You'd be surprised how much that isn't true. Even I'm surprised.

From what I've heard, the average US game costs around about $60. That is $87 Australian.

In Australia, we get games, on release for $60 AUD. However, that is $42 US. Interesting imo.

Huh, that's odd. I was referring to the "Australia Tax" but after doing a bit of poking around myself, yeah, Fallout 4 is cheaper in Australia than it is in the US.

I do however recall hearing that the Oculus Rift is going to be more expensive down under, so maybe it goes both ways?

  2. OOC:

    Skype name: roxersfoxers

    Username: DelendaEst

    IC:

    Name: Aleksandre Pridon

Reasons for applying: "I wish to better serve the hearthland in which I was born and raised. To do so among stalwart and just men of God would be a privileged without equal"

Do you agree to PK if RP is done appropriately and well?: Yes

  3. Out-Of-Character Information

Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication!

What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: DelendaEst

    How old are you?: Eighteen

Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes

Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes and yes.

What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I'm a fan of the rules around revivals and so on. I've played on servers where the OOC revival system really negates the consquences of death, which really cripples any notion of consequence. The fact that the server outlines behaviours such as "kill me then, i'll just revive" as a negative, is something I like.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?: Nope. They're all largely understandable.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Heard of it for years, getting into it now.

    Definitions

Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person!

What is roleplaying?: Taking on a persona, and making decisions as this person, rather than as their OOC self.

What is metagaming?: Using OOC information or knowledge to gain an IC advantage. I.e. Using Minecraft nametags to track down the person you're trying to claim a bounty on.

What is powergaming?: Simply put, powergaming is ignoring the inherent or realistic restrictions on your character. This could mean fighting 9 people at once and avoiding all hits, or in a more mundane example; swimming across a river in full plate. Both are nigh impossible, and examples of someone ignoring reality, and thereby powergaming.

    In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

    Character’s name: Aleksandre Pridon

    Character’s sex: Male

    Character’s race: Human (Highlander?)

    Character’s age: 23

    Biography

Aleksandre was born to Natia and Estan in the year 1513, on the newly settled realm of Vailor. His father, a proud man of Oren, would be divided by his desire to both serve his country, and raise his fresh-faced son. In the end, Estan decided it was better that he provide for his wife and son, and left to serve in Oren's army. Natia was careful to have Aleksandre that his father was not absent out of neglect, but out of love, for both his country and his son. With the coin earned by Estan's efforts, Natia and Aleksandre lived a simple and enjoyable life - filling the gaps in their finances by cooking dumplings as a trade. However things became a deal more difficult for the family unit when tragically, in 1520, Estan Pridon was slain in the Battle of the Forest. While grief took the widow and her only child, the two were vigilant, and swore to uphold his image in their hearts. For Natia, this meant teaching Aleksandre everything he needed to know, and for the boy, it meant learning to know why a man would die for an emperor he had never met. Over the next few years, by speaking with veterans and soldiers alike - the young human boy developed the sprouting seeds of patriotism, learning to love Oren much like his father had.

Though the path to a genial life is often beset by tragedy, something that Aleksandre would be harshly reminded of. In 1524, the brief catacylsm that blotted out the sun summoned some illness in the boy's mother, her condition quickly growing severe, and showing no signs of alleviating. With too few coins to hire a trained physician, and no knowledge of other cures for her ailment, Natia succumbed - leaving the 11 year old to continue on alone. Like before, the boy was determined to remain diligent, and continued his mother's business of cooking and vending dumplings, often occupying street corners or small alleys in marketplaces. Following the announcement of war between Savoyard and the Empire, Aleksandre left the city to instead serve the troops in the camp, catering to the men who reminded him of his father. Four years thereafter, at the budding age of seventeen, Aleksandre took to the seas with a skeleton crew of barnacled sailors - his goal now to use his gold to learn more of the world. For 12 years he remained with this surly crew, growing his spirit and knowledge in piecemeal fashion.

It is only now, at the age of 29 that Aleksandre returns to his fatherland, finally ready to fill the empty boots of his father.

    Personality Traits:

+ Humble: Aleksandre is not one to boast, nor speak out of turn. He is perfectly content with his place in the world.

+ Genial: While he most commonly comes to the aid of his brothers and sisters in race, Aleksandre is almost naturally friendly.

= Worldly: His years at sea taught him small pieces of knowledge concerning foreign cultures.

= Patriot: Like his father, Aleksandre is proud of fatherland, and lives for its betterment. His love of his country can however sway him into trouble.

    - Trusting: Often taking people at their word, and little else, Aleksandre is easily preyed upon by tricksters and rogues.

    - Self-Sacrificing: A trait adopted from his mother, Aleksandre has a tendency to put himself through harm if it means aiding someone close.

Ambitions: To do what he can to help his country, even if it means focusing on his community rather than the nation at large.

Strengths/Talents: He is capable of making a mean batch of dumplings, having earned a wage by doing so for many years.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Not a very good fighter, often grants his enemy too much grace in combat, additionally, his skill with reading and writing is below that of what's considered fluent.

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Aleksandre is a slightly sun-tanned male human who stands at approximately 5'10, weighing close to 160lbs. His musculature is predominantly stocky, and not aesthetic, meaning he is strong but may not look it at first glance. His head is for the most part shaven, save for a forelock of hair that he keeps at a certain length - this style one that his father boasted. His chin is primarily shaven, though he sports a curling moustache. Both his hair and moustache are of a soft auburn hue.

Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin: Sans the coat.

I've been doing FRPs for years. But I'm sorry I don't approve of new users that haven't existed for more then a couple days have no posts and no attachment to the community. It's shady and for all I know its another players alt to stave off other players which I've seen. Delenda hasn't existed for even 24 hours...... I have an issue with that

I'll be applying to the server shortly, Pie just introduced me to this topic because I like nation roleplay. And as he said, I'll be playing Greeks in Italy
