders and had a stroke of bad luck. This highlander town was known for their hatred of the Adunians, even more than most other highlanders. When they realised who Amdiron was they attacked, and Amdiron had to retreat into the inn of a highlander who he had made friends with. Amdiron escaped through a back exit, creeping into the darkness. After that he found that his group was nowhere to be seen, but their campsite showed signs of a struggle and fight. Amdiron wanders the wilderness, looking for the Adunian Rangers.

Ambitions: Helping his people survive, seeing the Adunians united once more and finding the location of his group

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Can speculate too much about others, leading him to believe they are enemies, sometimes tends to people who are dangerous, even if he is fully aware of that and can be too harsh on Highlanders and others who ruined the Adunians.
